Now back to our Challenge for today, its the old favourite "Anything Goes" Im sure most of us enjoy this theme as it gives us so much scope to play with, and as usual The Paper Shelter are sponsering us
As always The Paper Shelter are offering a gift voucher of $15 to the person whos picked by the random number picker and if that person has used one of their images they will get the full amount, but if they havent it doesnt matter as you will still be eligable for one of them so what ever happens its a win win situation.
And heres my card for this weeks Challenges.
I decided to use this sweet image titled "Look where I found you" and Ive printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic and tria pens, then used the Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut her out then used the die itself to draw around to create the mount out of deep mauve card. The sentiment is one that I Googled and then printed and mounted in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" and the first mount is a piece of mauve card with my first paper one of three papers from The Paper Shelters "Little Sylfie" digi papers the first paper is a pretty all over pink background with circles of mauve and different shades of pink spots and swirls, the second paper is a paisley pattern, and the third a stripe, I then used a large wide flowers ribbon that I wrapped around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount. The mounted image was then positioned in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, to finish of Ive used some of the left over paper to create three flowers with a Die-namic flower die, and these were attached to the card with some silicone glue in the top left hand corner, and the last little bit are the three pearls stuck in the two opposite corners.
I do hope that you like my card and its inspired you to go across to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented team have created for you, and hopefully it will give you ideas to create your own cards and take part in this weeks Challenge. Meet Missy the Garden Wrecker

Well Im not sure whether Im going to have any garden left after this little minx has finished wrecking my clematis, shed already pulled down one of the flowers before starting on this one. Shes settling down well so far shes been very clean and does all she needs to do outside, lets hope it carrys on that way, shes also been very good at night time, we put her to bed at 11pm and we dont hear anymore from her until I get up at 6am to let her out for her toilet.
Its been about 5 years since we had dogs so this is gradually all coming back to us, and at least we should get the worst of the training over before the bad weather starts in October, keep your fingers crossed we might even had a bit of summer as well to help.
I do hope you like meeting out little Missy, shes now officially been given this as her permanent name we eventually decided this is one really suits her personality, shes a right little Minnie the Mooch (her Pedigree name) as she has a habit of mooching all over the place.

Heres my card for the Challenge.
For my card I have used "Sophie in the Country" for my card and then printed her onto white card and coloured it with my copic and tria pens before using the Nestabilitie No.1 die to cut it out, I then used it to draw around to create the mount for it. The sentiment has been done in a similar way.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of mauve pearlescent card and one of two papers from "Sophie in the Country" digi set, the first one is a very pretty yellow flower background that Ive used the deep edged border and corner punch on, then on top is a strip of a green paper that has also had the edges punched this time with the cherish border punch down both sides, afterwards I wrapped a bright flower ribbon across the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, afterwards I created a flower spray in the top left hand corner with multi coloured cherry blossom flowers and punched out fern leaves which were stuck down with some silicone glue. The last thing I have done is to cut a 8"x 8" square and used the same deep edged Border and Corner punch to create a bigger mount for the base card to be stuck down on.

Bearlymine Designs Thirteenth Challenges - "Summertime"

If only I wish it was "Summertime" so far this year weve only had a few days of decent weather as its been cold, wet and windy but Im hoping that this fortnights Challenge will start to warm things up but dont blame me if it doesnt. Anyway this theme has been picked by my fellow Bearlymine Designs team member Marie and she has chosen this and we are being sponsered by the following companies.

And what fabulous prizes they are to and Im sure you will definitely want to have a chance of winning them, just wish we could to. Anyway heres my card for this Challenge.
And if this image doesnt warm you up Im not sure what will, Ive used this House Mouse summer image for my card and coloured it with my copic and tria pens, then used the Nestabilitie Die No.17 to cut it out then drawn around the die onto some yellow card to create the mount, the sentiment is one from the same set of unmounted stamps and I have treated it in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of yellow card and one of two papers from Donna's Bearlymine "Paper Lace" design digi set, the first a very pretty white and yellow lace edged one, then on top is yet another yellow paper from the set but it has been cut into a 5" square and around all the edges I have used a beach border and corner set from Martha Stewart, this was laid at a jaunty angle on top of the first mount. Then I have wrapped a bright ribbon down the middle and attached to the back of the first mount.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle with my sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side, to finish of I have used a prima net flower with two aster's either side and punched out leaves in the top left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pop over to the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the team have created for you and I do hope it will inspire you to take part in this fortnights Challenge.

