The Paper Shelters Christmas Break - "Anything Goes"

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, I do hope you enjoyed our Blog Hop and now we have reached our last Challenge of the year, this is a "Anything Goes" one and it will last 3 weeks so because the Design Teams are bound to be very busy we wont be commenting on any of the entries so dont be surprised as it gives them the chance to spend it with their families instead.
But before I show you my card I know that you will want to know who our sponsors are for this weeks Challenge and as usual they are The Paper Shelter themselves and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30 spend on The Paper Shelter website

but this is providing you have used one of their products on your card and this could be a Image, Paper or Printable and you will find lots to choose from on their website and even if you dont use them they will still offer you 3 images of your own choice, so you really cannot loose can you? Please also remember you are allowed to enter three projects but one of these must carry one of our products please.
And here is the Card I created for this Challenge.

This little chap is called "What did I get" and you will find him here, I printed him about 4 times onto photo paper and then cut him out into layers to create decoupage which I then layered up to create depth.
Afterwards I mounted him onto a piece of red card and then onto a white card base 6.50"x 6.50" in size.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and I do so hope that you will take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge.
I want to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and I personally and my A Team will be back with a brand new Challenge on January 18th, but The Paper Shelter will have its first Challenge on January 11th and it will be hosted by the B Team and Marie.

ABC Challenges "V is for Varied"

This is a sad time over at ABC Challenges unfortunately Nikki has decided to close the Challenge Blog down because of personal things and this is our last Challenge and we have reached the letter "V is for Varied", but fortunately for this one we are being sponsored by Aurora Wings

Aurora Wings

And here is the Card I created for this Challenge

This little image is titled "Holly Sprite" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut her out with one of my Spellbinders dies and cut a larger one our ot red card for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been been stamped and mounted as shown in the photo.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a backing paper from one of the Creative Expressions paper pads, and in two of the corners I have used a holly corner diecut and I then placed my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment underneath. I also diecut two holly branches and placed them down the right hand side.
Now that youve seen my Card I hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the Design Team has created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in our last "V is for Varied" Challenge and we look forward to seeing what you create for us.

Pink Gem Designs Christmas "Anything Goes" Challenge

Good Morning Gemsters this is Pink Gem Designs last Special Challenge for this year and as its almost Christmas its to be a "Anything Goes" themed one, as always our sponsor is Janet Roberts of Pink Gem Designs

And you will find lots of gorgeous images to buy on her website "Pink Gem Designs" and for my card I used these cute little chaps.

These are called "Penquin Post Box" and you will find them here, I printed them onto white card then used my copic pens to colour them, afterwards I cut them our with one of my rectangle dies and a fancy snowflake one for the mount out of blue card. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been stamped onto another piece of white card and mounted also onto a snowflake tag.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the papers I have used are also from Pink Gem Designs they are called "Snowflake" and you will find them here.
I used four of the papers and layered them up as shown in the photo, I used a snowflake border punch from Martha Stewart and punch them down the edges.
I then wrapped a wide ribbon around them and attached it to the back of the first mount and placed my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner, to finish of I have put pearls in three of the corners.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pop over to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team members have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge.

The Paper Shelter 6th Birthday Blog Hop - "A Special Birthday Card"

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers as promised today we are celebrating The Paper Shelters 6th Birthday and we are going to do this by hosting a Blog Hop with both the A and B Design Teams taking part. I do hope you enjoy visiting all the girls to see what stunning cards they have to show you but dont forget to leave a comment on each stop along the way with a chance to win a free digi by doing so.
We are also hosting a two week Challenge so dont forget to also create a "Special Birthday Card" to take part in the Challenge and we are still giving a prize of $30 to the winner to spend on their website The Paper Shelter, the usual rules still apply that you must have used one of their products on your card but even if you don't they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice.

The Hop is our way of inviting you to join in with us and to celebrate as you have already been told the theme is a  "A Special Birthday Card" which I know will be extremely popular!!!! If you have landed here from our Challenge Blog then you're heading in the right direction - if not then you'll want to head on back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to start again, as you'll not want to miss out on this one! Our Design Teams have worked very hard and are showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter Website and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot.

For my card I have used this sweet "Art Nouveau Bloom" image and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card they used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a circle die to cut her out and layered her up on a fancy larger one for the mount out of blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image "Art Nouveau Bloom" and this will be found here, I then wrapped a blue silk ribbon around the middle and attached it to the back of the mount.
I then cut some leaf flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die and stuck them along the bottom and then placed my mounted image in the center. The sentiment is one from my stash thats been mounted onto another piece of blue card and then placed in the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used blue pearls in the top two opposite corners.
From here you will need to hop on over to Anna's. Don't forget to leave your comment for a chance of winning your choice of one of the fab digis available in store.
Hop! Hop! Hop!
Good luck and hope you're enjoying it so far.
