A Card for Just Magnolia Challenge - "Anything Goes"

Before I post my card I want to bring to your attention a absolutely beautiful set of Christmas papers called Christmas Dreams that are coming on line from Donna next Friday 12th at http://bmd-creations.blogspot.com/. This is why Im so thrilled to be part of a wonderful new team, "I get to play with the papers before the rest of you" I know I shouldnt gloat but oh I carnt help it, they are stunning and heres a little preview of whats coming, and also my card today has been created from one of the new papers. I should also tell you than Donna will be having a sale from that day to celebrate her coming birthday, what better way than to celebrate someones birthday that being able to get your hands on such a beautiful set of papers.

I have created this card for this weeks Magnolia Challenge "Anything Goes", I will also be having a look around to see if there are any other ones that are suitable for it as well. Anyway Ive used this gorgeous new image of Tilda and printed her onto smooth white card then masked her to stamp the halo behind her, this is one of last years Christmas stamps and I felt it was just lovely to go with this one then I coloured it with my copic pens and used lots of glitter in lots of places. The sentiment is also one from last year to, both of these have been cut out with a circle die and mounted on blue card cut out with the new eyelet die from Nestabilities.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card and this fabulous new paper from Donna, its so pretty that Ive only used the one paper as I didnt want to cover it up to much, as it is the flower spray is covering up the swirls that are up in the top corner, Anyway Ive used a piece of blue card to mount this paper on and wrapped a organza ribbon around the centre down the page for a change. On top of this I have positioned my mounted image and the sentiment at the bottom on the right.

To finish of I have used the gorgeous new flowers from Wild Orchids, the Hellebore which I have inked the petals with some blue ink, and used three different size roses and some punched out holly leaves and of course the pearl sprays that have then been stuck to the card with some silicone glue.
