A Card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge

Good Morning, it seems so long since I actually created a card with these images and because we have a weekly challenge on Facebook for "Sundays with Santa" I thought I would incorporate it with the "Sugary Sunday" and "Sugar Bowl" Challenges, so heres the result.
Ive used this sweet image from Funky Kits and coloured it with my copic pens then used Nestabilitie Die No.7 to cut it out, afterwards I used the die to draw around to create a mount for it. The sentiment is one that I had in my stash.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white easel card, and the first mounts are red card and the backing papers are from the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas Pack, they are gorgeous the ones I have used are white backgrounds and decorative bauble designs on. I have created the inside identical to the outside and placed my mounted image towards the left. I have placed the sentiment at the bottom on the left and used Card Candi (chipboard) in the spots.

Cards for Men Challenge #14 "Happy Birthday"

Good Morning everyone, I do hope that youve all had a enjoyable weekend, the weather as usual has been difficult and I hope those that have suffered the worse are getting help to sort things out for themselves. Anyway this fortnights challenge is being sponsered by Di's Digi Downloads.
Im not sure what the prize is at the moment but Im sure you will be able to find out on the Cards for Men Challenge blogspot.
As the challenge theme is Happy Birthday I decided to use a Lili of the Valley image.
And I stamped him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut it out and a larger one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a paper I found in my stash, I believe its a Wild Rose "All about Man" paper pad, and then the piece of card I used down the card has been put through my cuttlebug with a start embossing folder. The sentiment was one I created on my computer and then printed and cut out with a circle die, and then mounted on a larger one out of pale blue card.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will go and visit The Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for you, and hopefully they will inspire you to take part in this "Happy Birthday" Challenge.

A Card or the Teddy Bo Challenge - "Anything Goes"

Good Afternoon Everyone, well gues what the sun is out and it looks gorgeous out there and a lot better than first thing this morning which was a world of white, heavy frost. Anyway today Ive created a card for the Teddy Bo "Anything Goes" Challenge and Ive used this super hero Teddybo image and Ive coloured it with my copic pens then used the Nestabilitie Die Labels No.17 to cut it out then used the die again for the mount (top tip). The sentiment was created on my computer and printed it and mounted it with a piece of red card thats used elsewhere on it.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and then three papers Ive used are from the Wild Rose "For Men" paper set, and the sketch was one I found on the internet not sure whose it is but thought it was just right for a male card.

A Card for the LOV Challenge "A Sketch by Donalda"

Good Afternoon Everyone, I dont know about you I had awful trouble yesterday with Blogger and I had every intention of popping to visit you to leave you comments, and as one of you already know the ones that I did get to I probably left more than one comment as each time I clicked on publish comment it came up with the error page, so if you are one of those please forgive me and delete all the double up ones. Anyway I thought today that I would post a card that Ive just made for one of my neighbours who's just had her knee operated on and I suspect shes trying to excerise it, shes a very agile 83 year old and looks in her 60s. I dont know if you had a selection of LOV images that were part of one of craft magazines this month, but I was lucky enough to do so and have used this sweet image of a little girl with a bunch of flowers, Ive coloured her with my copic and tria pens before using the rectangle die from Nestabilities, Ive also used the deckled edged one for the mount. The sentiment is one of my stash and this has been stamped onto white card then mounted onto a piece of yellow card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and then used a yellow piece of card for the first mount and on top Ive used one of four papers from the new Wild Rose Butterfly Paper set, a yellow background with yellow roses and pink butterflies on it, the second is pink butterfly paper, the third is a green leaf one and the fourth is a yellow roses paper. These were then mounted according to Donalda's sketch and then my mounted image on top in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right.
I then created a flower spray with two different sized roses and a rose bud on top of some punched out rose and fern leaves, and with a couple of pearl pin have stuck it around the image at the bottom left hand corner. The final flourish is the three pearls stuck down the right hand side at the top.

Cards for Men - Challenge 10 - "Someone Special"

Good Morning everyone, yet another fortnight has gone by and here we are at our tenth Challenge and my fellow team member Sarah of http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/ has chosen the theme of "Someone Special" and this time we are being sponsered by Digital Delights.
And they are offering you a fabulous prize of 3 digital stamps of your own choice. And here is what they say about themselves:-

Welcome to Digital Delights, a magical place filled with my little digi creations from all walks of life. We have a wide range of digital stamps which are delivered straight to your email 24/7!! http://digitaldelightsbyloubyloo.com/

And here is my card for this Challenge:-
As team member we were given several images to play with and I chose this Teddy Bear one for my card, and have printed him onto white card then used my copic and tria pens to colour him, then I used a circle die from Nestabilities to cut him out and a larger one for the mount, I also used some glossy accents for the balloons. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as my image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with several papers from two Paper stacks Wild Roses for Men, and the Forever Friends, they went together so well that I felt they were the best choice. The first one is a white base with brown and blue checks on, the second is a blue check and the third a stripe, then for the last one is a brown and white check, a little different from the usual one. On top of this I positioned my mounted image with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have used three blue buttons of different sizes and some bakers twist threaded through the holes and knotted, these were stuck down the right hand side of my card at the top.
Now youve seen my card I do hope that you will pop across to Cards for Men Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talent Team Members have created for you, and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this fortnights challenge.
