Shades of Blue

hopefully this will encourage the weather to change and warm up and we look forward to seeing how you interpretate this for yourself, but we do wish to see the colour blue used mainly in your design.

Our Sponsors are and as always are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner. Please don't forget you are allowed to enter 3 projects but one of these must carry one of our images please as its only good manners don't you think.
For this weeks card I have used this Card

I have used this cutie for my own card and she is titled "Warm in Winter" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens and then cut it out with a square card and mount it onto a larger one out of blue card. The sentiment was stamped and cut out with a rectangle die and also mounted onto a larger one out of blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image and you will find it here. I then placed my mounted image in the center towards the top and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. I then used a snowflake punch to create the snowflakes that have been stuck around the card.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this  "Shades of Blue" Challenge to.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

This little lady is titled "Valentine Hug" and you will find it here, I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a indented rectangle die to gut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of pink card.
The base card is 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of pink card and the background paper is the same design from the image set and you find it here. I then place a heart doily in the bottom left hand corner and the sentiment is stamped, cut and mounted as the same way as the image. I placed my mounted image in the center towards the top.
