A Card for Sunday with Santa and Sugary Sunday's Colour Choice

Good Morning Everyone, this will be my last posted card for over a week, though I will be scheduling one for next Wednesday as I have my two grandsons coming on Saturday for a weeks holiday, and my eldest grandson will be getting married Saturday week (18th) so Im going to be banished from my craft room for just over a week and will be relying on my hubbys computer to deal with my emails and such forth. Anyway todays card is for this weeks two Facebook Challenges Sundays with Santa's "Ribbons and Charms" and Sugary Sunday's "Colour Choice" and Ive used the Funky Kits image, not sure of the name so please forgive me, Ive coloured it as the colour chart says
anyway I hope you think I have, Ive then used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.5 to cut it out then used the die to draw around to create the mount for it.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card, and for the first mount is a pink card then on top I have used one of Donna's brand new "Christmas Light" digi paper set, there are some gorgeous papers in this set and you should pop across to the Bearlymine Design Shop and see for yourself. I have then wrapped two ribbons around the middle and placed my mounted image towards the right. I then created a ribbon bow with two smaller ribbons and popped a Santa Charm on it, then stuck in the middle of the larger ribbon on the left hand side. The final flourish are the four dew drops stuck in the two corners on the left.

A Card for Several Challenges

Good Morning Crafters, or should I say Campers? wow wasnt it a hot one yesterday, this is how bad it was for our dog Missy
Im not sure what she thinks shes doing, but we found her like this several times yesterday, she doesnt normally sleep on her back with her legs in the air, but oh well I suppose when its hot you have to find away to cool your tummy.
Anyway todays card was created for this weeks Sugary Sunday and Sundays with Santa "Anything Goes" Challenges on Facebook, Ive also used the Sugar Bowl sketch so I can add it to that challenge as well. The image is Im not totally sure a Xmas one but felt it was near enough so Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels no.17 to cut it out and then drawn around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one of the LOV circle stamps and has been also mounted on a piece of the same green card as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and the papers I used are from Echo Parks "Holly Jolly Xmas" paper set, the first is a green background with white snowflakes on, the second is a strip of red and white spots and the third a sentiment paper which was stuck as the sketch required. The mounted image was then positioned towards the left and the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have used several punched out Martha Steward snowflake shapes which I have mounted up and popped a large pearl in the center of it and placed at the top on the right.

The Nineth Challenge for The Paper Shelter "A Sketch by Kevin"

Well yet another week has gone by and we have reached our Nineth Challenge a brilliant sketch by my fellow team mate Kevin of http://mccraftys-cards.blogspot.com/ and heres what he came up with.

Its a really easy sketch so Im sure you will be able to create a fabulous card with it, but before I start showing you what I have created for you I want to remind you to be able to win this fabulous voucher

you must use one of their images and you will find them here and believe me you will be surprised at how many you get for this amount they really are quite inexpensive. And they are always adding new images to their website not only that but also some really fabulous papers.
Heres my card for this Challenge

The image I have used for my card is called "Cockatoo Rules" and you find him here I printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used the Mega Curved Rectangle from Nestabilities to cut it out then used the die to draw around to create the mount. The sentiment is one I created on my computer then printed it out and cut it out with a circle die and a bigger one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of dark brown card with one of two papers from Donnas Bearlymine "For the Boys" design papers, the first one is a yellow and beige spots, and the second is yellow paper with a circle pattern on, this was laid down the card on top of the first mount.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle towards the top and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of Ive cut two corners with the Nellie Snellen dies and stuck them in the two opposite corners.
Now that youve seen my card I hope that you will now pop over to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for you and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this sketch Challenge.
