A Card for two Challenges

Good Evening All, sorry Im so late today it seems to becoming a habit of my posting late but today weve been swimming and the day has flown by. And its only 4 days to go before we fly of to warmer climates Im really looking forward to it, we are both getting excited and I do hope that it comes upto our expectation and from what weve read on the internet its been in the 20s so Gran Canaria here I come.
Anyway todays card is for the following Challenges Cute Card Thursdays "Tic Toc" and Lili of the Valleys "Bev's Sketch" and Ive used this sweet little lass with her dog sitting on a swing for my main image. Ive stamped and coloured her with my copic pens before using a rectangle die to cut her out, the sentiment is one of the Stampinup stamps and I cut it out with an oval die as it didnt quite fit on a circle as the sketch requires. Both of these have been mounted on scalloped die cuts.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of blue card, and three papers from Donna's of Bearly Mine downloads, and they are Flowers, Plaids and Dots, she does create some fabulous papers and I felt these were the best suited to this card. Ive used a beautiful flowered one for the first mount and plaid and dot ones were used for the two other mounts, across the middle Ive used a strip of lace which has been attached to the card with two gem brads.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle and my sentiment at the bottom on the right, and to finish of Ive created a flower spray with several sizes of roses and asters, and this was stuck to my card with some silicone glue, pearl sprays and some punched out leaves.

One Card three Challenges

Good Afternoon All, sorry Im a bit late today but I only decided I ought to make a card at lunchtime so it was a question of getting my finger out and start creating, anyway Ive decided to enter it into the following challenges Cute Card Thursdays "Sketch by Leann", Totally Papercrafts "A Little bit of Magic" and Stampin' for the Weekends "Tag it", and Ive used this gorgeous image from Whiff of Joy,  and I stamped it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it after which I used the circle die to cut it out, the mount is one of the new Beaded Circle dies, the sentiment is another from WOJ thats also been stamped onto white card before cutting out with one of the tag dies, then Ive used some mauve ink to distress it around the edge, then punched a hole through the top and fed a piece of ribbon through the hole and used a staple to keep together.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first layer of mauve card and one of two papers from Kay Miller Downloads this one is called "Cutie pa Tutie" its a gorgeous all over pattern of leaves and flowers on a purple background, then I cut a strip for across the centre of the second paper a pink one with flowers on and used my new border punch from Martha Stewart across two edges, its called Swirling Lace and I managed to obtain from a US seller on Ebay, its gorgeous.
I then positioned my mounted image in the centre and my tag to the bottom left hand side, to finish of Ive punched out two Doo Hickey Hydrangea flowers and then positioned a couple of roses on top of them, before sticking them to my card Ive used some silicone glue and some fern leaves and popped the flowers on top.

A Card for two Challenges

Good Morning Ladies, only six days to go before we jet of hopefully to some hot weather, and I carnt wait it was so awful here yesterday, there was rain and mist most of the afternoon, so looking forward to some decent weather will keep me going for the rest of the week.
Todays card is to be entered into two challenges Just Magnolia's "Dawny Ps Sketch" and Totally Tilda Challenge "Glitter and Sparkle" and Ive used this sweet image of Tilda in her winter togs, and decided to create a Christmas Easel Card with it, Ive stamped and then coloured her with my copic pens and used some glitter on her wings, and a product I didnt know I had, it says glitter on the label but it seems to have something else in it to and I decided to use it as the fluff on her hat and muff. I then cut around the legs before cutting her out with my rectangle Nestabilitie die and used the scalloped one for the mount. The sentiment is one I bought from Oyster Stamps last week they are by Kaisercraft, its got a really lovely friendship sentiment in the pack.
The card is a 6"x 6" easel card, and Ive used some backing paper that I received in a magazine last week, this one is a blue base with snowmen on it, and some text, Ive used some glue and glitter on the snowballs, Ive actually used it as the base mount for the inside as well as the out, on top of this for the cover Ive used a piece of white pearlescent card that Ive run through the cuttlebug with a snowflake embosing folder, then a snowflake punch in the corners. Then Ive wraped a ribbon around the middle and positioned my mounted image on top.
The inside is almost the same except I put a strip of the same embossed card across the middle with a narrow ribbon wraped around the middle then mounted sentiment in the middle. To finish of Ive created four snowflakes and dipped them into crushed glass glitter then stuck them around the mounted image on the front.

