And as always we are being sponsored by our very generous Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering you a fabulous prize of :-

But as always there is the rule that you must use one of their products on your card but even if you dont they will still offer you a prize of 3 digi images, but please do go and visit their website "The Paper Shelter" and see for yourself what beautiful and stunning images they have for sale, and do browse and see and maybe youll be tempted to treat yourself to buy a few as they really are very good value as the rate of exchange is brilliant so do indulge yourself.
And now for my card for this weeks challenge hope you like it.

Isnt she gorgeous shes called "Adorable Cowgirl" and Ive printed her and then used my copic pens to colour her then cut her out completely.
The base card is 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is brown card and the paper is the backing paper that comes with the image, I then placed the cowgirl in the center, and then I used a stamp and moulded it so that I could stamp on the streamer at the bottom on the left.
The flower was punched out of another piece of the same main sheet with several flower punches then moulded into a flower and layered up, I then positioned it in the top left hand corner on some punched out leaves. To finish of I used some cowboy charms down the right hand side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pop over to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented "A" Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this weeks "Anything Goes" Challenge.

and they are offering a equally fabulous prize

And to create my card for this Challenge I chose to use one of the Alota Digi Images, and here she is.

Because the images come as a SVG image I had to get my husband to convert it to a JPG for me, then I printed her of onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a large oval die to cut her out. The mount I have used is one of the Cheery Lynn Dies, and the sentiment is one from my stash that I have stamped onto another piece of white card and then mounted it onto a piece of pink card.
The main card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card and the papers I have used are from Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Spring Mist" for the first mount and then I have used one from the "Floral Dreams" white I cut into a square and used my border and corner punches from Martha Stewart, this was placed in the middle of the first mount.
The house is one of the Memory Box dies I have also used some of the left over pink card for the roof and the window and its box. The fence is yet another of the dies as is the leaf thats been down the left side, to finish of I have used some some buttons as flowers and popped some glitter glue in the centres.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will go and visit the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented "A" Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Girly Pink" Challenge.

A Card for several Challenges

Good Evening Crafters, well I thought that you might like to see a card Ive made for this weeks Sugary Sunday (Facebook) and Sugar Bowl Challenges, both are anything goes, but the one for SS wants to see Spring Colours on your card, so Im hoping that this card meets the bill.
I had a wonderful weekend I spend it on a Copic Pen Retreat in Oxford near Harwell Power Station and a fabulous DeVere's Hotel complex, with several like minded girls, we had a brilliant time and I learned quite a few new methods of using them even air brushing which is something Ive wanted to have a go at but been a little nervous of doing it, but it went well. The only problems with the hotel were, firstly the room they gave me was in a old cottage which had leaded windows and they didnt shut properly so I was in a draft during the night and I woke up cold, then Saturday night I just couldnt get warm and didnt sleep at all which was exhausting and yesterday I was than tired I just didnt have the strength to talk to hubby and he was under the impression I was moody, I told him I was just tired, but other than this and a late dinner on Saturday I did have a wonderful time and the girls were lovely.
Anyway this card has been created using of of the Sherbet Pips from Funky Kits, I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used the Nestabilitie dies to cut her out and one of the new ones for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of orange card and the papers I used are from Sweetshoppe Digi Downloads and this one is called "Carefree Days" they are really some gorgeous paper sets and I love these in particular, the first a white background with multi coloured flowers on, the second is a orange spot one, then across the card I have stuck a lime green ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount. The sentiment is another of the same dies as the mount and has been stuck down the side of the card.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

Challenge #6 - Cards for Men - "Easter"

Good Morning Crafters, well its Monday again and a new Challenge over on Cards for Men and again Im having to create a "Easter" card, just when I thought I had finished but as my new great grandson is now here I will post this onto him though hes a bit young to appreciate it. As I said this weeks Challenge is all about "Easter" and we want to see you make one to follow this theme, and it must be for a man or boy so you will have to start putting your thinking hats on and finding something you thing is relevant.
This weeks Challenge we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps:-

and they are offering a fabulous prize of

And here is what they say about their Company :-

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug

I love the images we were given to play with and for my card I decided to us this one,

Isnt he cute hes called "Bunny Boy" and I have printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die No.17 to cut him out then drew around the die to create the mount for him. The sentiment is one I created on my computer then printed it out.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card the papers I have used are from Nitwits "Carrots too" paper set, the first one is a blue spot one, then on top is a green check and the third is a plaid across the middle, I did use the Martha Stewart Rabbit border punch along both sides and this was placed under the second mount.
The mounted image was then placed towards the top in the center and then the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side, to finish of I have used a rabbit button and three Easter egg buttons along the bottom.
Now that you've seen my Card I do hope that you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have for your inspiration.

