Good Morning Everyone, I just dont know where these weeks go, anyway its time for another challenge over on The Paper Shelter and this time its theme is "Halloween" and they do have some fabulous images for you to use, I do hope that you will take a trip and visit their website and see for yourself as they have some brilliant offers on them at the moment.
As always our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering you a fabulous prize of
to spend on their website, but as always this is providing you have used one of their products on your cards, and they could be either papers, digi images and printables so lots to browse through. But even if you dont use one of these they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice and I think this is a very generous prize in its own right.
And now to show you my card.
I decided to use this "Im almost ready Franky" image and you will find it here, its such a clever design dont you think? Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her. Afterwards I used a Memory Box die to cut her out, then used a border one to create the spider web surroundings.
The card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of black card, then on top I have used a Sweetshoppe Digi paper called "Tricky" unfortunatly The Paper Shelter didnt have a paper to match so I used this one for its scull pattern, on top of this I have laid a piece of cheesecloth and spider web and then placed my mounted image on top. In the top right hand corner is a spider die cut from Memory Box with a spider hanging down from it.
To finish of I have used the Whimsey Stamp and pumpkin dies to create the three pumpkins at the bottom with the sentiment on.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration, and hopefully you to will take part in this "Halloween" Challenge.

Challenge #22 - Cards for Men - "Sketch"
Good Morning Everyone, I was asked by my Team Leader to create a "Sketch" for this fortnights Challenge over at the Cards for Men and I do hope that you will enjoy playing with it.
And we are being sponsored this time by Letreset and they are offering a fabulous prize of a pack of Aquamarkers.
And here is what they say about themselves:-
And this is the card I created for this Challenge.
I used this gorgeous image from Teddy Bo, and printed him onto white card then used my promarkers to colour him, then cut him out with my rotatrim and then mounted him onto a piece of purple card. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as my image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of purple card and the papers I have used are from Sweetshoppe Digi "Azucar" paper set, the first one is a black and white background of sculls in a damask pattern, then on top I have used a red background with a white spot on it.
I then positioned my mounted image towards the right with the sentiment below.
To finish of I have used the Whimsey stamp and die set to create the pumpkins in the bottom left hand corner, and with some Halloween charms stuck down the left hand side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration, and hopefully you to will take part in this "Sketch" Challenge.

And here is what they say about themselves:-
ProMarkers are made by Letraset and
are a twin tipped, dye based alcohol marker offering a high quality
product at a great price. Avilable in 148 colours, they give incredible
tonal range and can be applied to a diverse range of materials, not just
paper and card. ProMarkers produce vivid, bright colours right through
to the subtlest pastel shades - the translucent inks can also be
overlaid and blended, even further extending the range of shades and
hues on offer. ProMarker's quality nibs and inks provide flawless colour
lay down with consistent coverage and no unsightly streaking

A Card for the Sugar Bowl
Good Morning All, well the sun is out and on the whole is quite warm, though Im not sure I would want to strip of in it. But my card today is for this fortnights Sugar Bowl "Wet, Wet, Wet" and sketch challenge, and I have used one of Funky Kits Mermaid stamps, this was stamped onto white card then I used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a grand oval Nestabilitie Die to cut it out and used one of the new ones for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and and has been mounted in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of aquamarine card with one of two papers from the Sweetshoppe Digi "Medsea" paper set the first being a water pattern and the second a spot one for the second mount.
I then positioned the sketch sideways so that I could place my image along the center of the card with the sentiment below on the right. To finish of I have used the "Loopy Rings" die from Memory Box to create the illusion of water bubbles.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

A new set of Digi's
I was asked by my Design Team Leader from Cards for Men if I would make a card with a digi that her hubby Andy had created and I said I would give it a go and here is the result. Andy has created 3 digi stamps for sale (all Halloween images they are all priced at £1.each so very reasonable) and you will find them on his blog Scribbled Kidz and hes hoping to take the craft world by storm with his fabulous images, as its a new venture I do hope that you will pop across and visit this blog and see for yourself how talented Andy is.
Ive printed the image onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens, then used my rotatrim to cut it out and distressed the edges and mounted it onto a piece of red card. The sentiment is one from Whimsey stamps and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, then I have used Sweetshoppe Digi Paper "Ghoul Night" digi paper set, the first is a all over pattern of pumpkins ghouls and vampires, the second is a pumpkin paper that I have cut in a square then used my ghoul corner and border punch on, I laid this on top of a piece of red spiderweb and then I cut out with some red card a spooky house and tree from La La Land and this were placed on top of the second mount.
The mounted image was then positioned towards the left with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have put a ghost charm in the top right hand corner.

I have used this gorgeous image of a couple dancing its called "The Time of my Life", it reminds me of a clip from Dirty Dancing doesnt it you? You will find it here, I have printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels Die.8 to cut it out and then drew around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one I created on my computer and printed it and mounted it onto another piece of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are "Sophie in the Country and you will find it here, and I have used a beautiful blue and flower background for the first mount, then used a pink paper and a Cheery Lynn Doily die, then on top is a blue check paper on a third mount and a yellow one is the last one.

