Challenge #327 - Things that Fly - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well my cold has almost dried up though its left me with a chesty cough I hope it wont belong before that disappears to as Im still waiting to be signed of from the optician over my cataract op, I also have to get my teeth sorted (plate) I put if off while I have had this bug didnt think it was fair to pass it onto them.
Anyway this weeks Challenge is all about

"Things that Fly"

Im sure among all crafting goodies you must own something that could be used for this theme, it could be a kite, swing, bird, fairy even a plane, the choice is yours and we all look forward to seeing what you eventually come up with.
But firstly before I show you my card you will want to know who our Sponsors are and as always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But as always it comes with the rule that you must have used one of their products on your card or project, this could be a Image, Paper or Printable and even if you don't, they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, so it really is a win win situation don't you think.
And here is the image I decided to use:-

this is "The beautiful Flight Attendant" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a rectangle Nestabilitie die to cut her out and a fancy one out of blue card for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash which has been stamped and then mounted on another die from the same die set as the mount for the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card which was then mounted with a dark blue card the same I used for the image, the backing paper is also from the same image set as the main one and you will find it here.
I then placed my mounted image towards the left at a angle to copy the tag behind it, and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used some embellishments and placed them down the right hand side.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will take part in our "Things that Fly" Challenge.

But before I show you the card I have made you will want to know who is not only sponsoring us but also whose images we are using for this Challenge.

And they are offering you a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website and they have some really stunning images to play with this, and not only these but also printables and papers lots to choose from also they often have special offers to at really reasonable prices. But this is only if you have used one of their products on your card but even if you haven't they will still give you 3 digis of your own choice and you really cannot loose can you? Please can you remember you can enter three projects but at least one of them must carry one of products please.
And now to show the card I created for one of our granddaughters.

This little lady is titled "I am a Easter Bunny" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used the Nestabilitie Egg Die and cut her out and created a pink mount for her out of pink card. The sentiment was also stamped onto the smallest diecut and cut a slightly larger one out of pink card for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white one with a first mount out of pink card, the papers are from Sweetshoppe Designs Papers and I have used 5 of the papers and used a Martha Stewart bunny border punch on all but one of the layers and then stuck them across the base mount and then wrapped a white ribbon around and attached it to the back of the mount.
The mounted image was then placed towards the left and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner, to finish of I have used several of the novelty Easter buttons down the right side and along the bottom of my card.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Easter Time" Challenge.

The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card the papers are from the "Zoe Spring" paper set from The Paper Shelter and you will find them here. I have used 4 papers from the set the first one is a pale blue with slightly darker leaf pattern on it, the second is lilac one and I used a leave border down the edge the third paper is a green paper with flowers on and I used the leaf border punch down the edge like the lilac one, the fourth paper is a pink one and I used the same border punch on this to.
On top of these papers I used a pale green card strip and used the same border punch from Martha Steward and laid it down the card about a 3rd of the way in, and for the last strip down the outer edge I used a dark green strip of card and a larger border leaf border punch also from Martha Steward.
I laid my mounted image towards the top of my card and the sentiment below it towards the right. To finish of I have used Nuvo drops down the right side in several colours. I hope you like what you see and will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Challenge Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Away with the Fairies" Challenge.