I have used this fabulous digi image from Mo Manning, and I coloured it with my copic pens then used Nestabilitie Die No.8 to cut it out, I also used the same die to draw around to create the mount out of brown card. The sentiment is one of my stash ones by Inspirations, this was stamped onto a piece of white card, and with a small leaf spray stamped around the edge.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of brown card and one of three papers from the Nitwit Downlads, this set are called "Autumn Enchantment" the first paper is an all over pattern of leaf sprays on a cream/green base, the second is a brown paper with large and small leaves on, and the third is a plaid one these two are mounted on two pieces of brown card. A Card for Kennys Challenge - A Sketch by Donna

Good Afternoon hope you are enjoying your weekend, this morning when I woke up it was freezing or at least it felt like that it was definitely 14 degrees and thats cold for me, so I got out our winter Duvet and soon changed it over from the summer one, I dont want to have to put on the heating just yet or not until we get back from our holiday, hubby found out its 25 degrees in Gran Canaria and that sounds fabulous to me so I carnt wait to go.
Anyway todays card has been created for Kennys Challenge this week, and our dear friend Donna has created a fabulous sketch for it, Kenny has also just released a lot of new digi images "Critterz" and Ive actually used the freebie one that I was on offer on his website (he has monthly freebies for you if youd like to pop across and see http://www.kennykdownloads.com/, this month its a young lad). Anyway I printed them out and coloured this saucy dog and his girlfriend "Devilish Donna" with my copic pens, then cut them out completely before creating my card.
The card is a 7"x 7" base card with a first layer of blue card, the two papers I have used are from Donnas own papers from her Designer Extreme Vol.1 Cd and if you click on the link here it will take you to her website for you to purchase all her fabulous creations. Ive used this lovely all over balloon design and also a dark blue background with swirling star pattern on, this is the one I used for the base layer, and the other one was cut in two to create the two mounts across the middle. On top of this I have positioned my Eyelet Circle diecut in blue, with a circle of red in the centre, on this I mounted my image with the dog just to the right of her at the bottom.
The sentiment is one that I created on my computer and have printed and mounted this also on to a piece of blue card and this was stuck at the bottom on the left, to finish of I have stuck some star gems all around the image in the middle.

A Card for LOV Challenge - "Alternative Christmas"

Good Afternoon Ladies I suspect you are all looking forward to the weekend lets hope the weather improves as its not particularly nice today, anyway todays card is for this weeks Lili of the Valley's "Alternative Christmas", and Ive used this sweet image of a teddy bear carrying his pressies, and although Ive used conventional colours for him I just couldnt bring myself to colour him differently so I hope it wont upset the applecard. Ive coloured him with my copic pens and then with some quickie glue and glitter on his hat I then used the new Labels Nestabilitie die No.15 its a really lovely one this time, I then used the die to create the mount out of some dark mauve card. The sentiment is yet another of the LOV stamps, this was cut out with the ribbon tag.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with the first layer of the same dark card with one of two papers I found in a magazine, a very dark mauve background with white snowmen, snowflakes and snowballs on it, on top of this Ive stuck a square of pink snowflake paper that has been punched around the edge with a snowflake border punch by Martha Stewart. Then across the bottom Ive put my sentiment which has a spotted ribbon threaded through the holes and attached it to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was positioned in the middle on the square and Ive popped a snowman button at the top on the right hand side.

