This little lady is "Attitude is Everything" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a Memory Box die to cut her out and the Snowflake over lay out of white pearlescent card for the top.
For the card I used a 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the first mount is out of blue card and the papers are from "Winter Breeze" digi paper set and you will find them here, I have used one base paper on top I have used a square of white car and two corner dies to create the snowflake corners. I then placed my mounted image in the middle.

Challenge #147 - "Animal Magic" - The Paper Shelter
Good Morning Crafters, well its almost March and so far weve seen so much rain Im beginning to wonder if we will ever had decent weather again, my bulbs are beginning to show and even some buds so at least I should be getting some colour soon. Anyway we have another Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and this one is themed "Animal Magic" and we want to see what you can create with animals as your main image, so Im so looking forward to seeing what the entries will be like.
Anyway Im getting ahead of myself and you will want to know what fabulous prize Veronica and Pedro are offering and that is $30.
But this is only if you have used one of their products on your card, this could be a image, paper or printable and they do have some on special offer as well, so its well worth a visit to their website here The Paper Shelter. Ive printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him afterward I used Embossing Folder to print the edge around him then cut it out with scissors to create the scalloped edge. This was then placed on a green Oval Nestabilitie Die background. The sentiment is one from my stash thats been also mounted on the same green card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and the papers are from the Pollyanna Pickering CD from Cupcake Crafting and I have used two of them, one has a hedgehog print on it and the second has a smaller on on and I have used a border punch on this, then on top is another mount of green with a check pattern on which has been placed down the card.
I then used a Memory Box die to create the two dark green trellis's and these were stuck across the top and bottom, then the mounted image was placed in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the A Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Animal Magic" theme Challenge.
And do please come back on Saturday as I have some very exciting news for you and look forward to letting you into the secret.

On top of this I have placed a diecut Fir tree which was cut with Marianne Die, and a used a Memory box border die of trees along the bottom.

To finish of I have cut out the ski's and sticks with a Marianne Die and placed to the right of the main image, the final flourish is the two layered snowflake at the top on the right and the sentiment on the left.

Anyway it wont do to carry on I must write up my post so here we go, this week over on The Paper Shelter its all about "Wrapping Up" originally when I picked this theme it was supposed to be about wrapping up against the cold but a lot of the team saw it as something else and have gone with it so I will leave the interpretation up to you.

Then I used more of the pearlescent card and die cut two landscape backgrounds and then placed them at the back of the card towards the top, then I placed my cut out image on the left handside and then I cut the ski's and poles (not sure of the official name for them never having skied) and placed the two ski's against the left handside and the poles are stuck in the snow with the sentiment towards the right handside. To finish of I have punched out a snowflake and placed it in the ski.

The sentiment is from my stash and has been stuck on a banner die.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, and the paper I have used is from Bearlymine Designs its one of her Christmas designs. I then used Memory Box dies to create the border and corners and I have used white pearlescent card. The mounted image was then placed in the center and the sentiment was placed across the bottom right hand corner.

Challenge #135 - "Halloween" - The Paper Shelter
Good Morning Everyone, well its only a day away from Halloween and we decided we would again have this as this weeks theme so I do hope that you are not all Halloweened out just yet and to add to it I have actually created two cards for you to see. I stupidly made one then made another later thinking that I had not done so, well now you will decide which one you like the best or at least enjoy them both.
As always our sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.
But as always we expect you to use on of their products on your card, but even if you dont you will still be eligable to 3 digi images of your own choice, but if your quick you can still get hold of one of their Halloween images at a reduced prize as they have a sale on at the moment and you will find them here, so do go and visit their website and see for yourself what stunning images they have on offer and treat yourself while you can at a brilliant price.
And now to show you what I have been upto, as I said I have two cards to show you, I do hope you like them.
For the papers I used for the top card "Happy Holigans" from Nitwits and I also used Nestabilitie Pumpkin Die for the mounts and Die-namics Pumpkin dies and stamps for the die cuts, I also used a Martha Stewart pumpkin border punch on one of the papers. I also used some Halloween charms around the mount.

