Challenge #19 - Cards for Men - "Going Digital"

Wow its been awhile since we had a challenge over at Cards for Men, weve been taking a summer break to give us time to recoup ourselves and to spend a bit of time with our families, but now they are back at School again we thought it was high time we got ourselves into gear and started the Challenge blog again so for this fortnight we are being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique

And they are offering you a prize of 3 digi images of your own choice, and here is what they say about themselves:-

I'm Tracey Malnofski, the artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique. My team and I are very happy to sponsor 2 Sketches 4 You. My store has been open since September 2009.I am currently a stamp artist for UnityStampCo. and I've worked for InStyleStamps, Squigglefly, and TheDigiShack in the past. I'm a professional artist and an active member of the Artist' Guild in my community. I have quite a busy household with a husband, 3 teenagers, 5 mini-dachshunds and an Appaloosa mare. It's noisy, but I love them all. I'm truly blessed.
"The Stamping Boutique" is dedicated to quality products and original artwork. We not only provide wonderful digital images in our store, but also several lines of red rubber images. Our designers are chosen for their character and personality,as well as, their beautiful designs. We work hard to give you our very best. Thank you so much for having us as your sponsor this week.

And we were lucky enough to receive a couple of images to play with and I chose this one for my card.

I have used this fabulous desk image and coloured it with my copic pens, then cut it out with my rotatrim, and created a mount with some brown card, the sentiment is one I created on my computer and printed it and mounted it in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of brown card and the papers are from Sweetshoppe Digi Downloads and its called "School Rules", I have used three different ones and layered them up on some more brown card. To finish of I have used a couple of pencil buttons in opposite corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and take part in this fortnights "Going Digital" Challenge.

And for this Challenge we are being sponsered by "The Stamping Boutique"

And they are offering a prize of 3 digis of your own choice, and here is what they say about themselves.

And I chose to use AJ on a Cycle as I know a lot of the men enjoy either racing or mountian biking, I know as my grandson loves taking part in it.

Ive printed him onto white card and then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used my rotatrim to cut him out and stamped the sentiment and mounted them both in the same way on some dark blue card.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of blue card, and the papers are ones I found on the interenet and I have placed the first one a dark blue paper with lots of cycles on, the second is a sentiment one and Ive used a Martha Stewart border punch down the edge and placed it on top of the first one.
The mounted image was then positioned towards the left and the sentiment below on the right hand side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the design team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Kicking Back" Challenge.

And she has kindly offered 5 digis of your choice for the prize and this is what she says about herself and her company:-

I'm Tracey Malnofski, the artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique. My team and I are very happy to sponsor Cards for Men. And here is my card for this Challenge, Ive used this cute image of a Soldier and coloured him with my copic pens and then used my glitter pen on the stars and cut it out with a Rectangle Nestabilitie Die and mounted it onto a larger one for the mount. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue pearlescent card and one of Donna's Bearlymine Design papers a blue background with stars on.  Ive then used some of the blue card to create two star shapes with a star Die and then ran them through a star embossing folder then arranged them on top of the first paper.
The mounted image was then positioned in the centre with my tag sentiment on a jaunty angle on the right hand side. To finish of Ive used several star gems at the top on both sides.
Now youve seen my card I do hope you will pop across to the Cards for Men Blogspot and see what the rest of the team have created for the challenge and hopefully you also will be inspired to take part in the challenge.

Challenge 26 - "A Sketch" by Myself

Well firstly I want to wish all our loyal followers of Cards for Men a very "Happy New Year" and to start a new year of Challenges, my Design Team Leader has asked me to design a sketch and here it is:-
And for this first Challenge of 2011 we are being sponsered by "Stamping Boutique" and they have offered us as a prize of five of their fabulous digi stamps:-
And this is what our sponser says about themselves:-

I'm Tracey Malnofski, the artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique. My team and I are very happy to sponsor Cards for Men. My store has been open since September 2009.I am currently a stamp artist for UnityStampCo. and I've worked for InStyleStamps, Squigglefly, and TheDigiShack in the past. I have actually used one of their stamps and this is of a knight standing in front of a castle, Ive printed him onto white card before colouring him with my copic pens, I then used my rotatrim to cut him out and then mounted him onto some brown card, the sentiment is one I created on my computer and this was also mounted in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with the first layer of brown card, the papers I have used are from one of Donna's of Bearlymine Designs Free downloads, and I chose two brick designs and one blue paper, these were arranged according to the sketch, and then my mounted image positioned in the middle and my sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have stuck three buttons down the left hand side.
I do so hope you will pop over to Cards for Men blog and see the rest of the fabulous cards that my fellow Design Team members have created for this Challenge.