A Card for two Challenges

Good Afternoon Ladies, hope that the sunshine is out with you as it is with us though I believe we are to expect more rain later on, but I will be keeping my fingers crossed that theyve got that one wrong. Also I want to say thank you so much for the lovely comments on my bow from my last posting, it was a bit of a cheat to be honest and I didnt have quite enough to make a proper bow, so I had to do a running stitich across the crossed over tails then down the middle at the back and draw it all together and knot it of, then I popped the rose over the stitching and I was quite surprised how good it looked afterwards.
Anyway back todays posting its a card that Ive created for two challenges Mo's "Bling, Bling and more Bling" and Cute Card Thursdays "Leann's Sketch", and Ive used this Christmas Fairy Mint image from Mo, and coloured her with my copic pens and even used some glitter on the wings after which I cut her out with my circle Nestabilitie die, and used the new Eyelet Circle for the mount, the sentiment is one of the Kaiser ones I got from Oyster Stamps, and so cheap at £2.99 for quite a set of clear stamps.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of blue card and one of Donna's Bearly Mine Xmas papers, an all over candy canes which I felt went well with my image on top of this I have wrapped a piece of lace and attached it to the back of the first mount. I then stuck my mounted image in the middle, and my sentment was positioned at the bottom on the right hand side.
I then created four double layered snowflakes from the Martha Stewart Punches, and before doing this I dipped them into glue and some crushed glass glitter, and stuck them to my card along the top. I also created some gem swirls at the bottom on the left hand side.

A Card for two Challenges

Good Morning Ladies well here we are yet another week nearer to Christmas dont you agree that this year has gone whizzing by and I carnt believe that the summer is nearly over, luckily my hubby has at last managed to book us a holiday in the Canaries in a couple of weeks and Im hoping it will be a bit warmer there than here at the moment.
Todays card has been created for two challenges, Penny Black at Allsorts "Punch Away" and Totally Papercrafts "Happy Birthday", and Ive used this cute little lass from PB for my image, Ive stamped her onto smooth white card and coloured her with my copic pens, after which I cut her out with my rotatrim and mounted her onto some blue card. The senitment is one of my stash ones and this was mounted in the same way.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of blue card and one of four papers from my Kay Miller "Light of my Life" downloads, the first paper is a very pretty blue flower all over pattern and for the other three I have cut strips and used my doily Martha Stewart punch along all the edges and layered them up and positioned on the right hand side, and over the seam Ive used a pretty ribbon and attached it to the back of the first layer.
The mounted image was then positioned in the middle and the sentiment to the bottom right hand side.
The two flowers are ones I created from a tutorial in the Stampin Up magazine, and Ive popped some pearls in the centers of them.

A Card for Mo's Challenge

Well Good Morning Ladies here we are with yet another Challenge Card, this one is for this weeks Mo's Digital Challenge "Bright White", and I decided to create a Xmas card as its was a good excuse to not only get another Xmas card done it also lent itself to the challenge so easily. Ive used this snowman image for my card and coloured him with my copic pens and some glitter on his hat, scarf and gloves, Ive also popped some of the Cosmic Shimmer pva glue along the edges of the arms and hat just to make it look as though its got snow on them. The image was then cut out with my square Nestabilie die, and I then used a scalloped one for the mount. The sentiment is one of the LOV ones and Ive stamped it onto a piece of white card and mounted this on to a double ended tag die, and attached it to the bottom with some white staples.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of card that Ive stamped with some Versafine and used some snow flakes stamps on then with some white embossing powder Ive embossed them. On top of this Ive layered up a piece of vellum that has some white stars on, this was created into a square with the all around snowflake punches from Martha Stewart, it was then stuck in a diamond shape with the mounted image mounted on top.
To finish of Ive created four snowflakes with the punches from Martha Stewart and some crushed glass glitter, these were stuck around image at the top and bottom on the left hand side.

