A Card for two Challenges

Good Morning Ladies, only six days to go before we jet of hopefully to some hot weather, and I carnt wait it was so awful here yesterday, there was rain and mist most of the afternoon, so looking forward to some decent weather will keep me going for the rest of the week.
Todays card is to be entered into two challenges Just Magnolia's "Dawny Ps Sketch" and Totally Tilda Challenge "Glitter and Sparkle" and Ive used this sweet image of Tilda in her winter togs, and decided to create a Christmas Easel Card with it, Ive stamped and then coloured her with my copic pens and used some glitter on her wings, and a product I didnt know I had, it says glitter on the label but it seems to have something else in it to and I decided to use it as the fluff on her hat and muff. I then cut around the legs before cutting her out with my rectangle Nestabilitie die and used the scalloped one for the mount. The sentiment is one I bought from Oyster Stamps last week they are by Kaisercraft, its got a really lovely friendship sentiment in the pack.
The card is a 6"x 6" easel card, and Ive used some backing paper that I received in a magazine last week, this one is a blue base with snowmen on it, and some text, Ive used some glue and glitter on the snowballs, Ive actually used it as the base mount for the inside as well as the out, on top of this for the cover Ive used a piece of white pearlescent card that Ive run through the cuttlebug with a snowflake embosing folder, then a snowflake punch in the corners. Then Ive wraped a ribbon around the middle and positioned my mounted image on top.
The inside is almost the same except I put a strip of the same embossed card across the middle with a narrow ribbon wraped around the middle then mounted sentiment in the middle. To finish of Ive created four snowflakes and dipped them into crushed glass glitter then stuck them around the mounted image on the front.
This card is to be entered in the following challenges:-

Beautiful. I love the colours and the glitter makes her sparkle. Great layout.

Have a lovely time away soaking up some sun! Anything will be better than the weather we are getting up and down the country at the moment. Although saying that, we have blue skies and sun today, but a chill to the air!

Grrr. Don't know quite what happened there, I had to delete my message as it didn't make sense. I had to turn off the spell checker as it seems to change my words at will. Double grrr.

What I was trying to say

I love this card, and what is more, you have managed to capture the glitter effect in the card with the photo. Something I can never do, the camera seems to have a fit and so I try not to use shiny stuff. Hope you have a great holiday, and don't forget to come back to us, you will be missed!!!!

Hugs, Teresa xxx
