Challenge #367 - Shades of Blue - The Paper Shetler

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well we are already 3 weeks into a New Year and because at this time of the year especially in the UK we seemed to be drawn to the following theme

Shades of Blue

as to me its cold enough to turn your hands blue I have problems with blood circulation so it seems appropriate.
And you will find beautiful images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from to. Our Sponsors are and as always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner.
And for my own card I chose to use this image

This image is titled "Snowball Fight" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, I then used a Nestabilitie Rectangle die to cut her out and a fancy one for the blue mount.
The sentiment is one from my stash and I have stamped this onto white card and also mounted it onto a blue diecut from the same stash as the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the first mount out of blue card and the backing paper is also from the same image set and you will find it here. On top of this I have used a Memory Box dies cut out four times and put in the four corners and on top Ive used a square doily and placed my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and take part in our "Shades of Blue" Challenge.

This little temptress is called "Adorable little Devil" and you will find her here, (she is on special offer at the moment) I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to cut her out, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Label Die No.1 to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment was one from my stash and I have also mounted this onto another of the fancy tag dies from Spellbinders.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of orange card, the papers are from Sweetshoppe Digi Papers and this set was titled "Spider Cider" and I have used four papers, the first a spiders web, the scond is a white background with bats on and I used the Martha Stewart Bat Border punch down the edge of this one the second is a orange one and on this one I have used a pumpkin border punch and the third is purple background and a black diamonds and on this I have used the spider border punch.
I then used the Memory Box Spider background die, and on top I have also used bats and spider both from Memory Box Dies. The final flourish are the three charms which I have removed the eyelets on top two I have placed in the bottom right hand corner and the third on the spider web.

Good Morning Crafters, well the Challenge over on Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot is all about using Kraft paper so it was up to me to think about which of the gorgeous Pink Gem images to use and I hope you like the result. As always our very generous sponsor is Janet of Pink Gem Designs
http://www.pinkgemdesigns.com/catalog/
and you really should pay a visit to her website and see what gorgeous images there is on offer. And here is the card I created for this Challenge.

And I have used "Spiderman Andy" and you will find him here, I printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him afterwards I used a Justright Vintage Labels No.2 to cut it out and then created a mount by drawing around the die and cutting out by hand.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of Kraft card and I used a large embossing folder and put it through my ebosser to create the background, I also then used some duster and inkpad to darked it.
I then placed my mounted image in the middle and in the top left hand corner I have used a Memory box Spider Corner and a spider, the sentiment is one from Papercraft dies and this was placed down the right side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Kraft plus one other Colour" Challenge.
