And I sincerely hope that like what I have done.I have used this image "Emma in Flower Jeans" and you will find it here, and I printed her onto white card, coloured the skin, hair and the shirt, but I then used the Gingham papers from Pink Gem to paper piece her trousers and jacket.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the papers are as I said from Pink Gem Designs and you will find them here, I have used two papers a purple and yellow, I have used the first one for my base mount and this placed onto purple card, on top of this I have used my Martha Stewart circle punch to create the doily thats behind the square doily which was placed on top.
I then wrapped two gingham ribbons around the middle on top of a punched out border, and attached it to the back of the first mount. I placed my mounted image in the center and the sentiment across the bottom right hand corner.
And I created a double bow with some of the same gingham ribbon and stuck it in the top left hand corner, I also used flower punch to create the flower buttons that have been placed in the top right and bottom left hand corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pay a visit to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will take part in this "Gingham, Ribbon/Designer Papers" Challenge and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
