Challenge #429 - Flower Power - The Paper Shelter Challenge

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, the weather here in the UK has been so beautiful lately though I gather we are to expect some rain at sometime I love all the flowers and the garden is filling up so quickly with them, mind you not sure hubby enjoys having to cut the grass so often but it does look so clean and tidy when he does. Weve had a rather stressful week one of our Yorkies has been ill yet again with a stomach problems Colitis the second time in less than two months, it seems it might be something we are feeding him it seems his digestive system doesnt cope with whatever it is we give him now starts the eliminating the problem item.
Anyway this weeks theme is all about

Flower Power

and this means we must use flowers of some kind on our cards please, this can be the backing paper, embellishments or even a image which shows flowers.
And you will find some beautiful images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from for this theme to. Our Sponsors are and as always are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner.
For this weeks card I have used this image

This image is titled "Psychedelicate" and you will find her here, Ive printed her onto white card and then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a fancy rectangle die to cut her out and use a larger die for the mount which is in blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the backing paper is from the same design set as the image and you will find it here. I then placed two strips of lace around the base card and attached it to the back with a wide ribbon to cover the gap in the center. I then placed my mounted image in the center with a stamped sentiment in the bottom right hand corner which was created with yet again a small fancy rectangle die.
To finish of I have used several daisy flowers in the bottom left hand corner.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this  "Flower Power" Challenge to.
