Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well we are now half way through the year can you believe it? and this weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is a card created from a the colours in this photo
And as always our sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30 to spend on their website
but this is only if you have used one of their products on your card and that could be either a Image, Paper or Printable and you will find them here on their website. But even if you do not use any of their products you will still receive 3 digi images of your own choice so you really cannot loose can you? Please dont forget that you are only allowed to enter our Challenges 3 times and at least one of the entries must have one of our products on it or they will be disallowed in the choice of a winner.
And here is the Card that I created for this Challenge, its a real fun one and I hope you like it as much as I do.
This image is called "Monkeys" for the obvious reason and you will find them here, and I printed it onto white card then used my copic pens on it to colour and then cut out completely by hand.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of kraft card and I have used the backing paper that came with the "Monkeys" image and you will find them here, I then used a mixture of Cheery Lynn, Marianne and Tattered Lace dies to create the background of grass, leaves and monkeys and these were placed around the edges and the image was then stuck in the middle of the card and a sentiment was then stamped and mounted on a banner die across the top in the left hand corner.
Now that I have shown you my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Photo Inspiration" Challenge.

A Card using the new Heartfelt Blazing Poppies Stamps and Dies
Good Morning Crafters, this is actually my third card using these gorgeous stamps and dies from Heartfelt designs, this latest set Blazing Poppies is one of my favourite sets. I created the flowers (shown at the top and either side of the vase) but stamping the image onto white card then coloured them with my inkpads, I then cut them out with the die that comes with these design set and formed the flowers and layered them up.
The vase and the flower behind it were complete stamps which I also stamped onto white card then used my copic pens to colour them both
afterwards I cut them out completely and in the centers of all the flowers I used a large black glitter and left them to dry.
The base card card is a 8"x 7.75" white card with a first mount out of red card and a second out of black, the backing paper is from the same design set as the poppies and has then been placed on top of the mounts.
I shaped the vase and the other cut out stamped piece and layered them up in the bottom left hand corner, I also placed two of the smaller poppies either side to created a bigger punch of flowers, and at the top of the paper there were a further two printed poppied and on top of these I placed the other 2 poppies that I created earlier. The final flourish is the sentiment also from the same design set cut it out and placed it on the pocket.

And here is the Card I created for this "L is for Lace" Challenge

I have used "Rhythm Everywhere" and you will find her here, I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I cut her out with the oval Nestabilitie Die and stuck blue lace all around the edge.
I then cut a mount out of blue card with a fancy Nestabilitie Oval Die and stuck my image on to. The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card the papers I have used are from "Sophie in the Country" digi paper set and you will find them here. I have used four of the papers and on three of the edges I have used the Martha Stewart Lace border punch and layered them up. I then laid a piece of spiderweb lace down the card and wrapped a piece of blue satin ribbon on top and attached them to the back of the first mount.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "L is for Lace" Challenge.

Good Morning Crafters, each week over on Facebooks Sundays with Santa we host a challenge for a Christmas Card and last weeks one was to create a Card for a Child. And as Im on the Pink Gem Designs Design Team I am lucky to be able to use any of Janets stunning images and designs to play with, and this one is from a new set of Toppers that she has just released for this Christmas coming
As you can see there are a lot to choose from, I printed the able image "Barclay Bear" onto photo paper, and then cut out the background and mounted it onto a piece of blue card. The Bear himself I cut out and then decoupaged him onto the main image on the background. I layered up the flowers in the three corners and the sentiment in the top right hand corner.

ABC Challenges - "I is for Inspire"
Good Morning Crafters, another new month has arrived and can you believe that we are just a month away from half the year flying by, and this time the theme for ABC Challenge Blogspot is "I is for Inspire" and the sponsor for this Challenge is Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $20. to spend on their website.
And as Im on their Design Team I was able to choose any image to play with, so for me it was this one as it would certainly inspire me (if I could sing).
I printed the image onto white card and coloured her with my copics, oh I forgot to say she is called "Music Star" and you will find her here, afterwards I used my retangle Nestabilitie die to cut her out, and a fancy one for the mount out of mauve card.
The Backing Paper is also from the same design set and you will find it here. I placed my mounted image towards the left and placed six mauve pearls in the top right and bottom left hand corners, the sentiment was one I found on the internet and I printed it and then mounted this also onto a piece of mauve card.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this "I is for Inspire" Challenge.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

Challenge #201 - "Love is in the Air" - The Paper Shelter
Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, do you know I almost forgot to write this post up, that wouldnt do as a Team Leader you would think I would have things well organized but it seems Im not at my best at the moment, it was probably because I had problems with a tooth root on Saturday and completely forgot to write it up. Anyway here I am the weather is sunny but extremely cold I do hope we are going forwards with the Spring Weather and not backwards as its only a couple of days away from the 1st of May, and last week I discovered that my second great grandchild thats due in September is another little boy, so I am looking forward to meeting him when the time comes.
Anyway back to todays Challenge its all about "Love is in the Air" and I always thing Spring is probably the best time of the year for this so I do hope its coming your way to. And as always our sponsors for this Challenge are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter
and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website but this is providing you have used one of their products and that could be either a Image, Backing Paper or even a Printable, but even if you have not they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice to play with. So you really cannot loose can you? And the choice on their website The Paper Shelter is amazing they are always updating their library so the choices as fabulous and the price of them is really good to.
And now for the reveal of my card.
This sweet image is called "True Love" and you will find it here, I have printed it onto white card then coloured it with my copic pens, afterwards I used a large circle die to cut it out and then layered it up on a large pink circle as a mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of pink card, the backing paper I have used is also from the same design set as the image and you will find it here, it can be printed on its own without the image and thats what I have done. I then placed a heart doily in the center and I then stuck my mounted image in the middle.
To finish of I have used several roses of different sizes and created a floral spray in the top left hand corner, and the final flourish are the 9 pink pearls arranged in the other 3 corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for this weeks "Love is in the Air" Challenge and I sincerely hope it will inspire you to take part in it to.
