Good Afternoon Crafters, well the sun is out and its quite warm outside and Im so hoping it stays like this when I go away for a few days next week, Cornwall isnt the best place to visit if its wet as it gets rather foggy when it does. Anyway this is my fourth card using the beautiful new Fairy Glen Images from Funky Kits, isnt she a cutie, Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.1 to cut her out and a decorative ones for the mount. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the papers are from Raspberry Road, in a free book I received some time ago, Ive only used one piece and mounted this onto pink card, I laid a circle doily towards the top left hand corner, then I wrapped two ribbons around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then placed my mounted image on top of the doily, then placed the sentiment down the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used several flowers and created a floral spray in the bottom left hand corner.

The mounted image was then placed on top towards the left with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. I then used some of the left over card and two Marianne shell dies to create the shells down the left hand side, I also put some yellow stickles on them to give the look of sand.

Heres my third Card with the new Fairy Images
Good Morning Crafters, well its certainly a weird day for the weather, its windy but at this very moment the sun is out, but you know what its like one minute sun the next rain, but I thought I would bring another card using the gorgeous new Fairy Glen images from Funky Kits, isnt she just so cute. I have stamped her onto a white card and then coloured it with my copic pens and afterwards I have used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.1 to cut it out then used a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is from my stash and has been mounted onto a piece of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are from Kay Millers Digi Downloads and this one is "Its a Spring Thing" which is a pretty white background with multi flowers on it. The second paper is a stripe one and the third a plain blue one.
The mounted image was then placed towards the top in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side, and to finish of I have placed six pearls in opposite corners.

Challenge #117 - The Paper Shelter - "Anything but a Card"
Good Morning Crafters, well the weather is just awful yet again, rain and its quite cold at times, but a least our garden is enjoying it, mine is growing so fast we have to cut the grass more often because of it. Anyway this weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is a "Anything but a Card" which means we want to see lots of projects, it can be quite scarey when you start but if the DT are anything to go by Im sure you can find something to create.
Anyway before I show you what I have made I want to tell you who our sponsors are and they are The Paper Shelter and they are offering you a fabulous prize of $30.
But this is providing you have used one of their products on your card, they have quite a selection to, papers, images and printables so if you go and visit their website The Paper Shelter you will be able to browse and see for yourself. But dont despair even if you dont use one of their products and you are chosen by Random Org they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, you carnt ask better than that can you? But dont forget you are only allowed to enter three times and at least one of them must carry one of the products from The Paper Shelter.
And now to show you what Ive been up to.
Im really pleased with the end result of this door hanger, my hubby's granddaughters birthday is in August and I thought this would make a lovely present for her as shes now 5 years old and they start to want a little more girl space dont they? And she can pop it on her door handle when she doesnt want to be disturbed.
Ive used a plain door hanger which I bought at NEC last November and I have used a white paint to paint a base coat, then on top I have put the crinkle paint and sprayed some inks all over it to give it a rainbow effect, this was then left to dry completely.
The next stop was to print this gorgeous "Acrobat Little Doll" and you will find it here, I have printed her several times and then decoupaged her up on a circle die, afterwards I used some lace around the edge.
This was then placed at the bottom of the hanger and across the top I have stuck a web ribbon and a double pink one of chiffon, on top I have placed two roses and pearl sprays and to finish of I have used some letter buttons and stuck then along the hanger arm. I do hope you like the finished hanger and will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will take part in this weeks "Anything but a Card" Challenge.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges
Good Afternoon Crafters, I do feel so slack in not posting a card more often but I think I might have lost some of mojo to be honest or urgency thats probably more like it. Ive done some colouring of images and thats as far as I have got, but I did want to create a card for this weeks "Fairies" Challenge over on Sugary Sunday and "Anything Goes" one on Facebook, and I have used this sweet image for this card, Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her. Afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die No.4 to cut her out and a Gold one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been stamped on yet a piece of white card then mounted on a spare piece of the blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers are from First Edition its one of the new sets "Flower Pavilion" and I have used three papers for it, the first is a blue background with pink roses on the second has a similar patter on it but on a white background and the third is a pink background with white spots on. These were layered up on more of the blue card.
I have then positioned my mounted image towards the left and then cut out two floral sprays and these were placed on the right hand side. The sentiment was then placed at the bottom on the right hand side.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

As Im writing this up before last weekends trip to Norfolk I carn't tell you how it all went for my great grandsons Christening but I promise I will tell you all about it in a separate post (you will see a separate post on my No.2 blog www.nannieflash2.blogspot.com) you'll find a link on the right hand sidebar. Anyway this weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is "Flower Power" and of course this means we want to see lots of flowers on your card.
As always our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.
But this is providing you have used one of their products on your card, but even if you haven't they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice. I do urge you to pay a visit to their website here and see for yourself what stunning product they have, and that could be images, papers and printables all of brilliant value so do go and browse and see for yourself and you wont be able to leave without buying a least one of them.
Anyway for my card this week here is the result.
And I have used this teddy image and its titled "Teddy with Flowers" and you will find it here, I have printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used a square Nestabilitie die to cut him out, and a Fancy one for the mount, I carnt remember exactly what this one is called. The sentiment is one from my stash and has also been mounted on a piece of pink card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount I have used pink card, and then used "Vintage Flowers" papers from The Paper Shelter and you will find them here. The first paper is a beautiful cream background with lots of beautiful flowers on, the second I cut into a square and I used one of the border and corner punches from Martha Stewart which has been placed in the middle of the bade mount. I then cut two leaf swirls from Die Namics and these were placed down the left and along the top of the base layer, and the mounted image was then placed in the center and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
To finish of I have used lots of carnations on the flower spray in six places. I do hope that you like my card and that you will now pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully take part in this "Flower Power" Challenge.