A Card for two Challenges - Just Magnolia and Totally Tilda

Well Good Afternoon Ladies Im sorry Im bit late today posting my card, Ive only just got around to creating it so thats reason why. Todays card is being entered for the Just Magnolia's "Lace Up" and for Totally Tilda's "Make your Own Flowers" and Ive used this gorgeous new Japanese image of Tilda, and coloured her with my copic pens before cutting her out with an Oval Nestabilitie Die, and then used the new Crowned Oval die from Spellbinders for the mount, the sentiment is one of the Penny Black ones, this one was punched out with the small label dies and Ive created a mount with a larger one.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of mauve card and one of two papers from the Dovecraft Oriental designs, this first one is a pale mauve with an all over flower pattern, the second paper is a green base paper with a mauve flower pattern on, Ive used a flower border punch along both the edges and stuck it across the middle. On top of this I have stuck two strips of lace and over this is a piece of mauve card that Ive put through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder.
The stamped image was then positioned in the middle and my sentiment was stuck at the bottom on the right hand side. My flowers are ones that Ive created with several punched out circles and scalloped circles than Ive used silkies paint on, then I let them dry and then scrunched them up, after which Ive put a pearl brad through the centres before mounting them on my card with some punched out fern leaves and some silicone.

A Card for Kennys Challenge - "Embossing"

Good Morning Ladies, well I hope youve been good and not bad like my little lady has, todays card is to be entered in this weeks Kennys K Challenge "Embossing" and Ive used this image for my card, firstly I printed her onto white smooth card and coloured her with my copic pens, after which Ive cut her out with my oval Nestabilitie Die, the mount Ive used is one of the new beaded Oval dies from Spellbinders, and Ive used the same kind for the sentiment but used a smaller one for this.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of pink card and one of two papers from Donna's Bearlymine downloads, the first one is from the distressed papers, and the second which is a bit difficult to see is one of the plaids, Ive actually created a square with this one and punched it with one of the border and corner punches from Martha Stewart, on top of this is a piece of silver mirri board thats been embossed with stars, these were put off centre. Across the centre Ive wrapped a piece of my white lace and attached it to the back of the first mount.
On top of this Ive stuck my image and my sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of Ive created a flower spray down the left handside, with some asters, roses  and pearl sprays, these were stuck to the card with some punched out leaves and silicone. The last thing I did was position three pink pearls down the right hand side at the top.

Sarah Hallam's last two Samples

I am posting today the last two samples I created for Sarah from her brand new CD above as it will be  previewed on Create and Craft tomorrow at 8am and I do so hope that you will be watching and seeing the fabulous and stunning samples she will be showing from all her Design Team and especially from Sarah herself, I can tell you she has made the most beautiful carousel and Im sure if you pop across to her website you will see it for yourself  http://www.spanglefish.com/peerlessdesigns/newreleases.asp
and be amazed at it as I have been.
This is the first sample and Ive used a digi stamp from the CD that I have printed then coloured it with my copic pens, afterwards I cut it out with one of the Octagonal Nestabiltie Die then used a Scalloped one for mount, the sentiment is one from my stash its probably a Hero Arts one though I carnt be totally sure at the moment.
The easel card is a 7"x 7" card and Ive used two of the beautiful papers from the CD, I chose a base blue one for the first layers which were stuck to blue card, the second paper on the front is another from the same set but is in a pinky colour and Ive created two squares with one of my corner and border punches this was then off set to create a star, across the centre Ive used a lace strip that has had a ribbon threaded through the centre, it was attached to the back of the first layer.
The inside is the same first paper but I have just created a strip across the middle with the same pinky paper and on top of this I have stuck the stamped sentiment. To finish of the front I have stuck my image in the centre and created a flower spray in the left hand top corner, and popped two blue gems at the top and bottom of the right hand side.

This is the second sample its a Christmas Shaker Card, and for this one I have used a gorgeous image from the CD, it looks so like a Xmas horse that I decided to use it for such, for the outside I have printed the image onto photo paper and mounted it onto a piece of red holographic card.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer is another piece of the same holographic card, and on top of this I have used two papers from the same design set, a red one which I have punched along the edge and positioned it down the right hand side of the card, then on top of this I have put the second paper, and around the seam I have used a sentiment ribbon, a white one with red writing on. To finish of the front I have stuck three poinsetta's along the bottom.
For the inside I have used two more pieces of the same holographic card for the first layers and then used a further dps from the this design set, its a lovely one with a line of carousel horses along the bottom of the page. On top of this I have created a shaker, and that has been down my printing two of the horse images onto photo card, and then used one for the background and then stuck foam tape all around the four edges, then dropped some flowersoft in the middle. Then on top I have used another of the printed toppers that I have cut out and stuck a piece of acetate behind to create the shaker topper this was then stuck on the right handside  page of the inside of the card.
I do so hope that you will be watching the program on Thursday 16th at 8am and she will also be on Create and Craft again on Friday Morning the 17th again at 8am, to see what a fabulous Cd this is, Sarah is a really wonderful talented lady and I have known her for many years and have always marvelled at her work and I think you will to, though you can always buy her products directly from her website and she doesnt charge p&p which certainly helps in this day and age and you can also see her other beautiful CDs as well.

