Have used the "Unforgettable" image and you will find it here, I printed it onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a oval die from Nestabilities to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of red card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of red card, the backing paper is also from the same design set as the Image and you will find it here, on to of this I have placed a hessian ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount, then placed my mounted image towards the left.
I then created a sentiment with the Tattered Lace die and hung it across the top and in the top right hand corner I placed a red and green ribbon bow and a rose embellishment on top.

The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of kraft card and I have used the backing paper that came with the "Monkeys" image and you will find them here, I then used a mixture of Cheery Lynn, Marianne and Tattered Lace dies to create the background of grass, leaves and monkeys and these were placed around the edges and the image was then stuck in the middle of the card and a sentiment was then stamped and mounted on a banner die across the top in the left hand corner.

A Card for the Aurora Wings "No Lines Challenge"

Good Morning fellow Crafters, it looks like another beautiful day again the sun is out and its still quite warm, our dog loves the early morning sunshine and here she is sitting by the back gate taking in the rays.
Mind you she always runs in to welcome me when I come down in the morning then runs outside yet again to enjoy it.
Todays card has been created with such a lot of difficulty I tried twice with the Fushia Sprite but the dark colours were difficult to lay without the lines they kept going over the edge and looked awful so in the bin they went, and I thought I would try something a little lighter and this "Dandelion" Sprite is the result.
I took her into My Craft Studio and faded out the lines printed it and coloured it with my copic pens, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.34 to cut it out and a Fancy one for the mount from the same Die shape our of green card.
The card is a 6.50"x 6.50" and the first mount is green card, the paper I created myself with Phil Martins "Dandelion Whispers" background stamp by using clear inkpad and details embossing powder and used the heat gun to set it, afterwards I used yellow mica powder and rubbed it all over the embossed background and rubbed of the excess.
I then stuck it to the base mount and cut a 5" square green card and with a Dandelion Embossing Folder from Crafters Companion Embossalicious range and ran it through my ebosser. I then placed this onto of the first layer and wrapped a piece of green net ribbon around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount. I then placed my mounted image in the center of the middle mount.
To finish of I diecut three Dandelions with the Tattered Lace Die and placed them around the mounted image in the center.

Aurora Wings "Butterfly" Challenge

Good Afternoon, well today has been beautiful I was wondering if it might happen as we had a fabulous lightening storm last night and I watched it through the living room window for quite awhile. Anyway the poor dog had a short walk this afternoon and found it just to much for her little feet so we cut it short and came home again so I could get this card finished.
I started it a week ago and didnt get very far as I had other things to sort out and as you can see I have put those behind and got on to finishing it, its one of the gorgeous Aurora Wings images and you will find her here, please do go and visit the website as she is such a talented lady and really does create beautiful images so you can play with them.
I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a Tonic die to cut her out and a scalloped one for the mount, the leaf border is yet another of the Tonic dies and I have placed it on top of the mounted image.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of lilac card and the paper is one from Nitwits and I have then placed on top and used a piece of the same lilac card and ran it through my ebosser with a butterfly embossing folder. And of course this is my favourite colour choice so I love to use it on my cards.
On top I have placed a strip of web ribbon and another of Satin and then tucked behind the first mount. I then stuck my image in the middle and the last flourish is the butterfly from Tattered Lace which I folded and stuck in the top left hand corner.

ABC Challenges - "H is for Hair"

Good Morning Crafters, well its my second Challenge as a Design Team member for the ABC Challenges and this time we have reached "H is for Hair" and I know this is one of those things a lot of us have difficulties getting right so now is the time to show us what you can do. Anyway this time we are being sponsored by Tilda's Town

http://www.tildastown.com/
And they are offering a fabulous prize of a Voucher to spend on their website.
And please do pay them a visit and see what fabulous goodies they have
and you will find them here

And I decided to use on of my stash stamps, to be honest its been awhile since they came out of the box so it was a real treat to use this one.

