Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well todays Challenge is all about using a Charm on your Card I can remember a few years ago when these were very popular and I know if your anything like me you have a full box of them so I dont suspect you will have any trouble finding one to add to your card but even if you do any piece of metal is allowed on your card instead.
But before I show you my own card I had better tell you who is our
sponsor and of course its our very generous Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter
and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website here,
and if you have used one of their gorgeous images you will be entitled
to the whole amount but even if you havent you will still receive 3 digi
images of your own choice. But please if you are going to enter more
than once, you are able to take part 3 times but one of those must
carry one of our images please.
And for my Card I used this little lady
She is "Smart but Sexy" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I cut her out with my rectangle Nestabilitie Die and a fancy one for the mount out of beige card. The sentiment was created in the same way with the same die set.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of beige card and the backing paper is also from the same design set as the girl and you will find it here, and I then used a circle doily in the middle with the mounted image stuck in the middle of the card. I put the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have created a bow out of beige ribbon and hung the laptop charm from it.
And the final flourish are the
in the top right hand corner and the bottom left one. Now that youve seen my Card I do hope you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to want to take part in this "Charming " Challenge.

We are so lucky to be able to choose any of Janets images and papers to play with and this time I hope you like what I have done with one of her pre-made card designs.

This beautiful card front I printed onto white card, you will find it here as "Roses and Butterflies" and then created a card with the topper, I then used the decoupage pieces by cutting them out and moulting them into shape and then sticking the layers up on top of the topper.
I used one of the sentiments from the same printed set and mounted this onto a piece of bright pink card and placed in the bottom left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Flowers" Challenge.

ABC Challenges - G is for Grand - "Anything but a Card"
Good Morning Crafters, well as you can guess we have started a brand new month and with this comes a new Challenge over on ABC Challenges and this one is slightly different as we want to see "Anything but a Card". I always find this a extra challenge as Im never sure what to create so this time I hope you like the result.
We are being sponsored by Magnolicious
And of course it was necessary to dig around in my Magnolia stash and this is what I came up with.
I have always dreaded this happening to me but so far Ive been lucky. I stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I then cut her out completely.
The bag die is from Tonic and this was cut with dies and made up as shown in the photo with the basic bag out of red card with a overlay of black. I also stuck it together and added the handles as shown.
Afterwards I stuck the cut out Magnolia image to the left side of the bag.
Now that youve seen my project I hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Anything but a Card" Challenge.

and this is the Image I chose to use.
And this little lady is called "So Casual, so Beautiful" and you will find her here, I actually call it A Hug in a Mug as thats the sentiment I have used with it. I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens then cutting her out with a oval die and a fancy one for the mount. I used the same treatment on the sentiment.

Challenge #241 - "Easter Time" - The Paper Shelter
Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well can you believe that this coming weekend is Easter and of course the clocks will change again to Summer time and we loose a hours sleep, we have quite a job convincing our dog that the time has changed as shes so sure her feeding and walking times dont alter, I think shes in for a big surprise.
Well as its only days before the big Chocolate Egg time I thought that my card for this "Easter Time" challenge should be something to do with this season but its slightly different for the usual Bunny card and I hope you like the result.
As always our sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.
But this is providing you have used one of their products on your card and this could be either a Image, Paper or Printable and you will find lots to choose from at The Paper Shelter Website here, and even if you dont use one of these they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice. But we only allow 3 entries into our Challenges and at least one of those must use on of The Paper Shelter products.
And now for the reveal of my card
As I said its a slightly different Easter card and this scene is titled "Peaceful Easter" and you will find it here, I printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I cut it out with a circle Nestabilitie die and a fancy one for the mount, the sentiment was stamped onto white card then also cut out with a Spellbinders label die.
The base card is 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card, the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image and you will find it here. I then placed my mounted image in the center and the sentiment in the top right hand corner.
To finish of I have used several egg buttons down the left hand side at the bottom and then the rabbit one in the bottom right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope you will now go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Easter Time".
Also a very Happy Easter to you all.

ABC Challenges - "D is for Delicious"
Good Morning Crafters over on ABC Challenges we have reached the letter D and this time we would like you to create a card that is Delicious, and I leave that image to your own imagination. We are being sponsored by Bunny ZoeS and its such a shame that Nikki has decided to close her shop its been a brilliant sorce of crafty goodies for me.
I decided to use a House Mouse Image and here is my card
This little chap has rather over indulged in cake and I stamped him onto white card then coloured him with my copic pens, afterwards I used my Nestabilitie die to cut him out and used a fancy one for the pink mount behind him. The sentiment was treated in the same way as the Image.
The papers are from Joanna Sheens Backing Paper CD and I have used three of them for my card and layered them up as shown in the photo, I then placed my mounted image towards the top in the center and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
To finish of I have used cake and doughnut buttons as embellishments in two of the corners.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "D is for Delicious" Challenge.

Challenge #239 - "Away with the Fairies" - The Paper Shelter
Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well can you believe that we are already into March, for me this is a very busy month as I have so many family birthdays that Im afraid that I will forget someone that I like to get well ahead with my cards.
I have been suffering with a chest infection and looking after a sick neighbour who has now been taken into respite care so a little time has been returned to me, though today I have a hospital appt and will be scheduling this post.
Well todays Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is themed "Away with the Fairies" and this was a phrase that my daughter told me I was that, though it may well be true as I love anything to do with the little people.
Before I get to deep in my young past you will want to know what is going on and this will be sponsored by our very generous sponsors Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.
And for my card I used this gorgeous image:-
And this little lady is "My hair" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and then cut her out with a Little B die and a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of pink card the papers are from "Bewitched" papers and you will find them here, I have used 3 different papers the first I used on the base mount and the other two I cut into squares and used a heart corner punch on each of the corners these were layered up and the mounted image was then placed towards the top on the left and the sentiment was then put under it in the right hand corner.
To finish of I have used some Nestabilie leaf die cuts and some punched out pink flowers to create a frame around the mounted image.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to want to take part in this "Away with the Fairies".

ABC Challenges - "C is for Cute"
Good Morning Crafters well we have reached "C" in the alphabet over at ABC Challenge Blogspot and for this its all about being "Cute" and we are being sponsored this time by
And for my Card I chose this "Cute" image
And this is "Dino" and I you will find him here, I created this card for my Great Grandson as he loves Dinosaurs and this I felt was a ideal image for him.
I printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used a circular die to cut him out with a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment was created on my computer and then also cut out with a round die and I used a fancy one for the mount. The number is a wooden one which I coloured with a pen and placed in the center of the sentiment mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card the papers are from Sweetshoppe Digi Papers and I have used five papers from the Dinosaur patterned paper set and three of them I used a Dinosaur border punch on, I then placed a ribbon around the bottom and stuck the mounted image towards the left hand side at the top and the sentiment in the top right hand corner.
I then diecut the dinosaur from a Tattered Lace die and placed this in the bottom right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented De
sign Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "C is for Cute" Challenge.