A Card for the Just Magnolia Challenge

Good Morning All, I did promise you a card today and Ive even got three days running DT cards starting tomorrow so I will have lots for you to see. Todays card has been created for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge (and of course any other ones I can find) anyway Ive used butterfly Tilda and this weeks challenge is Paper Piecing. I stamped her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens then used one of Donna's of Bearlymine Designs papers Ive actually made it smaller for this image and used the normal size for the backing paper. I also stamped it onto white paper for the underskirt to so colouring the image I then went about cutting and layering up the bits to create my image, I then used Nestabilitie Die 18 to cut her out I also then drew around the die to create the faux mount for her. The sentiment is another of the Magnolia ones thats then been mounted on a Spellbinders ribbon banner.
The base care is a 6"x 6" white card with the first mount of pink pearlescent card and the paper from Donna these ones are called "Just Roses" and pretty pattern of roses and hearts on a yellow pink background. I then ran a piece of the same pearlescent card through my cuttlebug with the Crafts Too Blossom Folder, and then attached some lace behind it down the edges this was then positioned towards the left hand side of my card.
I then stuck my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have created a flower spray in the top left hand corner with five different sized roses and some punched out leaves.

A Card for Mo's Challenge - "Tags, tags and more tags"

Good Afternoon All, I do apologise for not posting before but you know what its like you get otherwise engaged and the days go quickly by and you dont realise that youve still not made a card. Anyways as its pouring of rain and Im on my own hubbys gone volunteering Ive actually managed to create two cards and one tag, and I thought perhaps you might like to see the tag today and one of the cards tomorrow. Ive used this little lad titled "Oxford" and as two of my grandsons are of to secondary School this September I thought it might be useful to send them to them to wish them good luck when the time comes. Anyway Ive printed him onto white card then coloured him with my copic and tria pens then used the Go Kreate Label die to cut it out.
Ive then used a dark blue card and again used the die to create a mount for it, I did have to trim around the image to mount it onto the blue card, I then also cut another in white card and then stamped a sentiment on it, and threaded through some ribbon through the tag holes at the top.

Anyway this weeks Challenge is for "Punches and Dies" and again our Fabulous Sponsers are The Paper Shelter, and they are offering this voucher for $15
and that is if you use one of their gorgeous images, but not to worry if you dont and if you are the one picked at random you will still be able to choose one of them instead, and believe me there are some stunning ones to pick from and if you like to go across to their website here you will see for yourself that they not only create such cute images but also some beautiful co-ordinating papers to.
This is my card for this weeks Challenge
I have used this sweet image called "Spring Break" and Ive printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic and tria pens, I then used my Nestabilitie Die No.16 to cut her out then drew around the die to create the mount for it. The sentiment is one from my stash and Ive dont exactly the same with this as the image. Ive also used a small leaf stamp around the edge with several different colours of green.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of cream card with one of four papers from The Paper Shelters "Sophie in the Country" digi paper set I have then layered up the rest of the papers by using the doily edge border punch from Martha Stewart, and a larger flower one for the strip across the middle. I then popped some small pearls in each of the centres of these flowers.
I positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. I also used some pearls at the bottom on the left and top on the right. Well I did promise you a hoot and hear it is this is the final sample for Sarah and you certainly carnt help smiling at this Donkey and the sentiment is also from Sarah so it all ties up so well together.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with one of Sarahs backing papers which Ive sized to actually fit the card base, the strip down the edge is yet another of the borders from the Cd, and the sentiment on the right is also on the same sheet of decoupage as the topper.
I do so hope youve enjoyed seeing my samples and hopefully it will inspire you to watch Sarahs preview program on Create and Craft a week today on the 21st June at 10am, and you then be able to see the rest of the images that on this new "Cuddle Upz 2 Funny Farm" Cd, you can also buy it from then from her website "Peerless Designs" and the postage will be free, she also has some really gorgeous other Cds for sale to.

5th Sample for Sarah of Peerless Designs

Good Morning Everyone well at least its stopped raining and the sun is trying ever so hard to come out, that might just make all the difference after yesterdays awful weather. I must go and look to see how much rain did fall as Ive got to water my orchids so Im keeping my fingers crossed theres enough to do that.
Anyway I promised you another of Sarahs samples and todays one is the ducks, these two have obviously been in the house pinching someones Birthday Cake because if you look in the beak of the front one you will see a candle hanging out like a cigarette. Anyway Ive printed them onto semi gloss paper and then cut them out to decoupage.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of pale green pearlescent card with one of the papers from Sarahs CD, she has co ordinating papers for all the animals, and borders, tags, inserts, and also the pre made cuddle upz cards these are the original idea of two animals interlocking in an embrace, you will have to watch the program on Create and Craft which is being previewed on Tuesday June 21st at 10am to see what I mean, I was just asked to create cards with the toppers and backing papers.
I will be back tomorrow with my last sample and in my eyes this is the funniest of them all, its the donkey one.

