Challenge #125 - "Holiday Time" - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning, yes I know two days in a row I must be improving in my blogging, well sorry I doubt it I just dont seem to have the mojo to be posting a card everyday so do please forgive me, I will try and improve but if I dont you will understand I hope.
Anyway this weeks Challenge over at The Paper Shelter is themed "Holiday Time" and we are hoping to see lots of your holiday images on your cards, so Im sure you have them in your stash I know I have.
As always our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro from The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.

but as always you must have used one of their images, papers or printables on your card, but even if you havent they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, so really you cannot loose can you.
For my card I have used this gorgeous image.

Of course unfortunately that lovely sunny hot weather has now disappeared and we are now back to our normal wet summers, lets hope it doesn't last long but to be honest I would'nt bank on it going in the near future. For my card I have used "Sunny Days" and you will find it here, I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.22 and a decorative one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of yellow card, the papers I have used are from the Sweetshoppe Digi Papers "Poolside Splash", the first is a bright yellow sunshine paper, and the second and third are both patterned ones, and on both of these I have used border punch from Martha Stewart seaside one. Then across the middle is a water one again mounted onto yellow card.
The mounted image was then placed in the center and the sentiment across the top left hand corner.
Now that  youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration with this "Holiday Time" theme.

Challenge #17 - "Funny Birthday" - Cards for Men

Good Morning Crafters, I am really sorry I have been so poor in blogging lately but although I have been creating cards Ive not been able to post them as they were mainly for forthcoming Challenges but also I wanted to get them in the post quickly and didnt really have time to take a photo of them.
Anyway this fortnights Challenge over on Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot is "Funny Birthday" and we are being sponsored by QKR Stampede and to be absolutely honest I had never come across this company before and was really surprised at what fabulous images they have to offer.

And they are offering a fabulous prize of 5 digis of winners choice

and here is what they say about their company

Do you have a sense of humor? Are you looking for a cute stamp? Then, we are the company for you! QKR Stampede is the somewhat cute somewhat quirky rubber and digital stamp company. We showcase the artwork of Ken Herrod, who had a unique, somewhat quirky style with lots of humor and character. You are sure to get a chuckle out of our stamps! We have been offering our unique stamps and supplies to the craft industry for over 15 years. At QKR Stampede our images are available as un-mounted, natural red rubber stamps OR as digital stamps! If QKR Stampede Stamps aren't exactly what you are looking for, don’t miss out on the sister companies: Eureka Stamps, Biblical Impressions Rubber Stamps, or the newest addition; Alluring Impressions.

And we were so lucky to be able to choose a image to play with and I chose this one for my brother-in-law as he does like his beer.

And this jolly chap is called "One over the Barrel" which is quite appropriate dont you think? Ive printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, and cut it out with a Nestabilitie die and mounted it onto a larger one in red. The sentiment is one I googled and then copied and printed it onto white card and mounted this on a piece of red card also.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used are from SweetShoppe Digi Downloads and this set is called "Time stands still" and I have used four papers the first being a damask red paper, then on top are top papers on red mounted a check one and a plain brown one, then across the two is a blue and white pattern on.
Ive then placed my mounted image on top with the sentiment below on the right. Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot, and see what the rest of the very talented design team have created with this theme "Funny Birthday" for your inspiration,

Challenge #123 - The Paper Shelter - "Punches and Dies"

Good Morning Crafters, oh my weve been experiencing lots of rain over the last few days, I suppose it was bound to happen after so much heat and sunshine, but the only thing that seems to be benefiting is the garden, it really needed a soaking and its certainly getting it now. Anyway I do hope you enjoyed our last Challenge as it was very popular and we had over 300 entries, thank you so much for that.
Anyway this weeks Challenge is being hosted by the "A" Team and its all about "Punches and Dies" and as usual our sponsors are Veronica and Pedro from The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.

but as always this comes with the rule that you must have used one of their products on your cards, they do have some stunning images, papers and printables on offer and its worth a visit at the moment as they have a discout voucher thats worth 20%
so this could'nt be a better time to pop across to their website for a browse Here, and even if you don't use one of their products they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, so you really cant loose can you.
And now to show you what Ive been up to.
The image I have used is "Fairy Tea Time" and you will find her here, and I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut her out and a decorative one for the mount out of blue card. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are from The Paper Shelters "Lovely Bug" digi paper set and you will find it here. I have used two of them the first is a butterfly one then on top is a strip down the card which has ladybugs on it.
The mounted image was placed towards the top in the center, and then along the bottom I have stuck a teapot border from Cottage Cuts, and the tree border down the right is another of their dies. The butterfly at the top is a Memory Box one, the sentiment was then placed under the image towards the right.
I do hope that now youve seen my Card that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Punches and Dies" Challenge.

Good Morning Crafters, oh my Ive just had one busy week, two of my grandsons came to stay and of course Ive not been able to get into my craft room to play so Im now chomping at the bit to make a start, but of course firstly there is all the clearing up to do before I can even think of starting. Anyway I hope you will play with us over on Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot as this fortnights Challenge is "Heavy Metal" so we want to see a card with something metal on it and of course it must be right for a man or boy.

And they are offering 4 digi images for your prize

And here is what they say about themselves:-

We were so lucky to be given several images to play with and I chose this one for my card.

Hes called "Chico's Chopper" and you will find him here, I printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used my rotatrim to cut him out and a piece of red card for the mount. The Sentiment is one that I googled and then printed it from my computer and then placed this also onto a piece of red card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used are from Dovecrafts "Chronology" Paper Set and I have used three papers for my card. The mounted image was then placed towards the top on the left with the sentiment below on the right. To finish of I have used two motorbike charms and they were placed in the two opposite corners.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Heavy Metal" Challenge.
