"Biker Girl"

On Sunday last weekend I was sent a email by Dr. Digi with this "Biker Girl" image above and it reminded me so much of a very dear friend of mine, and as this week is a very difficult one for her and I felt if I could make her smile it was worth buying it and giving it a go.
And this was the photo that inspired me and as the friend in question is almost 86 I thought that the image was appropriate so I hope you like the result.

Latest news, she was thrilled by it, as its her Wedding Anniversary on the 31st and she lost her hubby nearly 2 years ago and is still very weepy over it and lonely, but this made her smile so Im so pleased that I gave her something else to think about at such a difficult time.

Challenge #24 - "Anything Goes" - Cards for Men

Good Morning Crafters, well yet another fortnight has flown by and over on Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot we have a favourite theme for this challenge and its "Anything Goes". Weve been lucky to be sponsored by Dr. Digi

http://www.doctor-digi.com/index.php?route=common/home

and they are offering a prize of:- 2 Images of their own choice
and this is what they say about themselves:-

DR Digi's House of Stamps is a site that aims to bring you digi stamps
with a sense of humour. We're not your average
Digi site, you wont find flowers and teddy bears.  Well you might..
but it'll be holding a bloody big chainsaw!

And we were very lucky to have been given a choice of images to play with,

and this is the one I picked hes called "Weekend Walter" you will find him here, and I printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used my Nestabilitie Dies to cut him out and the mount for him. The sentiment was one I created on my computer and printed it and mounted this also onto a blue card mount.
The card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and the papers are from Sweetshoppe
Digi Download "Dads the Man" and I have used a brown circle one for my base layer then a stripe one and a check one on two mount which where then placed on the base layer with the mounted image in the center towards the top and the sentiment below on the right. To finish of I have used three candi buttons down the right hand side at the top.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge.
