The sentiment is one I googled and printed it onto white card then used another label die to cut it out.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card and the papers I have used are from The Paper Shelters "Spring Zoe" digi paper set and you will find them here. I used a pink spot one for the first mouont and the second is a green one and on the edge I have used Tonic Butterfly Border punch down it, then on top is another pink card which was also mounted onto pink card and placed down the center.
I then used some green card and the La La Land tree die and placed in on top of this mount and stuck the mounted image in the center and the sentiment down below on the left hand side. To finish of I have used several pink flowers and placed them on the tree diecut.

Pink Gem Challenges - Challenge #115 - Mothers Day, Birthday or Special Lady

Please can you scroll down for the ABC DT Challenge Card as its below this one.
Good Morning all my faithful followers, I have some fabulous news to pass on to you, I was asked by Janet of Pink Gem Designs if I would like to join one of her Design Teams and I was thrilled to say "Yes Please" and today is the launch of my first Challenge and I sincerely hope that you like the result.
http://pinkgemchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/
And of course Pink Gem Designs is the sponsor of this Challenge and the theme this time is to create a card for either your "Mother, Birthday or for a Special Lady" in your life, unfortunately I lost my mum a few years ago so I made my card for a special friend instead, and here is my card.

And I even got my own watermark and that is another story, I had quite a job to sort that out, but now its as easy as anything. For my image I have used this gorgeous "Grace with a Rose" and you will find her here, I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a Marianne die to cut her out.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is a piece of pink card, the papers I have used are from Pink Gem Designs its Fleur to Lis design and unfortunately it does not look as if Janet has this in her shop anymore, I have used two of the papers a pink and lime green which I used a border punch from Tonic to punch the two sides and then laid it across the card then used a piece of pink ribbon and a piece of lace and attached it to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then placed in the middle of the card, and the sentiment is again one of the ticket stamps from Pink Gem Designs and you will find them here, I mounted it onto another piece of pink card and placed across the bottom right hand corner.
To finish of I have used several sized roses and placed them in the top left hand corner and these were attached to the card with silicone glue and I also used punched out rose leaves underneath the roses.
Now that you've seen my Card I do hope that you will now go and pay a visit to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Pink Design Team have created for you inspiration and hopefully you to will take part in this "Mothers Day, Birthday, or Special Lady" Challenge.

and you will find them here

And I decided to use on of my stash stamps, to be honest its been awhile since they came out of the box so it was a real treat to use this one.

I stamped Tilda onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.4 to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of pink card.
The base card is a white 6"x 6" one and the first mount is more of the same pink card, and the papers I have used are from Dovecrafts "Garden Party" paper pad, and I have used three papers, the first a white background with flourish flowers and green leaves, on top are two more papers that were cut in stripes and then I have used a Tulip Border punch from Martha Stewart and then I layed the two papers on top of each other and stuck them down the middle of the card.
I then used the Tattered Lace rose corner in the bottom left hand corner and leaf corners in the top two corners. And now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for  your inspiration.

This image is "Skateboard Andy" and you will find him here, I have printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used Tonic Circle dies and scalloped edge one for the mount out of blue card. The sentiment is from Die-namics and is the die as well.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, and the papers are again another of the Pink Gem Digi Designs its called "Slugs and Snails" and you will them here. Please do go and pay a visit to Janets website here and see for yourself what beautiful papers and gorgeous images she has for your inspiration to go wild with. I have used three papers from this set and the first is a blue background with more of Skateboard Andy on it and the second is a beige one which I have used a Martha Stewart Border punch on it, and the third mount is a green one.
I then placed my mounted image in the center and tucked the sentiment behind the mount at the top on the right, and to finish of I used the flag Empathy punch to make three buttons down in the left hand corner at the bottom.

Anyway we have another Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and this one is themed "Animal Magic" and we want to see what you can create with animals as your main image, so Im so looking forward to seeing what the entries will be like.

And now I want to show you what Ive created for this Challenge and here he is:-

Hes called Henry in my world but the actual image is titled "How are You Doin" and you will find him here, though to be absolutely honest hed be a good advert for "Should have gone to Specs Savers" as he seems bit short sighted fancy thinking the cactus was a friend, oh well never mind. Ive printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him afterward I used Embossing Folder to print the edge around him then cut it out with scissors to create the scalloped edge. This was then placed on a green Oval Nestabilitie Die background. The sentiment is one from my stash thats been also mounted on the same green card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and the papers are from the Pollyanna Pickering CD from Cupcake Crafting and I have used two of them, one has a hedgehog print on it and the second has a smaller on on and I have used a border punch on this, then on top is another mount of green with a check pattern on which has been placed down the card.
I then used a Memory Box die to create the two dark green trellis's and these were stuck across the top and bottom, then the mounted image was placed in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the A Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Animal Magic" theme Challenge.

