The Twentyninth Challenge for The Paper Shelter - "Anything Goes"

Good Morning Everyone, well another fortnight has flown by and weve reached our twentyninth Challenge and I know you are going to love this one as is "Anything Goes" and its always a hit with you as it means exactly what it says you can create anything for it.
This Challenge as always is being sponsered by our very talent pair Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter.

And they are offering you a prize of $15 to spend on their website "The Paper Shelter" and if youve used one of their images on your card you will be entitled to the whole amount, but even if you havent you will still win one of their images of your own choice. Ive said it several times but their images are a really fabulous price and this prize amount will go along way, and theyve not only got cute ones to suit all occassions but are adding to them all the time, they create the most gorgeous paper sets to go with them to. And now heres my card for this Challenge.
Isnt she a corker as my dad would have said, shes called "My Little Spoilt" and she definitely fits that bill you will find her here, Ive printed her onto white card then coloured her with my Copic and Tria pens then used Nestabilitie Die No.18 to cut her out then used the die again to draw around and create the mount for it. The sentiment is one of the CC stamps thats been stamped and cut out with one of the fancy tag dies from Spellbinders.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of dark pink card and one of three papers from the "Spring Swing" paper digi sets from The Paper Shelter and you will find them here, with the second paper I have cut it into a 5" square and used one of the corner and border punches on it then layered it up on top of the first mount. With the third paper Ive used one of the circle doily dies from Die-Namics through the Cuttlebug and then has been stuck towards the left of the card.
Then a piece of cream lace and a pink satin ribbon have been wrapped around the card and attached to the back of the first mount. I then positioned my mounted image towards the left side with the sentiment below on the right hand side. To finish of Ive used several different sized roses to create a spray in the top right hand corner and stuck them to the card on top of some punched out leaves with silicone glue.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pop across to The Paper Shelter Blogspot and see what the rest of my "A" Design Team have created for you and Im sure it wont fail to inspire you to take part in this fortnights "Anything Goes" Challenge.

Bearlymine Designs Challenge Eighteen - "Flowers, Flowers, Flowers"

Good Morning Everyone and a Happy Tuesday to you as weve again arrived at a Challenge day and this time we want to see all your "Flowers" either bought or created by yourselves and Im sure that wont be difficult as its one of the most used embellishments for our cards. And this time we are being sponsered by the following :-

Before I carry on I want to let you know that Donna of Bearlymine Designs has Brand New Paper
Sets on her Website, and Im sure you also know she has a "Summer Sale" on as well at the moment.

So do pop over and see what fabulous offers she has for you, her papers are stunning and really good value. Heres my card for this fortnights Challenge.
For my card I have used this gorgeous Bildmalarna image and coloured her with my copic and Tria pens, then used Nestabilitie Labels 16 to cut it out then drawn around the edge of the die onto blue card and cut it out with scissors for a mount. The sentiment is from my stash, unfortunately I carnt remember at the moment which one it is, but this has been treated in the same way as my image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and one of two papers from Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Summer Roses" the first one is a pretty blue background with roses on, the second is a pink one with roses that has been cut into a 5" square and one of the Martha Stewart border and corner punches has been used on it, I then ran a heart die from Cherry Lynn through my cuttlebug with yet a bit more of the blue card and have placed that on top of the two layers. Then around the middle I have wrapped a piece of blue seam binding and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. I created a bow from more of the same seam binding and stuck it to the left of the image with a silver butterfly on the knot.  I then created a flower spray of several sized roses in the top right hand corner and stuck it down to the card with some silicone glue and some punched out leaves. The final flourish is the pearls top and bottom on the left hand side.
Now that youve seen my card and I do hope you will pop across to The Bearlymine Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and I hope this will give you the push to take part in this fortnights "Flowers, Flowers, Flowers" Challenge.

Before I start I want to thank everyone who took part in our last challenge is was a great favourite and we had over 300 entrants and thats a record for sure.
But getting back today we are being sponsered by "Letreset" and you know what fabulous pens they are either the Promarkers, Aquamarkers and even the Tria ones are great favourites with all of us and they are offering a fabulous prize of Pen Set so I do hope that you will take part in this Challenge.

ProMarker's quality nibs and inks provide flawless colour lay down with consistent coverage and no unsightly streaking.

And here is my card for this Challenge:-

As you can probably guess I have used this fabulous TeddyBo image of him playing golf, isnt he he gorgeous, love his plus fours, you will find him here. I have printed him onto white card then coloured him with my Tria Pens afterwards I used one of the Nestabilitie Circle dies to cut him out, and then drew around the die to create the mount for him. The sentiment is one I created with My Craft Studio and cut that out in the same way as the image and mounted this also onto a piece of green card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green pearlescent card and one of three papers from the Kay Miller "Do you see what I sea" set of papers, the first one is a green stripe and on top is a blue check which has been mounted onto blue card and set at an angle, and the third is multi spot paper thats been mounted on yet more of the green card and stuck across the middle.

