My first Magnolia Card for many a month

Good Afternoon Crafters, its been awhile since Ive created a Magnolia card and I thought I ought to remedy this, and here it is. I do hope that you are enjoying your Bank Holiday Monday, the sun is out and its quite warm outside, the dog and hubby have been for a lovely walk this afternoon and now the dog is flaked out on our bed.
So I thought I would post this card, its one of the new Stamp Club images and Ive stamped it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards Ive used a oval Nestabilitie Die to cut it out and a fancy one for the mount with a piece of pink card. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been also stamped onto white card and Ive used one of the framed tags for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the paper is a beautiful pink background with a oldie worldie pattern on it, and then on top I have used a square doily that I have inked with some of the same pink inkpad as Ive used around the image.
Across the middle I have wrapped a piece of lace and then pleated a pink ribbon across the top. I then placed the mounted image in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of I have used several roses of different size and then placed them in the top left hand corner and these were attached to the card with silicone glue and some punched out rose leaves.

A Card for Sundays with Santa

Good Evening Crafters, well its been awhile since I used one of my Magnolia stamps but thought as its a Anything Goes Challenge over on Sundays with Santa on Facebook I would give this Tilda image a outing, Ive stamped her onto white card then used a mask to cover her and then stamped the I Love You stamp under her, removed the mask then coloured it with my copic pens. I then used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.17 to cut her out, I then drew around the die to create the mount for her out of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the papers I have used are Lili of the Valleys "Nitwit" papers, the first a snowfall one on a blue background, the second is a white background with pale blue snowflakes on I have used a snowflake border punch from Martha Stewart, then for my last mount I used a sentiment paper and cut a strip and mounted this onto another piece of the blue card.
The mounted image was then placed in the center towards the top and the sentiment below on the right.
To finish of I created two snowflakes and layered them up from several punched out piece glittered the top and put them across the left hand bottom corner.

The sentiment is one from Waltzing Mouse Stamps and I have used two together to create the image and then mounted it onto brown card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the papers I have used are from Donna's "Designer Extreme Cd.1" you will find it here, and I have chosen papers with the colours required for this Challenge, the first paper is a orange one with darker spots on, the second is a red background with leaves on and the third a green with yet further leaves on. I also used a forth paper in dark green and cut it into a 5" square and then used my Martha Stewart leaf border and corner punches on it, this was placed on top of the first paper.
I layered the mounts as shown and to finish of I have cut with my leaf Nestabilitie dies and then used a inkpad to distress the insides to show the veins.

A Card for Magnolia Challenges

Good Afternoon All, well the sun is out and theres a lovely breeze here in Gloucestershire, mind you its still hot and our dog is feeling it just as much. Anyway todays card has been made for this weeks Magnolia "In the Country" Challenge and any other one I can find. Ive used this sweet Tilda image carrying a bunch of flowers, not sure what they are meant to be, probably hellibores but I wouldnt depend on that. Ive coloured it with my copics then cut it out with my square Nestabilitie Die, then used with some lilac card a Heart Square from Spellbinders. The sentiment is one from my stash and has also been mounted on some lilac card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card, but Ive also cut a 8" square then used the larger Martha Stewart Border and Corner punches to create a mount for the smaller one, the papers I have used are from Nitwits "Oh the Possibilities" digi paper set. Its all shades of pink and lilac and Ive used several papers, the main one under the mount is one with lilac punches on and the rest I used on the rolled flower in the top left hand corner.
Ive used a large piece of Cobweb ribbon around the card, then on top I have placed a lavender satin ribbon which was attached to the back of the first mount, I then cut a Cheery Lynn doily and tucked it under the ribbon in the bottom left hand corner. The mounted image was then positioned to the right and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. Ive also cut a flower with a Memory Box die and this was stuck in the bottom left hand corner. To finish of Ive used several of the left over papers to create the rolled flower in the top left corner and this was stuck to the card with some punched out leaves on some silicone glue.

A Card for Many Challenges

Good Morning Everyone, hope that you are all enjoying yet another holiday weekend, the sun is trying very hard to come out and Im hoping to get out for a walk after dinner. Anyway todays card is to cover several Magnolia Challenges, Magnolia Stamp Lovers "Flowers", Totally Tilda's "Paper Piecing", Magnolia Down Unders "Lace and Ribbons", Dutch Magnolia's "Mothers Day" and Just Magnolia's "Buttons, Bows and Bling" and hopefully with what Ive got here will cover everything. Ive used this sweet image of Tilda with a butterfly, and coloured the base of it with my Copic and Tria pens, and then Ive used two papers from the Hideaway Paper Pack from First Edition and they are two papers with the same pattern but with opposite colouring the first a green with white flowers, and then white with green flowers, they were then stamped and cut out the relevant pieces and stuck them to my image, afterwards Ive used the Oval Nestabilitie die to cut her out, I also used some glitter on the butterflies. I used some of the same green pearlescent card to cut a mount of a scalloped die and the sentiment is yet another of the Magnolia stamps thats been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is 6"x 6" white card with the first mount of green pearlescent card with one of two of the same paper set, this first one is a all over white background with stripes of different colours and patterns across the paper, on top I have put a single strip mount with a piece of the same green flower paper that I used for her skirt.

