And this image is called "Aquarius" and you will find it here, I printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I used a rectangle Spellbinders die to cut it out and a fancy one for the mount out of dark blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the backing paper is from the same design set and the image and you will find it here. I then used  printed it onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens afterwards I used a die cut to mount the image before placing it on the backing paper I used a doily behind the image and the final flourish are the gems in three of the corners.
The sentiment is one from my stash that was stamped onto another piece of white card and mounted onto a piece of the same blue card and placed in the bottom right hand corner, with the mounted image in the center.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and take part in our "Anything Goes" Challenge.

Challenge #405 - Card for a Child - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well I hope by the time this post goes live I will have a fully functioning kitchen as so far (previsous Thursday) its been a nightmare, they positioned the dishwasher so you cannot open the door completely, and the electrician put the box behind the cooker so it stands out far to much at least 4 inches away from the way, you can guess what will happen if they dont sort that out, at the moment we have just left them to it and disappeared upstairs with the dogs out of the way.
Anyway this is not getting my post written, this weeks theme is all about making and posting

A Card for a Child

of course this can cover many different occasions so we leave the choice entirely up to you.

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well I sincerely hope that you are enjoying more free time now the children are back at School, I dont know about you but it is nice not to have a load of them screaming and shouting around your back gate causing our dogs to continually bark, but having raised four children myself I looked forward to them going back to School as by the end of 6 weeks holiday they were getting rather bored.
This weeks theme is all about Embossing, this can be either by Embossing Folder, Dies or even Embossing Powder, for me I used the die

Embossing of any Kind

edge as I love the effect it left around my image and the mount.

The sentiment was created in the same way with a stamp and a smaller pair of dies.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of same blue card and the backing paper is also from the "Sports Star" design set where you will find it here. Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, wow this Summer holiday has flown by in less that probably a week the children will be returning to School for their Autumn Term, like many of them my hubbys granddaughter who turned 11 in August she will be starting her Secondary School and my card is a way of wishing her good luck and hoping she will enjoy her time there, so the theme this week is

Back to School

as you can image this is mainly a theme to cover those that are going or starting new School but if you havent anyone in your family doing so instead maybe they are starting College or even University so perhaps we can stretch this to cover this as well.

I printed this image "Ready for School" and you will find it here, onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut her out and a fancy one with the blue card to create a mount for it. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been stamped and mounted onto another piece of the same blue card.
For the base card I used a white 6.50"x 6.50" card with a first mount a piece of the same blue card as used on the image and sentiment, on top of this is the backing paper that came with the image and you will find it here.

This young lady is titled "Trekking Girl" you will find her here, and I thought this image was ideal for my eldest daughter who loves being outdoors, either jogging or walking, as she now lives in Indonesia she has lots of opportunity to do both.
I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of green card.
The base card is a 6.50"x6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image and you will find it here. The sentiment is a stamp from my stash and has also been mounted on a piece of green card and placed in the bottom right hand corner.
I then placed my mounted image in the middle of the card, and in the top two corners I have used some punched out butterflies in green card and then placed some gems along the folded edge.

For my own card Ive used this image "Jogging with Rythm" which you will find here, Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount in pink card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the first mount is also the same pink card and the mount, on top of this I have used the backing paper that came with the image and you will find it here. The reason for using this gorgeous image is that my eldest daughter is very keen on jogging and often goes out with her hubby around the Indonesian park where she lives and I felt it was an idea subject to make a card for her.
The sentiment is one from my stash and mounted in the same way as the image, Ive also used a strip of lace on top of a wide pink ribbon which has been wrapped around the middle of the card then the mounted image was placed on top in the center with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
