Cards for Men - Challenge 8 - "Spring Colours"

Good Morning Everyone, I do hope that you are enjoying your Easter, the weather hasnt been to good here in Gloucester but I do hope its been better with you. This fortnights Challenge over on the Cards for Men  is "Spring Colours" and we are being sponsered by Digi Doodle Shop.

They are offering a prize of $10. gift Voucher to spend on their website. And this is what they say about themselves:-

Digi Doodle Shop is the results of a mother and daughter’s love for the arts and crafts. It was started a little over 3 years ago with a little more than 100 stamps, and has since then grown to almost 500 stamps. Joy (the mother of this team) designs realistic images, while Judy (aka/daughter) loves the “fun side of life”, and create images with a cartoon flair. Having these two complimenting styles have enabled
Digi Doodle Shop to offer a wide variety of stamps.
It is a real honor and pleasure to sponsor this challenge, and we look forward to seeing all the amazing creations. We thank the design team for their incredible creations, and wish all the participants the very best of luck in this challenge.

We were lucky enough to have several images to play with and I chose this one,

his name is "Louis with Butterflies and Buttercups", Ive printed him onto white card then used my copics to colour him, afterwards I cut him out with my rotatrim and mounted him onto a piece of yellow card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of yellow card and one of three papers from "Cool Spring Days" from the Scrapebook Computer Digi Downloads, the first is a yellow daisy paper and the second a zigzag multi coloured one thats been stuck down the left side, on top I have used one of the Cheery Lynn rectangle dies, and my mounted image was then positioned on top, I then stamped a sentiment and mounted it at the top on the right handside. To finish of I used the punched out leaves that were in the middle of the die and stuck them in the bottom right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented design team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will then take part in this "Spring Colours" Challenge.