I have then created some flowers with yet another piece of the same paper pack and a bit of the green for the middle flower, I used the Marianne flower dies for this, and stuck them onto my card with some silicone glue on top of some punched out oak leaves. The two buttons on the right have had threaded through the holes some fine ribbon and tied in bows, and the final bow is a triple seam binding one thats been stuck at the side of my image.

A Card for Several Challenges

Good Morning Everyone, and a Very Happy Easter I do hope that you are so far enjoying the long weekend and the weather, though it did go cloudy at times yesterday and chilly but at least the sun is up and the sky is clear and blue so lets hope todays weather is better. Ive got a tale to tell you, yesterday we had a racing pigeon drop down in our back garden he probably thought that our shed was his loft. anyway I tried to catch him but he ran and hid behind some of my potplants and he did look so tired so I asked my hubby to find the wild bird food and some water and we would see how he got on. Anyway later on I went out into the garden and he was wondering around and eventually I managed to catch him, I then called hubby to bring some paper and a pen to take down the numbers on the ring which he did, then he had to run around to find a box to pop him in, we then left him in the box in the shed while I went to find a local pigeon racer for help. Luckily he said that he would take it and rest it and hopefully let it of home when it was better. When we got back home hubby told me that the number on the ring was a French one and he obvilously flown well of his  route just hope he manages after a rest to find his way home or perhaps the club will sent him by mail back to France.
Well now youve heard my story of yesterdays doings, I also want to thank all you lovely people who liked my Carnival card from yesterday I had this vision in my head and I just hoped that when I managed to get in onto the card it would look good, and on the whole it turned out well so thank you again for the lovely comments you left me. Well todays card has been created firstly for three Challenges but if I find some more I will add them later, the first Challenge is for Totally PaperCrafts "Weddings", then Stampin for the Weekend "Weddings" and finally Just Magnolia's "Sketch", Ive stamped Tilda and Edwin onto white card then used my Copic and Tria pens to colour them, then used a circle Nestabilitie die to cut them out and the brand new heart circle for the mount. Ive discovered from experience this die doesnt work to well in the Cuttlebug it works better with the Grand Calibur. The sentiment is one from my stash.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and a first mount of pink pearlescent card and Ive used one of two papers from the "Confetti" paper pack from Papermania, the first paper is a pretty white background with butterflies on, for my second mount Ive used a confetti type one thats on a white background to, the third mount is a piece of the same pink card thats been run through my Cuttlebug with a small heart embossing folder.
I positioned my image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, I then stuck three pink pearls down the two opposite corners and created a flower spray with several sizes of roses in the top left hand corner and stuck them to my card with silicone glue with punched out fern and rose leaves.

"Sundays with Santa" - Easel Card

Good Morning Ladies, well its not really here in Gloucestershire its absolutely throwing it down, hubby did say yesterday we were in for some heavy rain and he wasnt wrong as its been raining since about 12 oclock last night its such a shame as yesterday was gorgeous and mild, but there you are the English weather has us all beat and will do its own thing.
Anyway todays card has been created for Pops "Sunday's with Santa" challenge and this week it was my turn to decide what the theme was and I chose Easel card. I was intriqued by Lorraine's double easel card she created this week and wanted to know if I could make one to, and guess what its easier than you think instead of folding the front piece across the middle you fold it corner to corner and bobs your uncle, the only thing youve got to remember is when you fold it back down flat you dont force it as has to turn to lay flat again the other piece.
Anyway Ive used this image of Edwin on his sledge and coloured it again with my copic pens, after which I cut him out with my rotatrim, the mount is white pearlescent card, the sentiment is one of the whimsey seal ones thats been stamped and cut out with a circle die then mounted on a scalloped one.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with two first mounts of white pearlescent card and one of two papers from the Nitwit Downloads, the first a white paper with coloured snowflakes on, and the second a red strip with a similar snowflake design, across the middle Ive wrapped a red and holly ribbon around and attached it to the back of the first mount, Ive then stuck both these base layers to my card base, and my mounted image in the centre of the top one and the sentiment in the middle of the base one.
I do hope that if youd like to start making a stash of Christmas cards ready for this year its a good idea to join out present team of girls even if you only come a couple of times a month youd soon start to have a pile of them by December. I should also say theres no prize so you not in competition with any one its just a bit of fun.
This card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
