Challenge #231 - "Shades of Blue" - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers Happy New Year to you All, Im scheduling this post as Im not sure how I shall be after having a cataract done on the 29th December so I will try and let you know how it went towards the end of this post.
This weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and this time we want to see "Shades of Blue" on your card please and of course the skin colours to, but bright colours are not allowed to be the main colour choice. Anyway as always our sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter

and as always you must have used one of their products on your card to be eligible to receive this prize but even if you havent they will still give you 3 images of your own choice, so you really cannot loose just taking part can you.
And for my card I choose this little lady

She is called "Melody" you will find her here, and I have printed her out onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card, the papers are also from The Paper Shelter and this set are "Curious Cake" paper set and you will find them here. I used four of the designs, the first is a pale blue with a swirl pattern on, the second and third are cut in strips and I used a EK Success music border punch and layered up as shown down the page, the last one was mounted onto a piece of the same blue card and the first mount and this was laid on top of the edge of the other two papers.
I then placed my mounted image towards the left and two music embellishments down the right side, and the sentiment is one that I found on the internet and printed and mount up and placed in the bottom right hand corner. The final flourish are the six pearls laid the left hand side.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see for yourself what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Shades of Blue" Challenge.
