Challenge #453 - New Beginnings - The Paper Shelter Blogspot

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers and a very Happy New Year to you, although here in the UK we are still in full lock down I sincerely hope you are coping with this, I'm waiting to hear when I'm likely to have my vaccine jab for covid as Im in the 3rd group hopefully by the time this post goes live I will have had it as Ive been in self isolation for most of the last year, my only outings have been to the dentist, doctor and vets, hubby has been out most weeks shopping and working at our local steam railway so I'm still hoping I don't succumb to this horrible virus.

Anyway I'm rattling on far to long and should be telling you what the theme is this week and it is

                                           New Beginnings

and this is just to cover anything you would term as a new beginnings, for me its Birth, new Job, new School or even new House, the choice is up to you.
But I think its time for me to get on and to remind you that you will find some beautiful images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from for this weeks theme to. Our Sponsors are and as always are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner. Please don't forget you are allowed to enter 3 projects but one of these must carry one of our images please as its only good manners don't you think.
For this weeks card I have used this Card

I chose this image to create a card so that I could send it to my grandson when his daughter was born in September its titled "Fatherly Love" and you will find it here, except for not having glasses this image is very like my grandson and I sincerely hope he loved as much as I did. I printed the image onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut it out and a fancy one and blue card I cut out the mount for it. The sentiment is one from my stash and I used another die to cut this out and mount it on the same blue card as the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the backing paper that came with the image and you will find it here. I then placed the mounted image in the center with the sentiment below in the center.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this  "New Beginnings" Challenge to.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
