Challenge #399 - Colours of Fall - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers already here in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire where I live the leaves are changing colours, in my own garden the Acer is going from Yellow to Red, I love the Colours of Autumn but for me its the start of the dark morning and the evening drawing in, not sure I would manage if I had to live without Summer as it becomes depressing Im definitely not a Winter person.
Over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot the theme this week is

Colours of Fall

so you can start to choose for yourself which of those colours suit your cards or projects best.
And you will find some beautiful images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from to. Our Sponsors are and as always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner.
For this weeks card I have used this image

This little lady is titled "Autumn Enchantment" and you will find her here. I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut her out and then mount this onto a piece of brown card cut with the same die set as the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" brown card and the backing paper from the same paper set as the image and you will find it here. On top of this I have place a square doily and then placed my mounted image in the center with a stamped sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. The final embellishments are with several sized flower buttons down the right and left hand sides.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Colours of Autumn" Challenge to.

Challenge #397 - Embossing of any kind - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well I sincerely hope that you are enjoying more free time now the children are back at School, I dont know about you but it is nice not to have a load of them screaming and shouting around your back gate causing our dogs to continually bark, but having raised four children myself I looked forward to them going back to School as by the end of 6 weeks holiday they were getting rather bored.
This weeks theme is all about Embossing, this can be either by Embossing Folder, Dies or even Embossing Powder, for me I used the die

Embossing of any Kind

edge as I love the effect it left around my image and the mount.

This gorgeous image is titled "Sports Star" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a embossing edged square die to cut her out and some dark blue card and a larger die from the same set for the Mount. The sentiment was created in the same way with a stamp and a smaller pair of dies.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of same blue card and the backing paper is also from the "Sports Star" design set where you will find it here. On top of this in the I have placed at the top some die cut flags and the mounted image in the middle with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. To finish off I have used several buttons down the left hand side.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Embossing of any Kind" Challenge to.