Cuddly Buddly's Challenge 9 - "Say Something Nice"

Good Morning All, well here is my first card for a brand new Challenge Design Team, and Ive got to say what a fabulous welcome they all gave me, thank you so much girls and Im so looking forward to working with such a extremely talent team. Now if youve not checked on this very beautiful shop Cuddly Buddly I do wish you would pop across and see what Kim has to offer you, the images are gorgeous and so easy to use and the papers are divine, here are some of the very talented Artists and Designers that she has to offer you

Eline Pellinkhof whose images and papers Im using this time

For my card this time I have used a pre-coloured image by Eline Pellinkhof which  is titled "Waterside"
and it has a "Cat, Bear, Bunny and lots of extras" incorporated and you will find it here and here is my card for this Challenge.
Firstly I started by taking both the images into my graphics program and combining the bear with the duck, then printed them onto white card and using my Nestabilitie Die No.12 to cut it out and creating a mount for it out of blue pearlescent card. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way, before sticking the image onto the mount I used my pale blue catseye to distress the edges of this and the sentiment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with yet a bit more of the same blue card and then used one of three papers from the same "Waterside" set the first one is a stripe paper of blue and white which I have laid down in a across the horizontal way to give the illusion of water, and I then cut a corner piece of the red and white stripe one and used my EK success border punch down the the edge, and my last mount is a white background with a blue spot on and this was mounted on yet another piece of the same blue card and stuck on top of the red and white stripe paper.
I then positioned my image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, and to finish of I found a yacht button in my stash and threaded a piece of red and white bakers twine through the holes and tied it in a knot and stuck to the bottom left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do so hope you will be inspired to go across and visit the Cuddly Buddly Challenge Blogspot and take part in this "Say Something Nice" Challenge.

Just Magnolia Challenge "Sentiments"

Good Afternoon Everyone, Im so sorry Ive been so lapse just lately but its been a busy time for one and that Im trying to get as much of my DT work done before we go of to Guernsey on the 15th Sept for a Christening, and I expect those that are on DTs know exactly what Im talking about and of course Ive had three DT Challenge cards on my blog this week. But anyway stop wingeing Shirley and get down to business, todays card has been created for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge "Sentiments" Im always on the prowl looking for nice ones and I love this one particularly as I feel it goes so well with this image of Tilda in her Air Hostess suit rushing to catch her plane. Ive stamped her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens then used Nestabilitie Die Label No.l7 and then drew around the die to create the mount for it, the sentiment has been treated in the same way.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and one of three papers from Kay Millers "Park and Play" digi set, the first paper is a blue background with clouds on it, the second mount is a spot paper on a white background in blue, green and yellow, the third paper is a blue stripe paper then across the card I have wrapped a blue satin ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount. I have then positioned my sentiment at the bottom on the right with the main image in the centre.

The Twentyseventh Challenge for The Paper Shelter "A Receipe"

Well good morning all, I survived the first Team Leader DT posting though I did make a mistake with the finishing date and Im determined not to make that mistake again, I think it went down well though again Im just as scared at this my second attempt at writing up the Challenge on The Paper Shelter Blogspot as I was before, I do hope it gets less so as time goes by.
Anyway todays challenge is a "Receipe" and we want you to use
a. 3 Designer Papers
b. 2 Images
c. 1 Embellishment
Im sure you will be able to create a fabulous card within these limits and Im looking forward to seeing what you do make. As always were are being sponsered by our fabulous talented couple Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter
and they are offering you a gift certificate of $15 to spend in their webshop The Paper Shelter and the rule is if you use one of their images on your card (two this week) you will be entitled to the whole amount, but dont despair even if you dont you will still win one of them, and this is all decided with the random number org. So lets see what you can come up with, heres my card for this weeks Challenge.
For my card I have used "Walking with my Buddy" and "My lovely Pet" and I took them into my graphics program to allow me to create this image with the two of them, then coloured them with my copic and tria pens. I then used Nestabilitie Label Die No.12 to cut it out and then used the die to draw around to create the mount for it, the sentiment is one from my stash and at the moment I carnt remember where it came from, sorry about that but felt it went well with these two.
The card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card then I have mounted on this one of three papers from The Paper Shelters "Spring Swing" digi paper set, the first paper is a patchwork one and on top across the card is a second paper and this is pink pattern on, and for the third mount is a blue paper with white flowers on. The mounted image was then placed in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I created a flower with the Die Namics flower die with some left over blue paper and this was then stuck to the card with some silicone glue on top of some punched out leaves in the top left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope your go across to The Paper Shelter Blogspot and see what the rest of my very talented "A" team have created for you, and hopefully this will inspire you to take part in this "A Receipe" Challenge.