My last two samples for Karen

The first card, is a church scene that I stamped and coloured with my copic pens after which I have litterally covered the snow with flowersoft to give it dimension, and on the windows and star I have used some glossy accents. The image was then cut out using the Nestabilitie Die No.8 and I created the mount with the same die but I drew around the outer edge then cut it out. The sentiment is yet another of the stamps from Karen of Crafty Ideas by Kaz, Ive also cut it out with the smaller die in the same way as the main image.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of red card with just one layer of paper from the new Papermania pad "Classic Christmas", Ive used a snowflake corner punch then stuck it to the red card, then around the middle Ive wrapped a wide piece of ribbon which has poinsetta's and holly leaves and berries on it. On top of this Ive stuck my image at the top and my sentiment underneath it in the centre.
And this is the second one, its a large snowman playing snow football, Ive stamped him onto smooth white card and then coloured his hat and scarf with a red promarker pen (their red is a better colour) then used lots of glitter all over him, his hat turnup and bobble and along the ground, then cut him out with my Nestabilitie Die No.1 then like my last card I drew around the die to create the mount which I then cut it out by hand. Again the senitment is one of Karens from the stamp sets.
The base card is again 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of red card with one of the papers from the new Dovecraft "Jolly Happy Christmas" paper pack, then around the middle I used a red ribbon with gold holly leaves and berries on it, on top of this Ive positioned my mounted image then stuck the sentiment below it in the centre.
To finish of Ive created three snowflakes with the snowflake punches from Martha Stewart, then before sticking them one on top of the other, Ive stuck some crushed glass glitter on the ends and then positioned them down the left hand side of the card, and the last thing is the snowman button at the bottom on the right.
I do so hope you will pop across and see these new stamps sets on Karens website, she really has a fantastic shop and her p&p is free and you can rely on her getting your goodies to you speedly.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of blue card and one of two papers from the DVWC pad "All about Boys" set of design papers, the first one is a multi stripped one which I have used a border punch on, and the paper that Ive overlaid is a beige one, Ive also used a strip of this on top of the stripped on and a harlequin blue ribbon across the centre and attached it to the back of the base layer.
Ive then positioned my mounted image in the centre of this base layer and my sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have stuck four buttons at the two opposite corners, but before doing so Ive threaded some thin black ribbon through the holes and tied knots in them,

A Third Sample for Karen

Good Morning Ladies, hope that you are enjoying your weekend, todays card is the third sample for my friend Karen of Crafty Ideas by Kaz as I said a couple of days ago Karen has asked me to create some samples to preview her new line in Christmas stamps, I do hope that you will pop across and have a look at them. Karen has a fantastic shop and carrys all the new Magnolia stamps plus her own CDs the "Ultimate Verse Writer" which allows you to create your own inserts, and the "Pyramid Crazy" CD which allows you to create your own pyramid toppers and papers for your cards, Karen is a very talented lady and Im sure you will find some really lovely goodies when you browse her website.
Todays card has been created with this cheeky Santa design, Ive stamped him onto white smooth card and then coloured him again with my promarkers, and used glitter for his hat and flowersoft for his beard and moustache, then Ive used my Nestabilitie Labels die No.4 to cut him out, I then used it again on some red card then rotated it behind the stamped image. Again the sentiment is one from the same set of stamps and this has been treated in the same way, before actually mounting both Ive run some more glitter around the edges of both the image and the sentiment then stuck them to the mount with some foam tape.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first layer of red card and one of the papers from the Dovecraft "Jolly Happy Christmas" card/paper set of designs, and Ive used a sentiment one which I have stuck to the right of my base layer, and then used a piece of white card that Ive run through the cuttlebug with a snowflake embossing folder and before sticking it to the other side of the card Ive used the snowflake border punch down the edge. On top of the seam I have put a wide ribbon which has a white base and red and green poinsettas and holly leaves and berries on, this was attached to the back of the first layer.
The mounted image was positioned in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side, to finish of Ive stuck two snowflake buttons at the top on the right.

