Good Morning Ladies, well I dont know about you but I find this weather ever so unpredictable, one minute its beautiful sunshine and next pouring rain, its a bit like April, but at least it isnt cold thank goodness. Todays card has been created for this weeks Wild Orchid Challenge "Make it Sparkle" and Ive used this lovely new image from Lili of the Valley of a group of carol singers around a street lamp, Ive coloured it with my copic pens and cut it out with my nestabilitie die, Ive used the die to draw around to create the mount, before mounting the image Ive used some glitter to glam it up, and the same with my sentiment.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of red card, and one of three papers from the new Papermania "Noel" paper card set, it has a mixture of one sided paper, glittered and two sided papers. This first one is a lovely beige paper with scenes on of people and christmas designs, the second and third papers have been cut in strips and the holly border edge punch from Martha Stewart has been used along both edges.
Ive wraped a ribbon around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount, and then stuck my mounted image in the centre and my sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of Ive used a large white Poinsetta and two small ones but Ive popped some glitter around the edges before sticking them to the top left corner with some silicone glue.
This card is to be entered in the following challenges:-
