Challenge #411 - Shades of Blue - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, already we are on to our second Challenge of the year, and here in the United Kingdom its been extremely wet and my poor garden is beginning to look like a mud bath, I know Hippos would love to wallow in it, my dog certainly does so we avoid him racing around in it or he brings it indoors with him. Anyway the theme Ive chosen this week is all about

Shades of Blue

and please this means that the predominant colour must be blue of course this doesnt mean you cant use other colours especially for the skin and hair tones but you must use all shades of blue to colour your images other parts.
And you will find some beautiful images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from for this theme to. Our Sponsors are and as always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner.
For this weeks card I have used this image

This image is titled Well wrapped up which I felt was appropriate if your like myself you certainly had them and of course there were other things which you avoided like crazy. You will find the image here find it here.
I printed her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a oval Nestabilite die and a fancy one for the mount out of blue card. The base card is a 6.50" x 6.50" white card and the first mount out of blue card and the backing paper is from the same image set and again you will find it here.
I then placed mounted image in the center on top of a ribbon and the sentiment is from my stash which was stamped again (about 5 years old) onto white card and mounted on a smaller die cut in blue card. To finish of I have used several blue pearls in the rest of the free corners.

Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this  "Shades of Blue" Challenge to.

This image is titled "Cravings"  which I felt was appropriate if your like myself you certainly had them and of course there were other things which you avoided like crazy. You will find the image here .
I printed her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a square Nestabilite die and a fancy one for the mount out of blue card. The base card is a 6.50" x 6.50" white card and the first mount out of blue card and the backing paper is from the same image set and again you will find it here.
I then placed a heart doily in the center with a ribbon around the middle before laying the mounted image in the center, the sentiment is from my stash which was stamped again onto white card and mounted on a smaller die cut in blue card. To finish of I have used several blue pearls in the rest of the free corners.