This is the "Halloween Spirit" and you will find her here
And this is "Incantation" and you will find her here
For the papers I used for the top card "Happy Holigans" from Nitwits and I also used Nestabilitie Pumpkin Die for the mounts and Die-namics Pumpkin dies and stamps for the die cuts, I also used a Martha Stewart pumpkin border punch on one of the papers. I also used some Halloween charms around the mount.
For the second Card I have used Sweetshoppe papers I cant remember which ones as they were some that I have left in my stash which I thought went well with my image. I have used Nestabilitie dies to cut her out and mount her, a Memory Box Spider corner and Spider. I have also used some more Halloween charms to add around the image. The sentiment is one from my stash, I should also say that around the edges I have distressed it with the Tim Holtz distressing tool.

Challenge #21 - "Halloween" - The Paper Shelter
As I said we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter
And they are offering a fabulous prize of :- $20 Gift Certificate
And this is what they say about themselves:-
If
you are looking for fun, cute and lovely digi stamps for your
paper-crafting or web design projects, The Paper Shelter is

with many different kind of options offers a multitude of themes such
as everyday items, holidays, special occasions, children, adorable
characters and creatures. Stamps are available in standard black and
white line art, as well as in pre-colored format.Images are wonderful for coloring and make perfect additions to greeting cards and scrapbook albums.
And as I work with The Paper Shelter I was lucky enough to be able to choose any of the image to play with and for a change I used this one for the first time.
This is the "Little Apprentice" and you will find him here, and he does remind me of Disney's The Apprentice where Mickey Mouse does awful things with the Magicians things, anyway I have printed him onto white card then coloured him with my copic pens, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.1 and a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and this has been stamped also onto white card then mounted onto black card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of black card, and the papers are from some scrapes I had left in my stash and they are a mixture of black, beige with has had the edges torn and purple with spirals on it.
On top of this I have cut and placed a spiders web from Memory Box in the top left hand corner and dangled a spider from this also a Memory Box die. The mounted image was then placed in the center towards the top, then down the right I have used ghosts also another of the Memory Box dies, then at the bottom I have placed my sentiment.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented design team have created for your inspiration and then take part in this "Halloween" Challenge.

And here is what they say about themselves:-
Everything
That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if
raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a
challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little
Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full
of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies
in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary
sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy
spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper
projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every
week!
If your
taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps stamps at Totally
Stampalicious. And
finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.
And here is the card I created for this Challenge.
I have used the Bugaboo "Witch Cat" this may be a old image thats been discontinued as I was unable to find it on their website, but I felt it was just right for my card as I know children love anything with spiders and cats, or at least my grandchildren do.
Ive printed the image onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I used the Memory box die to cut it out and inked around the edge, then used the Spider corner also from Memory box to use as a overlay.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the papers I have used are from The Paper Shelters "Studies of a Witch" digi paper set, the first a deep purple and the second a paler one on which I have used a Martha Steward spiderweb border punch, then on top of this is a orage one which has been placed on black card. These were all layered up on a black first mount.
The the mounted image was placed towards the left and then I have punched out Memory Box bats in several sizes and a spider which I hung from the corner spider web, and the final flourish is the spider charm in the bottom left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration.

And now to show you what Ive been up to.
The image I have used is "Fairy Tea Time" and you will find her here, and I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut her out and a decorative one for the mount out of blue card. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are from The Paper Shelters "Lovely Bug" digi paper set and you will find it here. I have used two of them the first is a butterfly one then on top is a strip down the card which has ladybugs on it.
The mounted image was placed towards the top in the center, and then along the bottom I have stuck a teapot border from Cottage Cuts, and the tree border down the right is another of their dies. The butterfly at the top is a Memory Box one, the sentiment was then placed under the image towards the right.

and they are offering a equally fabulous prize
And to create my card for this Challenge I chose to use one of the Alota Digi Images, and here she is.
Because the images come as a SVG image I had to get my husband to convert it to a JPG for me, then I printed her of onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a large oval die to cut her out. The mount I have used is one of the Cheery Lynn Dies, and the sentiment is one from my stash that I have stamped onto another piece of white card and then mounted it onto a piece of pink card.
The main card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card and the papers I have used are from Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Spring Mist" for the first mount and then I have used one from the "Floral Dreams" white I cut into a square and used my border and corner punches from Martha Stewart, this was placed in the middle of the first mount.
The house is one of the Memory Box dies I have also used some of the left over pink card for the roof and the window and its box. The fence is yet another of the dies as is the leaf thats been down the left side, to finish of I have used some some buttons as flowers and popped some glitter glue in the centres.
