Challenge #21 - "Halloween" - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Crafters well this fortnights Challenge over on Cards for Men is being sponsored by my favourite company The Paper Shelter and this time its all about "Halloween" and if you like me you have several little ones you like to send cards to so now is your chance to get ahead of the date and use your Halloween stamps to create a card.
As I said we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter

And they are offering a fabulous prize of :- $20 Gift Certificate
And this is what they say about themselves:-

If you are looking for fun, cute and lovely digi stamps for your paper-crafting or web design projects, The Paper Shelter is your one-stop boutique! This growing catalog of high-quality digi stamps with many different kind of options offers a multitude of themes such as everyday items, holidays, special occasions, children, adorable characters and creatures. Stamps are available in standard black and white line art, as well as in pre-colored format.Images are wonderful for coloring and make perfect additions to greeting cards and scrapbook albums.

And as I work with The Paper Shelter I was lucky enough to be able to choose any of the image to play with and for a change I used this one for the first time.

This is the "Little Apprentice" and you will find him here, and he does remind me of Disney's The Apprentice where Mickey Mouse does awful things with the Magicians things, anyway I have printed him onto white card then coloured him with my copic pens, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.1 and a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and this has been stamped also onto white card then mounted onto black card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of black card, and the papers are from some scrapes I had left in my stash and they are a mixture of black, beige with has had the edges torn and purple with spirals on it.
On top of this I have cut and placed a spiders web from Memory Box in the top left hand corner and dangled a spider from this also a Memory Box die. The mounted image was then placed in the center towards the top, then down the right I have used ghosts also another of the Memory Box dies, then at the bottom I have placed my sentiment.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented design team have created for your inspiration and then take part in this "Halloween" Challenge.

Challenge #65 - Bearlymine Designs - "Anything Goes"

Good Morning Crafters, not long to go to the big day now and I hope that your preparations are well in hand, and of course we crafters are still making Christmas cards and Ive decided if I have any left they will go away for next year. Todays Challenge here at The Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot is "Anything Goes" and we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and they are generously,

And here is my card.

I decided to use this gorgeous image "Cookies for Santa" you will find her here, and I printed her onto white card then using my copic pens I have coloured her, then used a Christmas Tree Nestabilitie die to cut her out, I then used the die to draw around to create the mount for it. The sentiment is one from my stash and I have printed it onto white card then mounted it onto blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and the papers I have used are Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Pastel Christmas" digi papers and you will find them here, and I have used for my first paper a blue background with white snowflakes on, the second is a blue background with sentiment on I cut this into a square and used Martha Stewart Border and Corner punches on it, then placed it in the center of the first mount. I then wrapped a piece of webbing around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount. For the diecuts I used pearlescent card and several Marianne Christmas tree and fern dies and cut out several different sizes and placed them in the left and top right corners, I then placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the right.
I do hope that now youve seen my card you will go and visit The Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge.

The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the mount.
The card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are from "Bewitched Night" and you will find them here, they are all based on a blue background, and the second paper I cut two stripes of paper and used my Martha Stewart Lace border punch on them then layered them up below the second mount and put my mounted image in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of I used some more of the papers and the die-namic rolled flower dies to create the flowers in the top left hand corner, these were attached to the card with some silicone glue and punched out leaves. Good Morning Crafters, I dont know where the time goes the weeks are whizzing by and Ive no doubt most of the children have gone back to School this week after the long summer holiday, not that its been a very nice one as far as the weather has gone. Anyway to cheer you up its yet another challenge over on the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot, and for this we want to see "Anything but a Card" so I do hope you will get your thinking caps on a start creating some stunning projects.

To spend on their website, and if I was wearing my other hat I would be tell you that these images are quite stunning and extremely good value, so its worth a trip just to browse and you will find it here.
And now for my project I created this box.

And for my papers I have used a Donna's beautiful "Roses Dream" and you will find them here, I printed two sheets and used one for around the sides, and the top I used the other one. I then attached the lace around the edge of the top by pleating it along some strong glue tape, and on top I used a velvet ribbon and tied the ends into a bow in the front.
The image I have used is The Paper Shelters "Dew Drops" and you will her here, I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, then used a large tag die to cut her out and then distressed the edge with some a lilac inkpad.
I then positioned it on the top and created a flower spray in the top right hand corner with some flowers in several sizes. I also created some smaller images to pop around the edge of the bottom of the box.
Now that youve seen my project I do hope you will pop across to the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you also will take part in this "Anything but a Card" Challenge.
