Challenge #389 - Going Digital - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, not long now before the Children break up for the long summer holidays, lets hope the weather starts to improve by then as I'm sure a lot of mothers are going to be pulling their hair out if they have to have them under their feet all the time if they cannot get out into the garden,
This weeks theme is all about

Going Digital

which most images these days are based on and our company is all digital so if should be an easy theme to follow.
And you will find some beautiful images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from to. Our Sponsors are and as always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner.
As I have a larger need for boy cards especially as I have 5 grandsons and 3 great grandsons I felt this image was ideal to create a card for one of them.
This image is titled "Bowling Day" and you will find it here. I printed him onto white card before colouring him with my copic pens, afterwards I used a square die to cut him out and a larger one for the mount out of brown card.
The base card is 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of brown card and the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image and it will be found here. I then laid my mounted image in the center of the card with a sentiment that I printed from the internet and printed and placed on a larger mount out of brown card, this was then placed in the bottom right hand corner. The final embellishments are the 2 star buttons in two opposite corners.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Going Digital" Challenge to.

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, this week we are going to introduce a new Team Member I hope that you will go over to our Challenge Blog and get to see her beautiful card. Anyway this weeks theme is all about

Ribbons and Buttons

this is or should be a easy to create with Im sure you must have lots of either in your stash.

And for my own card I chose to use this image

This little lady is titled Glittery and Sparkling and you will find her here. Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her then used a circle die to cut her out and a fancy one out of mauve card for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash thats been stamped and mounted on yet another piece of the same mauve card.
The base card is 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of the same mauve card thats been used above, and on top of this I have laid the backing paper from the same design set as the image, and you will find it here.
I then wrapped a piece of ribbon around the top left hand corner and place a silver crown button on top of bow I create. The mounted image was then place in the center with the sentiment which is from my stash and is about 2 years old in the bottom right corner. To finish of I have used pink pearls down the right hand side and bottom left hand side.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Ribbons and Buttons" Challenge to.
