ABC Challenges - "H is for Hair"

Good Morning Crafters, well its my second Challenge as a Design Team member for the ABC Challenges and this time we have reached "H is for Hair" and I know this is one of those things a lot of us have difficulties getting right so now is the time to show us what you can do. Anyway this time we are being sponsored by Tilda's Town

http://www.tildastown.com/
And they are offering a fabulous prize of a Voucher to spend on their website.
And please do pay them a visit and see what fabulous goodies they have
and you will find them here

And I decided to use on of my stash stamps, to be honest its been awhile since they came out of the box so it was a real treat to use this one.

I stamped Tilda onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.4 to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of pink card.
The base card is a white 6"x 6" one and the first mount is more of the same pink card, and the papers I have used are from Dovecrafts "Garden Party" paper pad, and I have used three papers, the first a white background with flourish flowers and green leaves, on top are two more papers that were cut in stripes and then I have used a Tulip Border punch from Martha Stewart and then I layed the two papers on top of each other and stuck them down the middle of the card.
I then used the Tattered Lace rose corner in the bottom left hand corner and leaf corners in the top two corners. And now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for  your inspiration.

A card for the Sugary Sunday Facebook Challenge

Good Morning All, for this weeks Facebook Sugary Sunday "Distressing" challenge I needed to make a card and I thought you might like to see what I made. This image is one of the new Funky Kits new Country Cousins image, this one is called "Lei-la" and Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, I then used my rotatrim to cut her out and distressed the edges with my cats-eyes inkpads. The sentiment is one from my stash, I really should keep the names of the companies when I take them out of the package but I never seem to remember so sorry about that.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card, and the sketch I have used is this fortnights Sugar Bowl one, and the papers I have used are Dovecrafts handmade papers, the first one is a mulberry one in a soft beige colour, then on top I have used a piece of rose paper that I tore along the middle these where then stuck as the sketch shows.
I then positioned my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment at the top along the side. To finish of I have used more of the same mulberry paper and created two flowers with punches and a ball tool, they were then stuck to the card with punched out brown rose leaves.

Cards for Men - Challenge 23 - "Its nearly Christmas"

Good Morning Everyone, well would you believe it another two weeks have flown by and weve now reached our Twentythird Challenge and this ones theme is "Its nearly Christmas" and Im sure it will be a great favourite for you all especially as it only weeks till Christmas. Before I start I want to introduce you to the brand new DT members that have joined The Cards for Men team, and they are,

I do hope that you will visit their blogs and give them your support as we are thrilled at them joining us, only three of the members have taken part in this Challenge as Alan is away on holiday.
And now I want to tell you who our Sponser is for this Challenge and that is Karen Johnson of Karen's Doodles.

And here is what she says about her company:-

Karen Johnson has been drawing all of her life. She has worked on the feature film, “Ferngully The Last Rainforest” and has created animations for Disney, Fisher Price and Mattel. She has illustrated several children’s books and is currently teaching animation at a college in Wisconsin. She started Karen’s Doodles so she could share her whimsical drawings with crafters from around the world.

And she has offered 3 digi's to the winner.

We were lucky to receive several images to play with for this Challenge and I chose this one for my card, its called "Snowmen Caroling" you will find it here.
And I printed it onto white card then used my copic's and tria pens to colour it, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.17 to cut it out then used the die to cut around to create the mount for it out of blue card. The sentiment is one from my stash which I rather like and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and a first paper of three from the Dovecraft "Let it Snow" paper pad, this first paper is a white background with a large glittered snowman in the bottom left hand corner, the second and third papers have been cut in strips and I have used a Martha Stewart Border Snowflake embossing border punch along the edges and then layered up, these two papers are two shades of blue with snowflakes on.
I then positioned mounted image towards the top in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of Ive put a snowman button in the bottom left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blog and see what the rest of our very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will then take part in this "Its nearly Christmas" Challenge.

House Mouse Challenge Card - "Sketch"

Good Afternoon All, well the sun is out and it looks fabulous outside but guess what Ive been trying to get some cards made, Ive managed to get my DT card for Monday week done as me and the old man are of and away for a few days next weekend, firstly to visit Ally Palley and then secondly to see hubby daughters and granddaughters. I must be getting daft in my old age, I was so excited about the trip up to London that I completely forgot that from the 11th when we are due home late I have three days of DT cards to post, so I know that Monday's and Tuesdays will have to be scheduled or Im going to be running around like a chicken without a head, so I thought well get a move and get yourself organised and yes my cards are all done ready for me to get scheduling on Thursday before we go.
Anyway getting back to business todays card has been created for this weeks House Mouse Challenge, and this one is a sketch created by "Sue" and Ive used this rather podgy mouse who I believe has been stuffing himself on birthday cake for my image and I coloured him with my copic pens before cutting him out with my Nestabilitie Die No.17, I then drew around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and Ive popped a cupcake on the end and coloured that as well.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with two papers from the "Tea House" set from Dovecraft, the first paper is a all over pattern of cakes, cups of tea and hearts in a triangle pattern, on top of this is yet another paper with the same images but this time in a line. I then wrapped a pink ribbon around the middle and stuck it to the back of the first mount, I positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the left.
To finish of I used four roses of two different sizes and some punched out fern leaves, these were arranged in two opposite corners around the mounted image as the sketch demands.
