Cards for Men Challenge #12 - "Fathers Day"

Good Morning Everyone, I hope you are enjoying the Jubilee weekend and have maybe been to a party, at this moment we will be of doing our montly shop while this post is hopefully being scheduled to appear so I hope it will actually do that. This fortnights Challenge for Cards for Men is "Fathers Day" and its not to far away now and for this challenge we are being sponsered by "Letreset"

And they are offering a prize of

And here is what they say about themselves:-

ProMarkers are made by Letraset and are a twin tipped, dye based alcohol marker offering a high quality product at a great price. Avilable in 148 colours, they give incredible tonal range and can be applied to a diverse range of materials, not just paper and card. ProMarkers produce vivid, bright colours right through to the subtlest pastel shades - the translucent inks can also be overlaid and blended, even further extending the range of shades and hues on offer. ProMarker's quality nibs and inks provide flawless colour lay down with consistent coverage and no unsightly streaking

And this is the card I created for this Challenge.

Ive actually used this fabulous image from Mo Manning and its called "King for the Day" which is just what any man would love to be on Fathers Day and Im sure lots of your families will be treating their dad to this sort of thing.
I printed the image onto white card before colouring is with my promarkers, it was then cut out with my rotatrim and mounted it onto a piece of red card, the sentiment is one from my stash. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and the papers I  have used are from the Papermania's "Man about Town" and I have also used a piece of co-ordinate card that I ran though a cuttlebug with a folder with balls on. I used two different papers the first is a sentiment one, and the second one with stripes and footballs on. These were layered up and then the mounted image was then positioned towards the top with the sentiment at the bottom on the right.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the design team have created for your inspiration and I hope you also will take part in this "Fathers Day" Challenge.
