The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of beige card and the backing paper is the one that comes with the image and you will find it here, I have then placed a die cut corner from Tattered lace in the top left hand corner and stuck gems along the branches. I then placed my mounted image in the center of the backing paper and put my sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. And the final flourish are the brown pearls in the top right and bottom left hand corner these were in different sizes.

Playing with Tonic Dies

Good Morning Crafters, yesterday after experiencing a big problem with my ebosser I decided to give it a go and make sure it was still going to work (I managed to get a embossing folder stuck in my ebosser and hubby had a terrible job getting it out, and even had to dismantle it to do so) and as I had just received these new tonic dies I felt that I could create two birthday cards.
I placed the die on a piece of A4 card in the middle towards the right and then fan it through the machine, and then folded the card in two and placed a piece of colour card behind the cut out. I then used the flower dies to make the flowers by cutting them out 3 times and then coloured them with inkpads with the colour of of the card that I had put behind the cut out. Then used my embossing tool to create shape and then layered them up and placed them on the flowers of the cut out, and in the center I have placed a coloured pearl.
The final thing was the sentiment stamped on the card.

ABC Challenges - "C is for Cupid"

Well can you believe January has flown by and its now the 1st of February and a brand new Challenge over on ABC Challenge Blogspot and for the one we have the theme "C is for Cupid" and weve been lucky enough to be sponsored by Marianne Designs and Stamp & Create

http://www.mariannedesign.nl/

http://www.stampandcreate.com/

And I actually found a gorgeous Marianne Image to use for my card

I have stamped the image onto white card and then coloured it with my copic pens, afterwards I cut it out with a Heart die, I then used the Marianne Heart die for the topper and I also used a pink inkpad to stencil over the design to make it stand out.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the first mount is a white pearlescent card and the papers are from the Marianne Designs paper pad, then around the middle I have tied a deep pink ribbon and attached it to the back of the first layer.
I then placed my mounted image tipped towards the left and the sentiment was one from my stash and has also been stamped and cut out with a heart die and mounted on a pink heart die cut and placed in the bottom right hand corner and in the right is a bouquet of pink rose buds with a pink ribbon tied around them. The final flourish is the 3 pink pearls in the top right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "C is for Cupid" Challenge.