Challenge #103 - The Paper Shelter - "Easter"

Good Morning Crafters as promised the challenge for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot week is also "Easter" so lots of opportunities for creating those cards for little people, as I have several of them in my family and friends I have created two cards for this weeks Challenge. Oh I nearly forgot I really must tell you that we have four new Design Team members joining us this week and they are Judith, Susan, Janie and Lydia I do hope that you will give them a rousing welcome to the Challenge Design Team and visit their blogs and leave them some love.
But Im getting ahead of myself and now I want to tell you that our sponsors are as always the very generous Veronica and Pedro from The Paper Shelter, and they are offering a really fabulous prize of $30.

And of course we do have some rules, you must make sure you use one of their images on your cards to be sure to receive the whole amount, but even if you dont they are still going to give your 3 digi images of your own choice, so you really carnt loose with this Challenge.
And now I want to show you the two cards I have created then I will give you the links to the images and papers.

This Card is using "I am the Easter Bunny" Image

And this one is called "Easter Bunny"

Both of these cards will be on their way in the next few days and I do hope you dont mind me posting both of them, anyway the first one is "I am the Easter Bunny" and you will find her here, Ive used both the image and the papers for this card, and I will combine both of the cards in my write up as they both been done in the same way. The second card is "Easter Bunny" and Ive also used both the image and the papers and you will find him here. Ive printed both the images onto white card then used my copic pens to colour them both, afterwards I used the nested Egg Die for Nestabilities, and then drawn around the die to create the mounts.
I have used a pink and mount for the first card and a purple one for the second, and for the first one I wrapped a egg ribbon around the center downwards and placed my mounted image in the center, the sentiment was placed in the bottom right hand corner.
For the second one I used a egg stamp with several colours in the middle behind the mount image then cut out several of them from a separate piece of paper and after sticking the mounted image in the center I have placed the eggs around the edge of the circle on the mounted paper. The sentiment is from my stash which I felt went well with the image. To finish of I have used a Easter Chick button at the bottom and the end of the sentiment.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Easter" Challenge.

And for a change I havent used a Paper Shelter image but a "High Hopes" Stamp instead, as I have used two images for my next Challenge post tomorrow as you will see.

And this image is called "Bunny Masterpiece" and you will find it here, Ive stamped it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I used a nested Easter Egg from Nestabilitie Dies to cut it out, then drawn around onto blue card and then cut out and used for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been cut out again with one of the smaller egg dies and mounted in this same way.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first die of blue card and the papers I have used are Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Spring Flight" and "Spring Delights" and I have cut them to slant down the card at an angle and Ive used a rabbit border punch on all three and layered them up, though they arnt to easy to see but they are turquoise, yellow and green backgrounds with flowers on.
I then placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the left hand corner, and to finish of Ive used some Easter Buttons down the right hand side of the card.

Jacob has arrived

My first great grandchild made a really noisy arrival this morning at 3am, my grandson rang me at 3.15 and he was howling in the background and Im not surprised as it was snowing in Norwich at the time, he was probably a hell of lot warmer where he'd been.
Anyway my grandson and his wife have decided to call him Jacob Stephen Martin, the later two are after the two grandfathers and as my grandson also has Stephen in his name hes passing on the family tradition. Im so glad that he made it back from Afghanistan in time for this special event and he sounded so happy on the phone.
I want to wish my granddaughter, grandson, great grandson and my eldest daugher a very Happy Future to you all, and to thank you all for giving me this very special present for Mothers Day. Oh and by the way he weighted in at 7lbs.15ozs a real whopper, he looks well filled out so will probably be a good feeder, I hope my grandson has a good wallet to keep up with him.