4th Sample for Sarah of Peerless Designs

Good Morning Everyone and guess what its pouring of rain here in Gloucestershire and its turned quite cold, Hubby was hoping to go and do a bit of volunteering at our local Steam Railway Restoration Society but unfortunately as he has to stand outside scrapping hes just not able to do so. Anyway I promised you sample three and here it is, Ive got to admire Sarah putting human teeth in the mouths of these animals they look so strange a bit like that advert for the dog chew you know the one I mean, anyway although calfs do have teeth Im pretty sure they dont look like these ones and I know for sure that geese dont either they may have rasps in their beaks they certainly dont have teeth as we know them.
Anyway this is a gate fold card with two of Sarahs Backing Papers, one for the front and one inside as a insert, I have also used one of her borders and then taken it into My Craft Studio program to put on the sentiment. Tomorrow I will bring you the ducks, and Tuesday the Donkey, that one is a real hoot you will love it, hope you have a lovely day.

3rd Sample for Sarah of Peerless Designs

Good Morning Everyone, well heres the third sample for Sarah and this one is the sheep image, because they have been printed onto semi gloss paper Ive been having problems with the flash on my camera so have had to turn it of and of course the photo isnt quite as sharp as it should be so please forgive me for that.
For this card Ive used one of the backing papers for the first mount which shows a farm scene and then Ive stuck this onto a green pearlescent mount with my mounted image in the centre, Ive also used one of the tags for the sentiment at the bottom. I also used another backing paper for the inside as a insert. I then created a larger mount by using beige pearlescent sheet and a deep all around border punch set from Martha Stewart then attached to the back of  the first one, but the actually card is a 7"x 7" white card which both have been attached to.
Will be back tomorrow with a calf image, hope you are enjoying these previews of the CD.

2nd Sample Card for Sarah of Peerless Designs

Good Afternoon Everyone, Im so pleased that you liked yesterdays card that I thought you might like to see my second sample for Sarah. This one is using the chickens and Sarah does have a sense of the ridiculous and the sentiment that was already on this topper is quite a hoot or cluck what ever you feel is correct. Ive used one of the decoupage sheets to create this card and have printed the topper onto semi gloss photo paper then decoupaged it with some of the other bits and pieces that are on the sheet. I even put a age badge on the blue shirted one.
I had a hell of a job creating this shape card and eventually after three attempts to get the measurements correct this is my last one, even then Ive had to overlap the topper at the top, but I dont think it matters to much. Ive only used one of the co ordinating backing sheet for the base of the card, Ive used it on all the facing bits and then positioned my topper in the middle.
Im not attempting to create my third sample just hope it doesnt take quite so long to get the measurements right for the card shape.

First Card for Sarah Hallam's new "Cuddle Upz, Funny Farm Cd.2"

Good Afternoon Everyone, you will soon be in for a treat, as my dear friend Sarah Hallam of Peerless Designs has a brand new Cd which will be previewed on Create and Craft on the 21st June at 10am, and this one has all farm animals on it. And Ive been asked again if I would create some samples for her to show on the day and I do hope the results will please you to.
Anyway I decided to use this Rabbit image for my first card and here it is and youve also got to realise that Sarah does all her own drawing and colouring for these CDs, so it does take time for her to create them.
For my card I have used four papers and one Topper plus a label which I took into My Craft Studio to put text on it. The base card is a 7"x 7" easel card, for the top of the card I have used a greeny brown base card with a paper that has a rabbit patterned background and then on top is a diamond pattern that has been mounted onto square and stuck into the centre, across the middle is yet another paper but on this one I have used a rabbit border punch on both edges then on top of this is a brown grosgrain ribbon thats been attached to the back of the first mount. I then positioned my mounted image in the middle.
For the inside I used a different base paper with a rabbit border and again across the middle is the same paper that I used for the top card and this also has had both edges punched with the same rabbit border punch and the same brown ribbon was also wrapped around and attached to the back of the mount. I also used my sentiment tag in the middle on some foam tape so that it will act as a stopper for the easel top.
Now that Ive finished this first sample I want to make a start on the rest of them I will post them as I go along so you also can see what Sarah has instore for you, they are certainly cute and they include, sheep, calf, ducks, goats, pigs etc, decoupage, inserts, tags and ribbons, bookmarks and even ready made cards. Im sure you will enjoy the images as they are so suitable for everyone including the difficult men.

