This fortnights Challenge over on A Gem of a Challenge - Pink Gem Designs is "Embossing" and this means any kind is acceptable either dry of wet and for my card I have used this sweet image
This gorgeous image is "Chloe with a Kitten" you will find her here, and I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, then cut her out with my oval die, and mounted her onto a very pretty mount cut with the Wild Rose Dies, and I also used their stamp and die for the sentiment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and the papers are from Pink Gems "Sugar and Spice" digi papers and you will find them here, I have used three of them the first is a green one and the second and third I have used a heart border punch along the edges, and these were layered up and stuck on top of the first layer.
I then used a border strip embossing folder and a piece of the same green card as the mount and embossed it and stuck if down the side on the left. Afterward I placed my mounted image in the middle of the card with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
To finish of I have used several colours of carnation flwoers and two pearl sprays and placed them in the top left hand corner on top of some punched out leaves.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogpot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Embossing" Challenge.