The Second Sample for Karen

Good Afternoon Ladies, I do so hope you are enjoying your weekend the sun is out in Gloucestershire and its very warm, weve just got back from Abergevenny and Ross so we are feeling rather shattered, never mind I am now posting the second sample for Karen.
This one is of a cheeky snowman on his mobile phone and carrying a load of Xmas shopping, dont ask me where Karen got the idea but it certainly a very upto date snowman. Ive stamped him onto smooth white card and coloured him with my promarkers, theyve got a better red colour in their range, anyway after colouring him Ive used some glitter and spread it all over him, then cut him out with my Nestabilitie Die No.8 then drawn around the die to create the mount for him. The sentiment is another of Karens stamps and this was also stamped onto smooth white card and cut out with one of the labels trio dies, Ive mounted both the image and the sentiment onto some red card.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of red card and on top of this I have used three of the new Dovecoat "Let it Snow" paper/card pack patterns, this first one is a beige paper with a glittered snowman in the left hand corner (hes hidden behind my mounted image) and the second and third layers are a red all over robin pattern and the third is a beige background with smaller glittered snowmen on, with both of these Ive used the snowflake border punch down the one edge and stuck it to the right hand side of the card, and over these two Ive placed a greeting ribbon down and around to the back of the first layer.
To finish of Ive punched some snowflakes with my Martha Stewart punches, then used some crushed glass glitter on them and layered them up down the left hand side before sticking a pearl gem in the centres of each of them.

Thank You and My First Sample for Karen

I want to thank you so much for all the lovely good wishes that you sent us yesterday for our Wedding Anniversary, we did have a lovely day and the weather was gorgeous, so hot I didnt even have to wear a coat. We went to the Mall in Bristol and visited several shops both of us like to visit, like Maplins for hubby to treat himself to a new computer which he built himself, and me Hobbycrafts to buy a few crafty bits, I didnt go to mad as weve got a couple of craft shows in the furture that I would prefer to go mad at. Anyway we did go to John Lewis's for our dinner and that was lovely, so thank you again for your good wishes for us, we both appreciate that very much.
Anyway todays card has been created for a very special friend of mine, Karen Sayers of Crafty Ideas by Kaz :-
Ive known Karen for a couple of years she used to regularly appear on Create and Craft, but is now running her lovely craft shop in Wiversfield in East Sussex, and you can guess I do have a wonderful time spending when I visit her shop, shes got some really gorgeous things on offer, and she doesnt charge you postage and packing so its certainly worth giving her shop a visit.
Karen is now promoting some Christmas stamps on her website and has asked me if I wouldnt mine previewing them on some cards, so how could I let her down and heres my first sample, I do so hope you will enjoy and like it.
Ive used this beautiful image of a robin on some holly for my first card, Ive stamped him onto some smooth white card and coloured him with my promarkers popped lots of glitter all over the place and even some glossy accents on the berries, then cut him out with the new Nestabilitie Die Label 15, Ive used the die to draw around for the mount, before sticking them together Ive used a red catseye inkpad to distress the edges, the sentiment is yet another of Karens stamps and Ive used a couple of smaller label dies for this.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white easel card, and I used two papers from the new "Noel" Dovecraft Paper pad, this is a red and gold stripe this has been mounted onto pieces of red card. The inside one has been finished with a red tartan ribbon wrapped around and stuck to the back of this first mount and the sentiment stuck in the centre (though I do see its not quite in the centre, sorry about that).
The outer mount is made with exactly the same pattern as the inside but with a strip of green paper with silver glittered xmas tress on Ive used the holly border punch on both edges, this is one of Martha Stewarts punches. I then used the large Marianne circle die to create a second mount for my image this was then stuck on top of the second layer, and my mounted image positioned in the centre. To finish of Ive stuck three poinsetta's at the top, one large white and two smaller red ones, and some red gems on the two opposite corners.

