Challenge #271 - "A Card for a Child" - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, I have been so busy over the last few days getting all these posts scheduled to appear so close together, its amazing that for a change they all come out almost in one week. Anyway todays Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is all about creating "A Card for a Child" and Im sure all of us are creating some sort of card for either our children or grandchildren or other family member or friend that I hope its a easy one for you to find something to inspire you.
So this weeks Challenge is being sponsored by Veronica and she is still offering a fabulous prize of $30 to spend on The Paper Shelter website

but this is providing you have used one of their products on your card and this could be a Image, Paper or Printable and you will find lots to choose from on their website and even if you dont use them they will still offer you 3 images of your own choice, so you really cannot loose can you? Please also remember you are allowed to enter three projects but one of these must carry one of our products please.
And here is the Card I created I hope you enjoy it

This little lady is called "Lollipop Princess" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie Die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount our of pink card. The sentiment was one one I found in my stash and then mounted it onto a fancy diecut.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of pink card and the papers are also from The Paper Shelter and they are called "Birthday Cupcake" papers and you will find them here. I printed several of the papers and cut them into strips and used a Martha Steward Happy Birthday border punch down the edges then layered them up on my first layer.
I then placed my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used a couple of cupcake buttons down the right side in the top corner.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have for your inspiration and hopefully you to will take part in this "A Card for a Child" Challenge.
