Cuddly Buddly's Challenge 15 - "Check it Out"

Good Morning Everyone, yes I know I have been rather lapse with posting these last few days but its been a busy week and other things have come first Im afraid, I have tried to do some blog hopping to make up for it. Anyway today we have reached our Fifteenth Challenge over at the Cuddly Buddly's Challenge Blogspot and this week we want to see "Checks"of all sorts on your cards and this time I am using the gorgeous "Pamela Studios" digi Images and Papers, and I do hope that you will visit Kim's Shop "Cuddly Buddley's" as she has lots of freebies for you to use and play with, Im sure once youve seen them you will want to purchase some of the others because they are stunning. Anyway heres my card for this weeks Challenge.
The image I decided to use is from the Toby Tumble range and called "New Home" and you will find it "here" and Ive printed him onto white card before colouring the image with my copic and tria pens, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.1 to cut it out and then used the die again to draw around to create the mount for it out of blue card. The sentiment is one from my stash and I have used the Double Ended Tag Die for this, and fixed it to the card with blue brads.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card I then used two papers from Pamela's "Soft Spring Papers" (Spring Bouquet) digi set and you will find them "here", the first paper is a very pretty patchwork of flowers and sentiments, one top of this is a strip of blue check paper that I have used a fence border punch from Martha Stewart on each of the sides, then on top is my second paper from Pamela, it has lines of flowers in pots in several different colours. I then wrapped a check ribbon around the middle twice and attached them to the back of the first mount and created a blue check knot which I have placed between the two. And the final flourish is the little check button in the top left hand corner I have threaded bakers twine through the holes and tied it in a knot.
I do hope that now youve seen my card you will go and visit the Cuddly Buddly Blogspot and see what the rest of the "Cuddly" team have created for you and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this weeks "Check it Out" Challenge.

Cuddly Buddly's Challenge 11 - "Add and Tag"

Good Morning All not only is it my 11th Wedding Anniversary today but its also my second Challenge DT card for Cuddly Buddly, and this time I am using the most gorgeous "Fairy" by Kate Middleton, she really does create the most beautiful images and if you would like to go and visit her you will find her here at Cuddly Buddly,  Kim has some really very talented Artists and Designers for her beautiful Digi Stamps and Papers and Im sure you will fall in love with them as I have, please do go and see for yourself I know you wont be able to leave without one or two in your basket.
Heres my card for this weeks Challenge:-
Isnt this image beautiful and its called "Little Friends" and I printed her onto white card then used my Copics and Tria pens to colour her, afterwards I cut her out with a Circle Nestabilitie Die, and for her mount I have used one of the Cherry Lynn Doily Die with blue pearlescent card. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and again Ive used the same blue card for the first mount, then for my papers I have used "Enchanted Wishes" in a blue check and on top is a yellow paper thats been cut into a square and punched with one of my border and corner punch sets from Martha Stewart.
This have been layered up and then I used a beautiful piece of lace around the middle and attached to the back of the first mount, I then punched out a 8"x 8" square from White pearlescent card for the whole thing to be mounted on, once this was dry I then mounted my image in the center and created a tag with one of the "Enchanted Wishes" sentiments and at the bottom I used a circle one with a lovely sentement on again.
To finish of Ive used several different sized roses for the spray in the top left hand corner, and this was attached to the card with silicone glue and punched out leaves, I also used some stickles glue on them to make them sparkle. Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pop over to the Cuddly Buddly Challenge blog and see what the rest of the very talented team has created for you and Im sure it will inspire you to take part in this weeks Challenge "Add a Tag".