Anyway heres my card for this Challenge.
And I have chosen this "Birthday Celebration" design and the banner for my card, you will find that here and the papers are also from The Paper Shelter and they are called "Birthday Cupcake" and you will find them here. Ive printed both the cake and the banner onto white card then used my tria and copic pens to colour befor then using my rotatrim to cut them out, I must also admit that I cut around the banner to fit over the cake better. I then also cut a mount for it and penned in the Happy Birthday message on the banner. I also used some glossy accents on the ballons.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with my first mount of blue pearlescent card onto this I have used my first paper which has a cupcake design all over it, the second mount is a yellow paper with multi coloured spots on and my third is a stripe one and the mounted image was then positioned in the middle. To finish of I found two cupcake buttons and stuck them down the left hand side from the top.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pop across to The Papers Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented team have created for your inspiration and then perhaps you will also decide to take part in this weeks Challenge.

Ive done the same with the sentiment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount Ive used a cream pearlescent card with one of three papers from Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Spring Flight" digi paper set, the first one is a cream background with dragonflies and butterflies on, the second Ive cut into a square and this is a pink base paper with daisy's on and this was then punched around all the edges with a lace border and corner punch set from Martha Stewart, this was stuck down at an angle, then on top of these is a strip that been positioned down the card and this is a pink paper with more of the butterflies and dragonflies on.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle with a Cherry Lynn heart thats been cut with my cuttlebug and was popped behind my image, I also punched a large butterfly out and stuck it in the top right hand corner. To finish of Ive used some of the left over paper to create three flowers that have been stuck in the opposite left hand top corner and before sticking them down Ive put some punched out leaves underneath them.
Now youve seen my card I do hope that you will pop over to the Bearlymine Challenge Blogpot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team has created for you, and hopefully this will inspire you to take part in this Challenge.

The mounted image was then positioned in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of I have stuck three buttons with bakers twine threaded through the holes that has been knotted, arranged down the left hand side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pop across to Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the design team has created for your inspiration and I do hope you will then decide to take part in it.

A Card for a Special Challenge for Crafters Companion

Good Afternoon Everyone, well its poured of rain all day here and the only thing thats enjoying it a very large toad thats taken residence in my basket of Bizzie Lizzies it made me jump when I was watering it the other day, anyway he better make the most of it as Im determined that the weather is going to change to something nicer as Im right fed up with all this cold and wet stuff.
Anyway todays card has been created for a special challenge on Crafts Companion as its hopefully gives you the chance to win the next set of Humphrey stamps, hes certainly a cutie and I thought Id give it a go. Ive used these sweet pair chatting away to one another and Ive stamped it onto white card then used my copics to colour them, then used the Nestabilitie No.1 to cut it out and then drew around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is yet another of the stamps from the set and this has been mounted onto a piece of blue pearlescent card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with the first mount of mauve card and one of three papers that Ive printed from the co-ordinating Cds, the first one a very pretty pink background with misty looking flowers on, the second is a yellow spotty one thats have both edges punched with the cherish border punch form Martha Stewart, then on top I have put a further paper a pretty heart paper with a mauve background this has been put on the slant. Over the top of all these I have wrapped a piece of mauve satin ribbon and attached it to the back with a beautiful piece of lace on top.
The mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, I then used some of the left over papers to create two flowers from the new Die namices rolled flower, and stuck them to the card on top of some punched out leaves.

A Card for Mo's Challenge "A Sketch"

Good Morning all, well I dont know about you but the weather has escaped again, yesterday started nice and warm and hot and then it dissappeared and the worst of it is I decided to wash our pillows of our bed. I thought it would be so hot theyd soon dry but then the sun went in and it started to spit with rain so I had to rush out and bring them in and dry them in the drying machine, what a bummer, not very happy about that.
Anyway todays card has been created for this weeks Mo's Challenge and Ive used these sweet two and to me they look like brothers and I found a sentiment on the internet and decided it matched what I thought these two are like.
Ive printed them onto white card then used my copic and tria pens to colour them out, afterwards I used my oval Nestabilie die to cut them out and the beaded oval for the mount. The base card is a 7"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue pearlescent card and my one paper is from the Dovecraft Baby paper pack its a Alphabet one with animals on, then across the middle I have wrapped a rafia ribbon with a grosgrain ribbon on top and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then positioned my image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the left, and instead of flowers around the image Ive used two images of a cat and dog at the bottom on the right.
