Its called "Bitty Christmas Tree Bears" and I have printed them on to white card and coloured it with my copic pens, afterwards I cut it out with my rotatrim and then mounted it onto a piece of red card. I also used some of the card to cut out the sentiment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, and the papers I have used are from Echo Park "Very Merry Christmas" paper pad. The first is a white background with snowman on, and the second is a green background with trees and snowflakes on it.
I then placed the mounted image in the middle with the sentiment down the right hand side. The last flourish is the Bell Banner thats been stuck across the top.

The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are from Echo Parks "Paradise Beach" paper pad, the first a sea and foam paper and the second full of surf boards and shell and I have cut a strip and used my border punch on it, on top of this is a red paper thats been mounted on another piece of blue card.
The mounted image was then placed on top towards the left with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. I then used some of the left over card and two Marianne shell dies to create the shells down the left hand side, I also put some yellow stickles on them to give the look of sand.

Challenge #24 - Cards for Men - "Merry Christmas"

Good Morning Everyone, well today over on Cards for Men we have a brand new Digi Designer and that is Andrew Walker, hes the husband of our Team Leader and Owner of Cards for Men and he was asked by Donna to start creating digi stamps for us to play with and now he has started his own website called "Scribbled Kidz" and you will find it here.

He is offering a fabulous prize of 3 digi images of winners choice.

Andrew has based all his designs on his young sons and I think you will be surprised at how fabulous they actually are, I do hope you will go and visit the website and see for yourself and hopefully you will be encouraged to buy some of them, as they are very reasonably priced to.
We were lucky enough to be given a few of the images to play with and I chose this one for my card.

This little lad is writing up his list for Santa so its titled "Dear Santa" and I have printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, then used my Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut him out then drew around the metal die to create the mount out of red card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and the papers I have used are from Echo Parks "Very Merry" Christmas papers, the first one a red background with white snowflakes on the second is a grid pattern and the third a newspaper item, I layered them on the base mount at angles.
I then positioned my mounted image in the center and cut out my sentiment with one of the new Britannia die from some of the red card and then positioned it across the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used three buttons and stuck them down the right hand side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and then maybe you to will take part in the "Merry Christmas" Challenge.

Challenge #23 - Cards for Men - "Anything Goes"

Good Morning Crafters, and happy Bonfire day to all those who are planning one today or later this week I hope the weather is kind to you, though the last weekend here has been extremely wet so no doubt the bonfire will have suffered. But back to todays Challenge, this fortnight we are being sponsored by:-

Kitty is offering a prize of :- £10 Gift Voucher

and this is what she says about her company:-

My Mums Craft Shop is a bricks & mortar and online store. We stock many of the leading brands and specialise in rubber stamping. We have brands including Some Odd Girl, Stamping Bella, My Favorite Things, CC Designs and many more. We also stock a large selection of Dienamics, Memory Box, Sizzix, CC Designs Marianne Dies. We constantly have new deliveries arriving, check out our website for more products - www.mymumscraftshop.co.uk

And the theme this time is a great favourite with everyone its "Anything Goes" so no excuse for getting out of this one, the only thing we ask is that the card is suitable for the male of the species so it can be for man or boy, and here is the card I made.

And the image I have used is a Saturated Canary one its called "Give Big Boy" and you will find it here, Ive printed him onto white card then used my favourite copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used Nestabilitie die No.8 to cut him out then used the metal die to draw around to create the mount for it. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount I have used blue card and the papers are from Echo Parks "Boys Life" paper pad, the first a blue background with airplanes, balloons and flags on, and for my second I have used a red background with letters on, and the third yet another blue background with racing cards on.
The mounted image was then placed at an angle with the sentiment underneath in the bottom left hand corner. To finish of I have used a Whimsey Flag die to create the corner in the top right.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and then I hope you will also take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge.

A Card for Several Challenges

Good Morning Crafters, or should I say Campers? wow wasnt it a hot one yesterday, this is how bad it was for our dog Missy
Im not sure what she thinks shes doing, but we found her like this several times yesterday, she doesnt normally sleep on her back with her legs in the air, but oh well I suppose when its hot you have to find away to cool your tummy.
Anyway todays card was created for this weeks Sugary Sunday and Sundays with Santa "Anything Goes" Challenges on Facebook, Ive also used the Sugar Bowl sketch so I can add it to that challenge as well. The image is Im not totally sure a Xmas one but felt it was near enough so Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels no.17 to cut it out and then drawn around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one of the LOV circle stamps and has been also mounted on a piece of the same green card as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and the papers I used are from Echo Parks "Holly Jolly Xmas" paper set, the first is a green background with white snowflakes on, the second is a strip of red and white spots and the third a sentiment paper which was stuck as the sketch required. The mounted image was then positioned towards the left and the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have used several punched out Martha Steward snowflake shapes which I have mounted up and popped a large pearl in the center of it and placed at the top on the right.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - "A Thank You" Card

Good Afternoon Everyone, well how about this two cards in one week I must be pushing my luck here, anyway heres a card forthis weeks LOV Challenge "Thank You" and Ive used this sweet image of a Teddy Bear with a flower and card, its one of the freebie images from one of the Craft Magazines. Ive coloured it with my promarkers and flex markers that turned up this morning, theyve certainly got nice nibs though not a lot of choice in the colours at the moment. Ive then cut it out with my rotatrim and mounted it onto a piece of green pearlescent card, the sentiment is one from my stash and this has been cut out with a small Go Kreate Tag Dies and mounted again onto a mount of the same card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my firstmount Ive used a bit more of the same green card and one of three papers from the Echo Park "Victoria Gardens" papers a pretty white paper with spiral flowers all over it in several different colours. I then used a green leaf paper on a white background and cut it into a 5" square then used my leaf corner and border punches from Martha Stewart, the last mount is a strip of yellow paper on top of a another piece of the same green card.
The mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the tag which has a piece of green seam binding popped through the hole and then stuck to the right hand side of the image. To finish of I created a flower with the new Die Namics flower and this was stuck to the card on top of some punched out green leaves in the top right hand corner.