And believe me when I tell you their flowers are just stunning so its worth a visit just to browse and no doubt you will be tempted to buy as I am. And now here is my card for this weeks Challenge.

The sentiment is one from Waltzing Mouse Stamps and I have used two together to create the image and then mounted it onto brown card.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sundays with Santa
Good Morning Everyone, yes I know its a bit early for a Christmas Card, but over on Facebook weve been making a Card every week since the beginning of the year to try and get a good supply ready for the season, anyway I thought I would post this card a little earlier as Im rather proud of how it turned out. The image is one of the new images from Funky Kits and Ive coloured her with my copic pens then used a circle Nestabilitie to cut her out, then used the brand new Resplendant Circle with a piece of red card for the mount, the sentiment is one from again Funky Kits and I have used one of the new tag dies for it. I should have said that this weeks Sundays with Santa Challenge is "Tag It" and the Sugar Bowl is a "Sketch", I will also pop it on their Sugary Sunday "Glitter" Challenge page on Facebook to.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used Kaisercrafts "Twigs and Berries" paper pad, and the first paper is a cream background with twigs and berries on, the second and third mount are a stripped one and a spot one, both have gold embossing on, Ive also put some glitter on the image to.
The card was created using the sketch and the tag was popped in the bottom on the edge.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
Labels:
Funkykits stamp,
Kaiser papers,
Nestabilitie Die

And now here is my card for this weeks Challenge.
I love this image its called "Shes a Manic" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens and then used Nestabilitie Die No.8 to cut her out, I then drew around the die to create the mount for her. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the mount.
The card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are from "Bewitched Night" and you will find them here, they are all based on a blue background, and the second paper I cut two stripes of paper and used my Martha Stewart Lace border punch on them then layered them up below the second mount and put my mounted image in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of I used some more of the papers and the die-namic rolled flower dies to create the flowers in the top left hand corner, these were attached to the card with some silicone glue and punched out leaves. The last flourish are the Card Candi (this is something that Ive had for awhile and not used before) which were stuck down two opposite corners.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented design team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will take part in this "Punch It" Challenge.

Challenge #19 - Cards for Men - "Going Digital"
Wow its been awhile since we had a challenge over at Cards for Men, weve been taking a summer break to give us time to recoup ourselves and to spend a bit of time with our families, but now they are back at School again we thought it was high time we got ourselves into gear and started the Challenge blog again so for this fortnight we are being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique
And we were lucky enough to receive a couple of images to play with and I chose this one for my card.
And they are offering you a prize of 3 digi images of your own choice, and here is what they say about themselves:-
I'm Tracey Malnofski, the artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique. My team and I are very happy to sponsor 2 Sketches 4 You. My store has been open since September 2009.I am currently a stamp artist for UnityStampCo. and I've worked for InStyleStamps, Squigglefly, and TheDigiShack in the past. I'm a professional artist and an active member of the Artist' Guild in my community. I have quite a busy household with a husband, 3 teenagers, 5 mini-dachshunds and an Appaloosa mare. It's noisy, but I love them all. I'm truly blessed.
"The Stamping Boutique" is dedicated to quality products and original artwork. We not only provide wonderful digital images in our store, but also several lines of red rubber images. Our designers are chosen for their character and personality,as well as, their beautiful designs. We work hard to give you our very best. Thank you so much for having us as your sponsor this week.
I have used this fabulous desk image and coloured it with my copic pens, then cut it out with my rotatrim, and created a mount with some brown card, the sentiment is one I created on my computer and printed it and mounted it in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of brown card and the papers are from Sweetshoppe Digi Downloads and its called "School Rules", I have used three different ones and layered them up on some more brown card. To finish of I have used a couple of pencil buttons in opposite corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and take part in this fortnights "Going Digital" Challenge.

Good Morning Crafters, I dont know where the time goes the weeks are whizzing by and Ive no doubt most of the children have gone back to School this week after the long summer holiday, not that its been a very nice one as far as the weather has gone. Anyway to cheer you up its yet another challenge over on the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot, and for this we want to see "Anything but a Card" so I do hope you will get your thinking caps on a start creating some stunning projects.
And for this challenge The Paper Shelter is sponsoring us and they are offering a prize of :-
To spend on their website, and if I was wearing my other hat I would be tell you that these images are quite stunning and extremely good value, so its worth a trip just to browse and you will find it here.
And now for my project I created this box.
And for my papers I have used a Donna's beautiful "Roses Dream" and you will find them here, I printed two sheets and used one for around the sides, and the top I used the other one. I then attached the lace around the edge of the top by pleating it along some strong glue tape, and on top I used a velvet ribbon and tied the ends into a bow in the front.
The image I have used is The Paper Shelters "Dew Drops" and you will her here, I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, then used a large tag die to cut her out and then distressed the edge with some a lilac inkpad.
I then positioned it on the top and created a flower spray in the top right hand corner with some flowers in several sizes. I also created some smaller images to pop around the edge of the bottom of the box.
Now that youve seen my project I do hope you will pop across to the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you also will take part in this "Anything but a Card" Challenge.
