Good Morning Crafters, well yet its another week passed and we have a brand new Challenge over on The Paper Shelter its themed "Shopping Spree" and its caused quite a few problems with the Team to find appropriate images for it and you will find the rest of the girls have been very inventive with theirs. But before I show you what Ive created I have some fabulous news for you, we have two new members joining the A Team and that is Angela who has taken the place of Janie who unfortunately had to stand down last week as she has some family problems she wants to spend time over, and we were lucky to have Angela already on the Team as she wasnt officially suppose to start until January and will now start straight away, and now we have yet another new Team member to and that is Anne and she will be taking Louise's place come January but as Judith is unable to join us this week she is standing in for her, and Im sure you will see her joining in other Challenges before she starts officially. Its a bit complicated but I hope you understand and give the girls the welcome they deserve.
And now back to this weeks Challenge and as always our very generous sponsors and stunning owners and creators are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.
But as always this comes with the rule that you must have used one of their images, papers or printables on your card, and even if you havent they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, so you really cant loose can you. Dont forget to pay a visit to The Paper Shelter website and see for yourself what brilliant value they are and you will find it here.
And now for my Card.
I have used "Shopping Girl" for my image and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, then used Nestabilitie Die Labels 8 to cut her out and the fancy one for the mount out of pink card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, the papers are from the Papermania "Born to Shop" and I have used three of the papers, the first a white background with hearts on, the second is a pink and white stripe one and I have used a Martha Stewart heart border punch on both edges and placed it on the first layer, then the third is a fun paper with flying handbags on a white background which was mounted on another piece of pink card.
The mounted image was then placed in the center towards the top and the sentiment was placed on a banner die across the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used the left over papers to create three flowers with a Die-namics rolled flower dies and placed them in the top left hand corner on top of some punched out leaves. The final flourish are the gems in the two opposite corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration.

Good Morning, yet another fortnight has flown by and we have reached our fifth Challenge at Cards for Men, and for this one we have a sketch for you to follow:-
And we are being sponsered this time by Digital Delights,
And they are very generously offering a $5. Gift Voucher to spend in on their website.

Ive printed the image onto white card then used my copic's to colour it, and cut it out with the Nestabilitie Rectangle Die, and then used a larger one for the mount. I then used a pen to create a stitched edge on it. The sentiment was created on the computer and printed out and mounted in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 7"x 5" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used are from the Papermania "For Men" paper set, the first one being a red patterned paper then on top is a check on. I then positioned my mounted in the centre and the sentiment below. To finish of Ive used three red buttons with some bakers twine threaded through the holes and tied in a knot.

Good Morning Everyone, yes another fortnight has flown by and we have now reached our twenty fourth Challenge for Cards for Men, and this time we want to see your "Fancy Folds" and there are certainly a lot to choose from so I will leave your choice up to you.
This time we are being sponsored by a new company and that is "Whimsie Doodles"
And here is what Melyssa says about her Company :-
And they are offering as a prize a $10 Gift Certificate to spend on their Website.
We were lucky enough to be given several gorgeous images to play with and I chose these ones for my DT Card.
The little lad is called "Hoodie Jayson" and I thought that the sentiment went quite well with him so I chose to use that to, the acutal card shape is one that I invented myself its a sort of triple fold and its based around a 6"x 6" card base, the papers I used are Papermania's "For Him" paper pad.
The main image was printed onto white card and I then coloured him with my copics and tria pens, then I used the large Rectangle Nestabilitie Die to cut him out, and then drew around the die onto blue card to create the mount for him. The sentiment was done in the same way. The last flourish is the computer button that was attached to the middle fold.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pop across to the Cards for Men Blogspot and see what the rest of my fellow Design Team Members have created with this "Fancy Folds" Challenge.

A Card for Several Challenges
Good Morning Everyone, and a Very Happy Easter I do hope that you are so far enjoying the long weekend and the weather, though it did go cloudy at times yesterday and chilly but at least the sun is up and the sky is clear and blue so lets hope todays weather is better. Ive got a tale to tell you, yesterday we had a racing pigeon drop down in our back garden he probably thought that our shed was his loft. anyway I tried to catch him but he ran and hid behind some of my potplants and he did look so tired so I asked my hubby to find the wild bird food and some water and we would see how he got on. Anyway later on I went out into the garden and he was wondering around and eventually I managed to catch him, I then called hubby to bring some paper and a pen to take down the numbers on the ring which he did, then he had to run around to find a box to pop him in, we then left him in the box in the shed while I went to find a local pigeon racer for help. Luckily he said that he would take it and rest it and hopefully let it of home when it was better. When we got back home hubby told me that the number on the ring was a French one and he obvilously flown well of his route just hope he manages after a rest to find his way home or perhaps the club will sent him by mail back to France.
Well now youve heard my story of yesterdays doings, I also want to thank all you lovely people who liked my Carnival card from yesterday I had this vision in my head and I just hoped that when I managed to get in onto the card it would look good, and on the whole it turned out well so thank you again for the lovely comments you left me. Well todays card has been created firstly for three Challenges but if I find some more I will add them later, the first Challenge is for Totally PaperCrafts "Weddings", then Stampin for the Weekend "Weddings" and finally Just Magnolia's "Sketch", Ive stamped Tilda and Edwin onto white card then used my Copic and Tria pens to colour them, then used a circle Nestabilitie die to cut them out and the brand new heart circle for the mount. Ive discovered from experience this die doesnt work to well in the Cuttlebug it works better with the Grand Calibur. The sentiment is one from my stash.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and a first mount of pink pearlescent card and Ive used one of two papers from the "Confetti" paper pack from Papermania, the first paper is a pretty white background with butterflies on, for my second mount Ive used a confetti type one thats on a white background to, the third mount is a piece of the same pink card thats been run through my Cuttlebug with a small heart embossing folder.
I positioned my image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, I then stuck three pink pearls down the two opposite corners and created a flower spray with several sizes of roses in the top left hand corner and stuck them to my card with silicone glue with punched out fern and rose leaves.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

