A Card for Sunday's with Santa Challenge - "Monochromatic"

Good Morning Everyone, wow the sun is out and its absolutely gorgeous outside and theres me trying to catch up with myself. My eldest daughter Karen is taking part in the London Marathon so Im trying to keep tabs on her to, shes flown down from Glasgow to take part in the race and I want to wish her all the best, shes a real devoted runner and Im sure with her determination she will achieve her very best, I sincerely hope so as she would be very dissappointed if she didnt finish the race, she promised to let me know how she gets on, lets hope shes not to shattered to do so.
Todays card has been created for this weeks Sundays with Santa, its a Challenge site that Pops has created to allow us to make cards for this coming Christmas, and as we all struggle to get enough together this is a fine and fun way of doing so, at least you should have 50 cards by the time it comes around. This card is to follow last weeks theme which was "Monochromatic" and as I was away in London Im a week behind, if your interested in taking part this weeks Challenge is "Purple and Green" thats some combination you will find the site here so do pop across and have a look for yourself.
Ive used this sweet image of Santa and then my Tria pens to colour it in tones of grey and black, then cut it out with the rectangle Nestabilitie Die, then used a Deckle Edged one for the mount. The sentiment is one of the LOV ones thats been given the same treatment. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of black card and one of three papers that I found in my stash, the first one is a black spot paper and on top is a white with black spotted and Ive used a snowflake border punch down both edges and stuck on top of the first layer, the third paper is a black and white stripe thats then been stuck on top of the spotted one.
Around the middle is a black satin ribbon thats been attached to the back of the first mount, then I stuck my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of Ive used two snowflake buttons at the top on the right and a snowman at the bottom on the left.