Our 10th Wedding Anniversary

Good Morning Ladies, Im afraid Im skiving of today as its our 10th Wedding Anniversary and hubby Ian has offered to take me out to dinner today so I am just posting this photo taken at the Registrars Office in Cinderford to let you see me in all my finery. Ive got to admit Im definitely not as slim as I was that day due mainly to having an under active thyroid which plays havoc with any slimming I try to do.
Anyway I want to wish you all a wonderful day, take care and I will be back tomorrow hopefully.

A Card for Totally Tilda Challenge Blog - "Lavender and Lace"

Good Morning Ladies hope that you arnt getting the rain that we seem to be having, I will be scheduling this to appear on Wednesday morning as we are of to do our monthly shop in Cardiff so I might not have enough time to get this posted in the morning.
Anyway this card is for this weeks Totally Tilda Challenge "Lavender and Lace" and Ive used this new Tilda image of her as a little Indian girl, Ive stamped her onto coated white card and coloured her with my copic pens, Ive also used some stickles on the flowers and on her forehead. Ive then cut her out with a oval die and used one of the new beaded oval dies from Nestabilities, this was done with some mauve card, the sentiment is another of my stash ones and this was also mounted on a smaller one of the same dies.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card and for my first layer Ive used the same colour card and one of two papers from Donnas Extreme Designer Papers Vol.1 this set is from the purple set, the first one is a spot one and on top of this Ive used another of the papers and with the lace border Ive punched both edges and stuck it across the middle, on top of this is some lace in two strips stuck across the middle and on top of this is another piece of mauve card but this has been put through the cuttlebug with an embossing folder.
The mounted image was then stuck in the middle and the sentiment was stuck at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of Ive created a flower spray for the top left hand corner with some punched out fern leaves. The last thing are the gems stuck at the top on the right and bottom left.

A Card for Kennys Challenge - "Swirls and Pearls"

Good Morning Girls, well the weather has changed once more it looks as though we are in for an early Autumn lets hope its not going to be a bad winter after last years one Im not sure any of us wants one like that. I meant to tell you we had a phone call from New Zealand on Saturday from my brother in law, he lives in Christchurch and had been effected by the earthquake, he had a cupboard fall on his car, not sure what other damage he had but Im sure it wasnt much fun for him or his neighbours as the electric and other main services had been turned of because of it.
Anyway todays card has been created for Kennys challenge which is Swirls and Pearls, Ive used this young madam to colour and then cut her out with the new Nestabilitie Labels Die Fourteen, Ive used the die to draw around to create the mount as the next one up was to big for it. The sentiment is one of stash ones and this was stamped onto white card inked around the edge and mounted onto a piece of blue card. I should have said before mounting the image up Ive used a small florish stamp around the edge with some catseye inkpads, then mounted it up on the blue mount.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card and Ive used the papers from Donna's Extreme Designs Vol.1 these are all blue papers, the first one is an all over flower and swirl one, and the second is a butterfly swirl one, the third one is a dark blue paper with yet more swirls on and this one was cut in a strip and Ive used one of my arch border punches on it both sides, then ran a piece of the blue pearlescent card through my cuttlebug with a swirl embossing folder, this was then stuck across the middle of the third paper.
Ive then positioned my mounted image in the centre and my sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of Ive created two swirls with my bazzil basics template and some pearl gems, one at the top on the right and another at the bottom on the left. The last thing is the blue rose bouquet at the top on the left which has been stuck on with some silicone glue and a couple of pearl pins stuck in the centre and a blue ribbon wrapped around the bunch.