A Card for Just Magnolia and Totally Papercrafts Challenges
Good Afternoon All, well you can say it yes I know Im late again and if I start giving you excuses you will wonder why, anyway I wont and just get on with my post. This card has been created for two challenges the Just Magnolia's "Mina's Sketch" and the Totally Tilda's "How does your Garden Grow" Challenge, and Ive used this sweet Tilda image and coloured her with my copic pens, after which I cut her out with the Mega Rectangle Nestabilite Die and used the scalloped edged one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash its one of the Flourishes stamps, they are a American company and make some really lovely flower stamps.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of lavendar pearlescent card, with one of two papers from the Papermania Spring Time papers, and the first paper is a pretty mauve background with white and yellow flowers and scrolls on, the second mount is another mauve background but this has pink and white flowers on it. Then Ive positioned a circle of mauve pearlescent card which has been but through my cuttlebug and embossed with a folder, this has been stuck in the centre. Across the bottom and edge Ive used mauve satin ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then positioned my sentiment across the cross of the ribbons though I see its swivelled around a bit as its dried, the mounted image was then stuck in the middle and to finish of Ive created a flower spray with several sized roses at the top on the left with some punched out leaves, these were attached with some silicone glue.

An Anniversary Card
Good Evening All, Im so sorry to be so late today I have been busy again, and have actually managed to make two cards but can only show you one as the other is for a future DT Challenge, thats the problem when you have three challenges to keep up with you have to do your DT work in advance and try to be ready for them to be posted when the time is right, but Im getting there and I think Ive now managed to be a few weeks ahead or at least I hope so.
Anyway todays card has been created for a very dear couple, friends of mine and I dont think they will be peeking but you never know so I wont be giving any names in case they do. The image is one that was given to me, and I think it might be one of the Stampendous ones, (Ive just discovered they are by Stampin Up but have been retired), I love the dreamy look of the pair and thought it was ideal for a Anniversary card I hope you think so to. Anyway Ive coloured it with my copic pens and cut it out with my Nestabilitie Label Die No.17 and then drew around the die and cut it out by hand. The sentiment is one from my stash, one of the clear stamps and mounted on a piece of card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount in yellow pearlescent card and one of three papers from the Papermania "Rose Garden" papers the first one is a gorgeous pale green and cream, the second is a pink one and the third green paper and the fourth a cream one with a rose pattern on, the edges are punched with the new Woodware Crafty Edger system and a very pretty heart scallop edge. Ive wrapped a pale lemon satin ribbon around the edge on the right hand side.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of Ive created a rose spray and some punched out rose leaves arranged in the top left hand corner and stuck on with some silicone glue. I did pop some stickles on the petals.

"Sundays with Santa" - A Family Christmas
Good Afternoon Ladies, I must apologise for not posting any cards since Thursday but Ive been a bit busy trying to catch up with not only my DT cards but also family birthday cards, and Im still down on one card but as Im waiting for my image to be sent to me I thought Id take a bit of time out to post this card.
Now I suppose you will be wanting to know why a Christmas card, well you can blame Pops for that, she started a new Challenge on Facebook five weeks ago, and any of you can take part if you click on this link here its only to give us the excuse to start creating cards each week to be ready for sending out once December comes around again. Oh before I forget, there is no prize for taking part just a bit of fun.
Ive actually used Crafters Companion Adorables images for my card, both the children and the fireplace are two stamps and Ive stamped them close together to give the illusion of them standing close to the fireplace. Ive coloured it with my copic pens and cut it out with my rotatrim, the card is a 6"x 6" white card and a first mount of red card and two papers from the "Deck the Halls" paper pad from Papermania, the first paper is a stripped one, and on top Ive mounted a beige paper with a red pattern on, then along the side of this I have wrapped a wide holly patterned ribbon down the card.
On top Ive put my mounted image and then stuck the sentiment (which is one of LOV seal stamps) at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of Ive popped three buttons down the right hand side at the top.

A Card for Three Challenges
Good Afternoon Ladies, Im so sorry for taking so long to post a card, but not only have I been beavouring away with DT cards I also went out for the day yesterday so Im really behind. Anyway todays card has been created for three Challenges, Lili of the Valleys "Dawny's Sketch, Cute Card Thursdays "Receipe" which is 3, 2 and 1, and Papertakes "Ribbons and Pearls" so Im saying that this card should cover all those three.
Ive used this new image from LOV and its called "Times to Treasure" its quite sweet really of these two children reading a book together, and Ive stamped it onto white card then coloured it with my copic pens, after which I cut them out with my Labels Nestabilitie Die No.1 then Ive drawn around the die to create the mount for it, the sentiment is also from the same stamp set and Ive used the small label die for this one.
The card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first layer of beige pearlescent card, and one of three papers from the new Papermania's "Bird Song" set of papers, this first one is a leaf pattern with birds on, the second is a orange paper with again birds and leaves on, and the third is a plain beige patterned paper in a linen look. Around the middle Ive wrapped a ribbon and created a bow for it on the right, its the new seam ribbon thats a real wow with us crafters at the moment, this one came from a supplier on Ebay, but I know Wild Orchid Crafts has it as well.
The card was created using the sketch and Ive positioned my mounted image in the middle and the sentiment to the bottom on the right, to finish of Ive created a two flower spray with some of the left over papers, these were punched out with two sizes of retro flower punches and moulded with my ball tool then stuck on the card with some silicone glue and punched out fern leaves and four pearl pins.
