I know she was desparate to do this race for along time and now she has and has received her finishers medal to display amoung her other medals. She loves running and belongs to a running club in Lanarkshire (in Scotland) where she lives.

My Daughter Did it, she survived the London Marathon

Congratulations to Karen, I wouldn't be able to do it at all, and I'm pretty fit, which is probably why I appreciate what an achievement it is! Will you be making a special card for her to say well done?
Congrats to Karen, it's such an achievement.
Non of mine ran it this year, instead three of them are running the Edinburgh one next month, so we have a weekend away planned to watch them.