This time we are being sponsered by the following:-

Wow lots of fabulous prizes on offer Im sure you will be able to pick some gorgeous goodies from these companies.  And heres my card for this Challenge.
And for my card I decided to use this cute fairy from the "Stamp Fairy" and have printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic and tria pens, then used the Nestabilitie Labels Die No.18 to cut it out then used the die again to draw around and create a faux mount for it. The sentiment is one of the Whimsey ones thats been cut out with a Go Kreate tag die, and I then trimmed it down and cut another one out of pink card to create the mount for it.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with one of Donna's Bearlymine Design Digi set of Papers "Summer Roses" these are such gorgeous papers and so pretty, this first one is a pink background with red roses on, then on top is a yellow paper with mauve roses, this one has been cut into a 5" square and Ive used one of my corner and border punches on it. This was then laid on top of my first mount and then across the middle I have wrapped a pink satin ribbon and attached it to the back of the mount. I then positioned my mounted image in the middle but before sticking it to the card I cut another mount with one of the Marianne dies out of yellow card and mounted them up together. The sentiment tag was attached to the right hand side of the card with a large butterfly stuck on the ribbon top.
I then put a large pearl brad through a spacer and dangled a charm from it and attached it to the card on the left on the ribbon, and to finish of I created a spray in the top left hand corner from different sized roses and attached them to the card with silicone glue on top of some punched out fern leaves. The final flourish is the two rows of pink pearls in the two opposite corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go across to The Bearlymine Challenge Blogspot  and see what the rest of the very talented team have created for you and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this weeks "Bring on the Bling" Challenge.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - "A Thank You" Card

Good Afternoon Everyone, well how about this two cards in one week I must be pushing my luck here, anyway heres a card forthis weeks LOV Challenge "Thank You" and Ive used this sweet image of a Teddy Bear with a flower and card, its one of the freebie images from one of the Craft Magazines. Ive coloured it with my promarkers and flex markers that turned up this morning, theyve certainly got nice nibs though not a lot of choice in the colours at the moment. Ive then cut it out with my rotatrim and mounted it onto a piece of green pearlescent card, the sentiment is one from my stash and this has been cut out with a small Go Kreate Tag Dies and mounted again onto a mount of the same card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my firstmount Ive used a bit more of the same green card and one of three papers from the Echo Park "Victoria Gardens" papers a pretty white paper with spiral flowers all over it in several different colours. I then used a green leaf paper on a white background and cut it into a 5" square then used my leaf corner and border punches from Martha Stewart, the last mount is a strip of yellow paper on top of a another piece of the same green card.
The mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the tag which has a piece of green seam binding popped through the hole and then stuck to the right hand side of the image. To finish of I created a flower with the new Die Namics flower and this was stuck to the card on top of some punched out green leaves in the top right hand corner.

A Card for LOV Challenge - "Roses"

Good Afternoon All, Im so sorry that Ive not been around for a week but life has been very busy here at Chalmers towers, Ive been busy not only with my DT work but also helping hubby remove ivy from our two Lilac trees, clever me thought it would be nice to see the varigated ivy growing through the tree but it wasnt as it choked it and made it very sparse in the centre, anyway with lots of climbing he eventually managed to clear them both yesterday, mind you our green wheely bin is full to the brim with the rubbish.
Anyway todays card has been created for this weeks LOV challenge and Ive used one of those freebies from one of the craft magazine and Ive coloured it with my copic and tria pens before cutting it out with my Nestabilitie Label 1 then used the die to create a faux mount by drawing around the edge of it and cutting it out with scissors.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of a greeny blue card and one of three papers from the Kay Miller Digi Downloads, the first paper is a light green spot paper and then on top I have cut a 5" square and used one of the all around heart border punches on it from Martha Stewart, and for the third mount Ive used yet another piece of the same card and punched along one edge with the same border punch and put my last slip of paper by the side of it.
I then wrapped a green gauzy ribbon around the card and placed my mounted image in the centre, the sentiment is one of the LOV images and this has been mounted on a tag with yet a bit more of the ribbon threaded through the hole and this was then stuck at the bottom on the right hand side. I then created a rose spray in the top left hand corner with several different sizes of roses stuck to the card with silicone glue and on top of some punched out rose leaves. The final thing is the few pearl gems stuck at the top and bottom in the opposite corners to the roses and sentiment.
