ABC Challenges - "Y is for Yuletide"

Good Morning Crafters, well here we are in December I wonder if like me you are thinking where has this year gone, it doesnt seem like yesterday when we were preparing for the last one and here we are only weeks away to this years Christmas.
Anyway as you can guess this fortnights Challenge over on ABC Challenge Blogspot the theme is to celebrate the time of year and its "Y for Yuletide" and we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of spend on their website

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

and as I work for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot I was lucky to be able to choose any of their gorgeous images and this was the one I chose.

This little chap is titled "A marshmellow for the Christmas Elf" and you will find him here, I have printed him onto white card then coloured him with my copic pens, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.1 to cut him out and a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red  card, the paper I have used is the backing paper that came with the image and I have stuck this on the first mount. I then placed my mounted image in the center on a angle, and I then used some punched out holly leaves and created the spray down the right hand side and top let hand corner, I popped some holly berries in at at angles and a sentiment was cut from a tag die and placed at the bottom with a triple green bow, and to finish of I have used some punched out Snowflakes and stuck them at the top in the right hand corner and bottom left hand one.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Y is for Yuletide" Challenge.