Aurora Wings Ballet Dancer

Good Morning Crafters, well its stopped raining for a couple of hours but we have been promised some more this afternoon, and I see its been flooding down on the Severn this morning and its cut of Gloucester for those living near it. Anyway I printed this image about a week ago and I just couldnt decide what colour to do her, as shes from Swan Lake, and of course they are all white so thats what I plumbed for. I have coloured the roses on her headress and down around her dress and then cut her out with my Grand Oval Die from Nestabilities and used a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is one I googled and then cut it out with a fancy tag die.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of white pearlescent card thats been put through my embossing folder and then I have used a fancy doily towards the top and die cut a swan with one of the Tattered Lace dies and placed them at the bottom on the left.
Around the middle I have wrapped a piece of crinkled white ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount and then placed my mounted image towards the right. The sentiment was placed at the bottom below the image. And to finish of I have used several pink roses and some punched out rose leaves to create a floral spray in the top left hand corner.

Then I used more of the pearlescent card and die cut two landscape backgrounds and then placed them at the back of the card towards the top, then I placed my cut out image on the left handside and then I cut the ski's and poles (not sure of the official name for them never having skied) and placed the two ski's against the left handside and the poles are stuck in the snow with the sentiment towards the right handside. To finish of I have punched out a snowflake and placed it in the ski.

Another Aurora Wings Card

Good morning Crafters, I know its amazing for me to actually manage more than one post in a week but I thought you might like to see what I have been playing with this week its another of the beautiful Aurora Wings Images and this one is "Calla Lily" and although to me they are something I tie with funerals Im hoping that this image will hopefully make your think otherwise.
I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie rectangle die to cut her out and a larger one for the mount out of green card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and the papers I have used are from Joanna Sheens "Victorian Garden" and I have used two for this image both with Calla Lilies on, the first a white background with a spotted array of them and the second is a more denser one and this was also mounted onto green card. Then it the top left hand corner I have placed a small doily.
I then wrapped two ribbons around the card and attached it to the back of the first mount, then placed my mounted image towards the right of the card, and to finish of I have used a bunch of mulberry Calla Lilies and placed them on the left of my image and a large triple bow on top.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

And as always this comes with the rule that you must have used one of the products on your card, that could be either a Image, Paper or Printable and you will find they often have special offers and you will find them here on The Paper Shelter Website. But even if you dont you will still receive 3 digi images of your own choice, so you cant loose can you?
Anyway here is my card for for this weeks Challenge.

I love this image is called "My Racing Car" and just fabulous for a little lad and you will find it here. I have printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I cut it out with a Nestabilitie square die and a larger one for the mount.
The basic card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, and the papers are from Sweetshoppes "Pedal to the Medal" digi papers and I have used two papers the first a white background with racing cards, and the second is tyre pattern on a white background.
I then placed my mounted image towards the right hand side, and across the top left hand corner is a banner die, in two opposite corners I have placed button embellishments, and the sentiment was stamped onto a tag and then stuck to the exhaust of the motor car.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Digi with Sentiment" Challenge.

Challenge #141 - The Paper Shelter - "Winter Blues"

Good Morning Crafters, well its the turn of the A Team to make cards for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and this weeks theme is "Winter Blues" and we want to see you use Blue as your main colour and it should suit the weather to, though at the moment we seem to be avoiding snow but how long for Im not sure but its really been wet here in the UK and I know that in some places its been so bad that they have suffered floods, luckily we live up on the side of the hill and the water just seems to collect at the bottom of the road.
Anyway before I show you what I have been up to you will want to know all about the prize, and as always we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and they have offered a fabulous prize of $30.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

but this is providing you have used one of the products on your card which could be either a image, paper or printable but even it you done they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, I think that is one very generous prize, but if you would like to visit their website you will find lots of beautiful and stunning images and all up to date, as they are always adding to their library, you will find them at The Paper Shelter website, just click on their name and browse to your hearts delight.
And now for the card I have made and here it is:-

For the image I have used the "Snow Angel" and your will find it here, I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.8 and the mount is a fancy one which was cut out of blue card. The sentiment is from my stash and has been stuck on a banner die.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, and the paper I have used is from Bearlymine Designs its one of her Christmas designs. I then used Memory Box dies to create the border and corners and I have used white pearlescent card. The mounted image was then placed in the center and the sentiment was placed across the bottom right hand corner.
Now that you have seen my card I do hope you will pop across to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented "A" Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will feel you to can take part in this "Winter Blues" Challenge.
