Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well can you believe its almost Easter and the A Team decided we should get ahead with our Easter Cards so this weeks theme is all about creating a card for it.
But before I show you the card I have made you will want to know who is not only sponsoring us but also whose images we are using for this Challenge.
And they are offering you a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website and they have some really stunning images to play with this, and not only these but also printables and papers lots to choose from also they often have special offers to at really reasonable prices. But this is only if you have used one of their products on your card but even if you haven't they will still give you 3 digis of your own choice and you really cannot loose can you? Please can you remember you can enter three projects but at least one of them must carry one of products please.
And now to show the card I created for one of our granddaughters.
This little lady is titled "I am a Easter Bunny" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used the Nestabilitie Egg Die and cut her out and created a pink mount for her out of pink card. The sentiment was also stamped onto the smallest diecut and cut a slightly larger one out of pink card for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white one with a first mount out of pink card, the papers are from Sweetshoppe Designs Papers and I have used 5 of the papers and used a Martha Stewart bunny border punch on all but one of the layers and then stuck them across the base mount and then wrapped a white ribbon around and attached it to the back of the mount.
The mounted image was then placed towards the left and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner, to finish of I have used several of the novelty Easter buttons down the right side and along the bottom of my card.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Easter Time" Challenge.

As always our very generous sponsors are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. on their website, its amazing at how many more people are using our images and are winning the main prize so do please go and browse and see for yourself.
And now for my own card
And this little lady is called the "Winter Goddess" and you will find them here, I have printed her onto white card and then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a oval die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount our ot blue card, then I used some glitter on the snow on the branches of the tree and on the ground.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card, the papers I have used are from the same set "Winter Goddess" as the image and you will find them here. I then used some clear gems around the shape that is shown in the background and placed my mounted image in the center of it. I also stamped the sentiment onto some white card and cut it out with another of my dies, and cut a blue one to pop behind it.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration, and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Winter" themed Challenge.

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers and a Very Happy New Year, I sincerely hope you had a wonderful time and you were lucky to receive lots of fabulous crafty things. And over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot the A Team are starting this year with a challenge of "Shades of Blue" so for this we want to see lots of blue on your cards please, mind you it doesnt exclude hair and skin colour so if you can manage to use mainly blue that would be just fabulous.
But before I show you my card I know that you will want to know who our sponsors are for this weeks Challenge and as usual they are The Paper Shelter themselves and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30 spend on The Paper Shelter website
but this is providing you have used one of their products on your card and this could be a Image, Paper or Printable and you will find lots to choose from on their website and even if you dont use them they will still offer you 3 images of your own choice, so you really cannot loose can you? Please also remember you are allowed to enter three projects but one of these must carry one of our products please.
And now for the big reveal I hope you like the results
This little lady is called "Snowborder Girl" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut her out completely ready to stick her to the background and slightly raised it with mounting foam to give it more depth.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card, the paper as I said is also from "Snowborder Girl" and came separately to the image so I printed it onto paper and stuck it to the blue mount and used glitter on the snow to give it a bit of sparkle.
I also stamped a greeting in the top right hand corner, as you can see I sent it as a Xmas Card so I hope wont condemn me for using it for my first card of the year.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the girls have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Shades of Blue" Challenge.

This is a sad time over at ABC Challenges unfortunately Nikki has decided to close the Challenge Blog down because of personal things and this is our last Challenge and we have reached the letter "V is for Varied", but fortunately for this one we are being sponsored by Aurora Wings

The sentiment is one from my stash and has been been stamped and mounted as shown in the photo.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a backing paper from one of the Creative Expressions paper pads, and in two of the corners I have used a holly corner diecut and I then placed my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment underneath. I also diecut two holly branches and placed them down the right hand side.
Now that youve seen my Card I hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the Design Team has created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in our last "V is for Varied" Challenge and we look forward to seeing what you create for us.
