For this weeks card I have used this Card
 

 
 This little lady is so pretty and she is called "Real Life Hero" and you will find him here, I printed him onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut him out with one of my rectangle dies, afterwards I cut a larger one with a fancy edge in blue card and mounted them up together. The sentiment is stamped onto white card and cut with the same rectangle dies in two sizes and mounted in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of the same pink card, the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image and you will find him here. I layered the paper onto a piece of the same pink card as the image and then placed a square doily in the middle and layered my mounted image on top, with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.

Blog Hop - Birthday/Celebrations - The Paper Shelter 10th Birthday Challenge

Good Morning fellow Paper Shelter Crafters and welcome to our annual Blog Hop and this is in celebration of their reaching their 10th Birthday on December 8th. It will be a two week Challenge and both Design Teams are taking part.

theme, which I know will be extremely popular!!!! and I hope you have landed here from The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot as you'll not want to miss out on the start of our Blog Hop as this one is extra special as both Our Design Teams have worked very hard to showcase the gorgeous images that are available from The Paper Shelter Website and each stop on the hop is offering one of their lucky commenters a digi of their choice, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and you can always return back to the Challenge blogspot if at any time you loose your way to find out the next stop on the Hop.

Now to show you my own card for this Challenge


For my own card I have used "Cupcake Birthday" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a circular die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of pink card. 
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of the same pink card as the mount for the image and on top of this I have used the backing paper from the same design set as the image and you will find it here. I then wrapped two ribbons around the card and attached to the back a large white one on the left with balloons on and a cake and balloon one down the bottom.
I then placed my mounted image in the center with a stamped sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I stamped a cake and cut it out with another die and placed a large cut number 10 on top.

Challenge #451 - A Christmas Card - The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot

 Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers well this weeks theme is

A Christmas Card

Well hes certainly a modern Santa I think my grandson is likely to give this a go, hes titled "Extreme Christmas" and you will find him here. I printed him onto white card before colouring him with my copic pens afterwards I cut him out with a rectangle die and used a fancy one for the mount out of blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of the same blue card as the mount and the back paper is also from the same design set as the image and you will find it here, I then placed my mounted image in the center with a sentiment created in the same way by stamping it onto white card and cutting it out and placing onto another piece of the same blue card and then positioning it in the bottom right hand corner.

I seem to create quite a lot of these especially for all my family and this one will go eventually to one of my granddaughters.

and I have to say that my great grandsons love this time of the year, they dress up and go out to collect sweets from neighbours and friends, whether they will be able to do that this year I dont know but Im sure they will definitely dress up as they love doing this all the time, not necessarily in Halloween Clothes.

The sentiment is one from my stash than I have stamped also onto white card and cut it out with a square die and cut a larger one out of orange card to mount it on.
 
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card and I used another piece of the same orange card as the first mount, I have used the backing papers that come with my image and you will find them here. Challenge #443 - Colours of Autumn/Fall

 Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, tomorrow its October and to me the start of Autumn/Fall and the colours that are displayed are always so pretty and as I live in the Forest of Dean we are so lucky to find lots of beautiful colours everywhere. So this weeks theme is

This image is titled "Autumn Attitude" and you will find it here, I printed it onto white card and then coloured it with my copic pens, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut it out and used a larger one out of brown card for the mount.

The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of the same brown card and the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image and your will find it here. The sentiment is one from my stash and I also mounted this onto brown card. 

I then placed my mounted image in the center and my sentiment in the bottom right hand corner, to finish of I have used several leaf buttons around the card as embellishments.

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, I cannot believe that the children have been back at School two weeks all ready I hope your family are now well and truly settled back and are enjoying learning with their new teachers again. This weeks theme is all about those Pets that they have or should I say you probably have to look after

This unusual image is titled "State of the Art Dogwalk" you will find it here and as hubby and I are very much computer nerds I felt this was ideal to create this card, mind you I think I may have to buy a drone to actually try it.
I printed it onto white card before colouring it with my copic pens and then cutting it out with one of my fancy rectangle dies and cutting a larger one out of blue card for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and I have also cut it out of white card and mounted it onto blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card the same I used the backing paper that came with the image and you will find it here. I then placed a bone ribbon around the card and attached it to the back and placed my mounted sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. I then placed my mounted image towards the top in the center.

Challenge #439 - Back to School - The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot.

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, can you image at last it looks as if its going to be safe for the children to go back to School its been 6 months since they were last there and no doubt the Teachers are going to find trying to get them to concentrate on their work is definitely going to be a strain for them and to make sure they keep a social distance, lets hope they go back healthy without coughs, colds, tummy upsets all the nasties they seem to have when starting School
Anyway this weeks theme is to cover this and its

and as I had my 2nd great grandson due to start this term it gave me an excuse to create him one and I hope you like the results.

This is titled "In the Class" and you will find it here, I printed it onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens afterwards I used a square die to cut it out and created a larger square from brown card for the mount. The sentiment was stamped with a stamp from my stash and then cut out with a small rectangle die and this was also mounted onto a larger one out of brown card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount also from the same brown card and then I placed the backing sheet from the same design set as the image and you will find it here, and then on top I have placed my mounted image and in the bottom right hand corner I have placed my sentiment. To finish of I have used some letters and number buttons and placed them around the card.

Challenge #437 - Punches and Dies - The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers and welcome back, I sincerely hope your children are enjoying their Summer holidays and looking forward to returning to School in the next few weeks, I know my own great grandsons are so ready to return lets hope we dont have any more lock outs as I think they have had enough of home Schooling for sure.
Anyway this weeks theme is

Punches and Dies

and for this we want to see how you have used them on your card or project so be prepared to let us know exactly what you have used.

This little fairy is titled "Fairy's best Friend" you will find her here, and I have printed her onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut her out and then mounted her onto a pink circle cut again with a die, I also punched out two tags and stamped a sentiment on top.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of pink card the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image and you will find it here. I placed my mounted image in the middle with the two tags tucked under in the top right hand corner, to finish of I have used a butterfly punch to punch out several butterflies and placed them all over the card.