I stamped Tilda onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.4 to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of pink card.
The base card is a white 6"x 6" one and the first mount is more of the same pink card, and the papers I have used are from Dovecrafts "Garden Party" paper pad, and I have used three papers, the first a white background with flourish flowers and green leaves, on top are two more papers that were cut in stripes and then I have used a Tulip Border punch from Martha Stewart and then I layed the two papers on top of each other and stuck them down the middle of the card.
I then used the Tattered Lace rose corner in the bottom left hand corner and leaf corners in the top two corners. And now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for  your inspiration.

Aurora Wings Ballet Dancer

Good Morning Crafters, well its stopped raining for a couple of hours but we have been promised some more this afternoon, and I see its been flooding down on the Severn this morning and its cut of Gloucester for those living near it. Anyway I printed this image about a week ago and I just couldnt decide what colour to do her, as shes from Swan Lake, and of course they are all white so thats what I plumbed for. I have coloured the roses on her headress and down around her dress and then cut her out with my Grand Oval Die from Nestabilities and used a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is one I googled and then cut it out with a fancy tag die.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of white pearlescent card thats been put through my embossing folder and then I have used a fancy doily towards the top and die cut a swan with one of the Tattered Lace dies and placed them at the bottom on the left.
Around the middle I have wrapped a piece of crinkled white ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount and then placed my mounted image towards the right. The sentiment was placed at the bottom below the image. And to finish of I have used several pink roses and some punched out rose leaves to create a floral spray in the top left hand corner.

Challenge #23rd - "Merry Christmas" - Cards for Men

Good Morning All, well here we are again another Challenge over at Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and for this one we want to start to make our Christmas Cards and the theme is "Merry Christmas" and we are being sponsored by Scribbled Kidz the brainchild of our Blog Leaders husband Andrew.

http://scribbledkidz.weebly.com/
And is offering a fabulous prize of 3 images of winners choice.

And here is what they say about themselves:-

Scribbled Kidz is all about fun images largely inspired by my family and what they might get up to. They are all hand drawn originals scanned in at 300 dpi and saved as jpegs.   If you have any suggestions or special requests please let us know. Please pop along and see what we have to offer.

And we were lucky enough to be able to choose a image to play with and this is the one I chose.

This image is titled "Ho Ho Ho" and you will find it here, I printed the image onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterward I cut the image out completely and used a snow writer on the edges of the little santa's coat.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is a red card and the paper is from Do Crafts "Santa's Workshop" paper pad, this one is a all over house pattern. Then with a Tattered Lace Sleigh die I cut out the sledge with bronze mirri card.
This ws then placed towards the top and the image was placed below towards the right hand side, and to finish of I used a Simon Says Stamps stamp and banner, this was placed at the bottom on the right hand side. I used some of the bits that came out of the sledge die in the top two corners as they were to pretty to throw away.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Merry Christmas" Challenge.

Good Morning Crafters, well tomorrow Im of to Scotland for my eldest daughters Wedding on Saturday and this will be my last post for a few days, hopefully the weather will stay nice and dry and not to chilly as Ive already been warned, keep your fingers crossed.
Before I tell you again about our sponsors I must introduce you to our two new DT members and they are Anna and Eileen (who has joined us from Maries Team) and is unfortunately unable to join us for this first Challenge as shes away on holiday at the moment, and I do hope that you will pay a visit to both of their blogs and congratulation them on joining us and wishing them all the best during the time with us. Anyway this weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter the theme is "Shabby Chic" and as always our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a prize of $30.
But as always the rule is you must have used one of their products on your cards, that could be either a image, paper or printable and you will find them here with brand new images being uploaded often.
But even if you havent used one of their products they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, that is one generous offer dont you agree you really carnt loose with this Challenge.
And now for my Card here it is:-
For my card I have used "Adorable Miss Hall" you will find her here, I have printed her onto white card and I have coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut her out completely. The sentiment is one from my stash and this was then placed on a banner die cut from Memory Box.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pale green pearlescent card, then on top I have used the backing papers that came with the image and I have printed several pages and then layered them up, but before I actually did this I used a Tim Holtz distressing tool on the edges to distress them.
I then cut several leaf sprigs with the Tattered Lace die and placed them around the top of the top layer, and created a flower and placed it in the corner. The cut out image was then placed in the center of the top layer and the sentiment banner down below.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will also want to take part in this "Shabby Chic" Challenge.
