Brand new CD from Peerless Designs

Sarah Hallam has a brand new CD due to be previewed on Create and Craft on Wednesday 1st April at 10am, what a fabulous idea to use on all those old books we have lying around, do please make sure you watch the show and see for yourself what a clever idea it is.

A beautiful card from Pink Gem Designs

Good Morning Crafters, Ive got to say that Janet from Pink Gem Designs certainly understands little lads and this cute chap is called "Andy" and you will find it here on her website.  And I printed it onto three pieces of 200 gsm card and you get the background for the front and the insert which I cut and layered up onto blue card and stuck them to a base card.
On the front is the actual image and you get a third page which you can then cut out and decoupage up on top of the first one which I have done.
I do hope that you will pay a visit to Janets website and see what fabulous images she has for sale and also the premade cards which this is all ready to print and make up without to much bother.

"You make me a Happy Bunny"

Good Morning Crafters, this week has been so hectic, not only have we suffered from 5 power cuts, which caused our dishwasher to go crazy, but I have met a sweet person on Facebook who is due to go into hospital on Monday, and we were chatting by personnel messenger when she said I had made her a Happy Bunny and that she wished it was possible to get hold of a little bunny with that message on it. Well I took the bull by the horns and mentioned this to Janet Roberts from Pink Gem Designs, not actually expecting anything quite as quickly as she was in creating this cute and gorgeous image for anyone to use.
Of course I had to get my little mitts on it quickly and create this gorgeous card that Janet created as well as the actual image, if your also interested in getting your hands on it to you will find it here and if you just want the digi image to create your own card you will find it here.
I printed the three sheets that actually create this card and layered both the insert and the front onto green card and then cut out all the decoupage and layered it with silicone glue. I do hope you love it as much as I do, and this card will be winging its way to my special friend as she is unfortunately due to go into hospital on Monday for a operation, and I want to wish her all the best and a speedy recovery so she can get back to crafting.

Anyway this weeks Challenge over at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is all about "Spring Delights" and Im sure you like me are looking forward to the warmer weather, I love spring and the most delightful thing is seeing the daffodils flowering and here in Gloucestershire we have a lot of wild ones as well at the sides of the roads.
As always our sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

But this is providing you have used one of their products on your card and this could be either a Image, Paper or Printable and you will find lots to choose from here on their website The Paper Shelter, and even if you havent they will still give you 3 digi images of your own
And for my card I have used these cheeky fellows

And for my image I have used "Spring Elves" and you will find it here, I have printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it and afterwards I used a Nestabilitie die to cut it out with a fancy one for the mount, Ive also used a sentiment and mounted it onto a piece of the same card as I used the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the first mount is the same green card that I used for my image and the paper is from the background that came with the image and you will find it here. I then placed my mounted image in the center and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
For the final flourish is the butterfly that I cut using a Tattered Lace die and mounted at the top of the image.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see for yourself what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for the challenge and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this "Spring Delights" Challenge.

ABC Challenges - "F is for Festive"

Good Morning Crafters, we have now reached the letter "F" over on ABC Challenges and for this one the theme thats been chosen is "F is for Festive" and we are being sponsored by Magnolia-licious

http://magnoliastamps.us/index.php

And I decided to use one of my own Magnolia stamps and I chose this one

I stamped her onto white card and then I used my Chameleon pens, these I found quite difficult to use but I hope the end result isnt to bad (though I have now sold the pens as I much prefer the copics) I cut it out with a Nestabilitie die and used a fancy one for the mount which I cut out of blue card. The sentiment is one from my stash and have stamped it and cut it out with a smaller die from the same dies.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the paper I chose to use is from Maya's "Coffee in the Arbour" paper set, I have used just one of the papers and then I laid a pearl spray on top before mounting my image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of I have used three paper flowers in the top left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see for yourself what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "F is for Festive" Challenge.

Pink Gem Challenges - "Pretty in Pink" - Challenge #140

Good Morning Gemsters, over on The Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot its time for Claire from the Pinks Design Team to come up with a theme and she has chosen "Pretty in Pink" and well I hope Ive risen to the Challenge, but first I must tell you that Janet of Pink Gem Designs is one very talented lady and she does create some stunning images to play with and I hope that you will pay her website a visit and see for yourself.

http://www.pinkgemdesigns.com/catalog/index.php
And I decided to use this cute Grace Image for my card,

And shes certainly been "Pinked" as you can see and you will find "Fairy Grace" here,  I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, I then cut her out completely. The sentiment was one I created on my computer and cut it out with a circle die and a larger one for the mount out of pink card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of pink card and the papers I have used are from Pink Gems "Sweetheart" papers and you will find them here. I have used two papers from the set and layered them as you can see, I also place a oval doily at the top and over this I have laid a Tonic Fairy Die Cut and placed my image at the side of it.
I also wrapped a piece of pink ribbon around the card on the left and created a flower display in the top left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully we shall see your card in the Challenge.

ABC Challenges - "E is for Exceptionally Cute"

Good Morning Crafters, well hopefully Spring is nearly here, I have some daffodils trying to come out and Tulips I love this time of year when everything is beginning to grow all that new growth makes you feel alive again.
Anyway over on ABC Challenges this 5th Challenge is "E is for Exceptionally Cute" and we are being sponsored by Sherri Baldy

https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/SherriBaldy?ref=shopsection_shophome_leftnav

and I chose to use one of my own images for the Challenge

unfortunately she doesnt appear to have a name other than Image #175 and you will find her Im sure on Sherri Baldy website here. I have printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a rectangle Nestabilitie die to cut her own and stamped a sentiment and used the same die set for the mount for this also.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of blue card I then used Maya's three "Sofiere" papers for my layers and and along the edges of each I have used a similar hole design border punch from Martha Stewart as the one for the mount under the image.
I wrapped a piece of white wrinkle organza ribbon with a blue silk one on top around the left hand side and placed my mounted image in the middle, and created a bow from the whit ribbon and placed it on top of the blue silk in the center.
To finish of I used three white pearls in the top right hand corner and placed my sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration in this "E is for Exceptionally Cute" Challenge.
