Pink Gem Designs - "Do you want to build a Snowman"

Good Morning All Gemsters, well I know this theme is a bit previous and hopefully it wont turn out to cold this winter, but it seems one of our Design Team thought it was time to consider the request of "Do you want to build a Snowman" for this fortnights theme as Pink Gem Designs has some really lovely Winter Snowman Images on her website

So here is my choice of Image for this Challenge.

This little chap is called "Chilly with Robins" and you will find him here, I printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used a Wild Rose die to cut him out and I inked within the edge of the diecut with a blue inkpad.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first layer of blue card, the papers are from Pink Gem Designs "Snowflake" Designs and you will find them here. I have used two papers a blue one for the base and a red one of top and I used snowflake border punch from Martha Stewart down the edge. I also used some of the same blue card as the first layer to emboss a sentiment on and die cut the sentiment for the right side edge.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to Pink Gems Designs Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Do you want to build a Snowman" Challenge to.

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well as its only a couple of weeks left of the Childrens Summer Holiday I thought it was time to get those cards created for the little ones who are starting School and the older children going on to either a new Secondary School or Colleges and have chosen the theme "Back to School".
As always our sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

And as always this comes with the rule that you must have used one of their products on your card or project, but even if you havent used you will still be eligible for 3 digi images of your own choice, so you really cannot loose can you. You will find lots of Images, Papers and Printables on their website here "The Paper Shelter" and the money exchange is extremely good so you will find they very reasonable to buy, I hope you enjoy your browse on their website.
And now for my own Card

The Image I have used is "Vintage Teacher" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens. I then cut her out with my rotatrim and mounted her onto a piece of dark brown card, the sentiment is one I created on my computer and then printed it out and mounted it in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of brown card and the backing papers I have used for this card is also from the "Vintage Teacher" you will find it here with the Image.
I then used a piece of note paper which was then torn and inked to distress it, and this was placed on top of the first mount. I then placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment below towards the right. The final flourish are the ABC buttons and 123 ones as well.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Back to School" Challenge.

ABC Challenges - "P is for Pretty in Pink"

Good Morning Crafters, I was caught out on the 1st August with my ABC Challenge DT post and this time I have decided to get ahead of scheduling my post, so todays theme over on ABC Challenges Blogspot  is "P is for Pretty in Pink" and we are being sponsored by Marianne Designs.

And here is the card I created for it.

I have used clear stamp HM9470 and stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a large oval die from Marianne designs and inked through the holes around the edge. I did the same with the sentiment that also came from the same die set.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of pink card, the papers are also from Marianne Designs and its a Vintage paper set, I have used three of the papers and layered them up as you can see. I then placed my mounted image towards the left with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
To add embellishiments I used 6 pink pearls in opposite corners and a large butterfly in the top right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "P is for Pretty in Pink" Challenge.

A Card using the new Heartfelt Sparkling Poinsettia Stamps

Good Morning Crafters, well unfortunately as Ive not managed to create a card for this weeks theme over on Facebooks "Sundays with Santa" - Ribbons and Lace but as I had created several cards a couple of weeks ago I hope that it wouldnt be to much a disappointment in uploading this one.
Ive used the Collage stamp by stamping it onto white card then colouring it with my copic pens, I then cut it out around the stamp edge and layered it up onto red card, I also used one of the backing paper designs from the stamp and paper Design Set and layered this also up onto red card.
I used one of the ticket sentiments and layered this also up onto red card.
I hope you like the result, I should also say that my hubby has been trying to update my main desktop machine to Windows 10 and is not having much fun with all the settings so Im having to manage on my backup machine.
