A Card for Mo's Digital Challenge
Good Afternoon Everyone, its been quite awhile since I created a card for Mo's Digital Challenge and this weeks is favourite combination of colours, and as lilac/purple/mauve is my absolute favourite and was my mums as well, and Ive have combined it with yellow as they really do look so lovely together.
Ive used Mo's "Adele" for my main image and have coloured her with my copic pens, then used the oval die to cut it out, the mount is the new Floral oval die from Nestabilitie die, the sentiment is one from my stash and has been mounted on a piece of the same purple card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of purple card with one of the new Patchwork Party digi paper from Donna of Bearlymine designs, this is beautiful paper in purple and yellow and goes so well with my image. Ive then wrapped a piece of purple web ribbon around the middle with a organza ribbon on top of it, these were attached to the back of the first mount.
The image was positioned in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of I have used another piece of paper with the same pattern and run through the cuttlebug with a spiral flower in two sizes these were stuck in the top left hand corner on top of two punched out leaf swirls. And the last flourish are four flower buttons that have had small pieces of ribbon threaded through and tied in a knot at the back, these were stuck to the card in the top right and bottom left corners.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

Cards for Men - Challenge #9 - "Texture"
Good Morning Everyone, Im not sure if youve seen this new blogger design, but Im really confused as to whats going on, if I have a hiccup I do hope you will excuse me as its all a learning curve for me. Anyway this fortnights Challenge over on Cards for Men is "Texture" and we are being sponsored by Kenny K,
And theyve generously have offered us 4 digi images for winners choice,
and this is what they say about themselves:-
I'm sure you're all familiar with the wonderful work of Kenny K's Shop but what about the man (and woman) behind those wonderful creations. Take a look here to see their journey,
Wow thats some prize Im sure you will agree and here is my card.
For my card I have used this saucy lady "Cheyenne" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her then used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.1 to cut her out, and used a larger one for the mount out of brown card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of brown card, and for my two papers I have used DCWV's "All about Boys" stack, the papers are cowboys ones and go brilliantly with the image, then on the other side I have used one of the co-ordinations papers thats been put through a cuttlebug and then sanded down to give it texture.
The mounted image was then positioned in the centre and the sentiment at the bottom on the right handside, to finish of I have used some rope and twisted it into a circle and stuck in the top left hand corner, at the bottom is a horseshoe and a boot.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will go and visit the "Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot" and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this "Texture" Challenge.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge - "A Sketch"
Good Morning Everyone, well Im so sorry for not doing much in the posting line, but its been busy here even though Ive not put anything on my blog I have been creating cards, I want to try and get ahead before we go away for a few days at the end of May, and you know what its like the time whizzes by and before you know it the holiday date is here and none of my DT cards are ready either to post or to schedule. So I thought that I would for today post a card for not only this weeks Sugar Bowl Challenge "A Sketch" but also for their Sugary Sunday Challenge over on Facebook, this week its a colour challenge.
And I decided to use "Elaines" favourite character "Pippa Longstockings" and I agree she is gorgeous and so so cute, Ive stamped her onto white card and then used my copics to colour her, afterwards Ive cut her out with Nestabilitie Label Die No.17 and then drawn around the die to create the mount, the sentiment is one from my stash and has also been stamped and then mounted onto the same colour card as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green/blue card and the papers Ive used are from the Sweetshope digi downloads and this one is called "Two Straws" and this first paper has lots of scrolls on, and on top is a piece of diamond patterned paper in green and blue, this was positioned down the card.
I then cut out two swirls and positioned them in the bottom left hand corner, and then on top I positioned my mounted image, and the sentiment was stuck down the edge of the right hand side.
This card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

I promised you yesterday that I would post the rest of the samples this morning so here we are, I do hope you will be watching the preview program on Create and Craft tomorrow at 10am as I think you will be giggling like mad at some of the things the animals are not only doing but saying as well.

A Card for Sunday's with Santa - "Family"
Good Afternoon All, I do hope youve all had a good week and looking forward to this weekend, unfortunately the weather doesnt look as if its going to be particularly nice, but you can always live in hope. We are still having to take our dog to the vets every couple of days, as on Wednesday we found her limping and it turned out her leg had become swollen, so now she sports not only a collar but also a bandage boot on her left back leg, weve also been told it will probably be another week before she will be able to have the stitches out, which makes it almost 3 weeks since she had her operation, not what we were expecting.
Anyway back to the card Ive posted today, this is for this weeks Sunday's with Santa on Faceboon Challenge and this week they want a "Family" one, and I decided this sweet LOV image was quite appropriate for it, Ive stamped it onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens, then used Nestabilitie die labels No.17 to cut it out and then drew around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one of the Polka Doodles Xmas stamps that I got as a freebie with one of my craft magazines.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, and the papers I have used are Nitwits "Frost n Flakes" digi paper set, the first paper is a snowflake design and I then used a sentiment paper and my large Memory Box Snowflake die and punched out two of them and stuck them to the first mount, then used a corner die from the same company and these were stuck in the two opposite corners. I then positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.

The Paper Shelters 59th Challenge - "Buttons and Bows"
Good Morning Everyone, I hope you all had a lovely Easter, ours was a bit traumatic watching over a rather depressed little dog, shes having to wear a collar to stop her licking her feet and removing her stitches, shes already had to have one of her feet restitched and will now have to wait until next week before she can have them removed. Anyway back to this weeks Challenge over at The Paper Shelter Blogspot and for this one we want to see "Buttons and Bows" on your cards, and as always we are being sponsered by Veronica and Pedro,

The sentiment is one of the CC stamps and this has also been mounted on some of the left over green card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and one of three papers from the "Victorian Beauty" papers and you will find them here. The first paper is a cream background with roses on and the second a pretty pink paper thats been mounted across the card, and then for the third one Ive used a green background one. Then around the card I have wrapped a piece of lace with a piece of green seam binding ribbon thats been tied into a triple bow.
The mounted image was then stuck in the middle with the sentiment below on the right, to finish of I have stuck small flower buttons around the image on the crown points, and with some of the left over paper I used a Die-namics rolloed flower die to cut them out and created a flower thats been mounted in the top right hand corner on some punched out leaves.

Digi Doodle Shop is the results of a mother and daughter’s love for the arts and crafts. It was started a little over 3 years ago with a little more than 100 stamps, and has since then grown to almost 500 stamps. Joy (the mother of this team) designs realistic images, while Judy (aka/daughter) loves the “fun side of life”, and create images with a cartoon flair. Having these two complimenting styles have enabled
Digi Doodle Shop to offer a wide variety of stamps.
It is a real honor and pleasure to sponsor this challenge, and we look forward to seeing all the amazing creations. We thank the design team for their incredible creations, and wish all the participants the very best of luck in this challenge.

Oh Dear one Depressed little Dog
Well we took our little girl to the Vets this morning for a check up and hes had to restitch her back leg and has also had to tape up all the paws to try and stop her licking them, and to put the top hat on it shes now having to wear a collar which is not something shes very happy about, but if it gives her wounds a chance to heal hopefully it will be all worth it.
She will have to wear it now till Monday the 16th when she has the stitches removed, what fun we are going to have Im sure. At least we will be able to take her for short walks probably on Monday that should with any luck cheer her up as she has missed going out with hubby.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges
Good Afternoon Everyone, sorry Ive not been posting to much lately, but have been busy trying to catch up in advance with my DT cards but also I wanted to spend sometime with my Yorkie Missy, as she had to have several operations yesterday, she was spayed, six dew claws had to be removed and two baby teeth which werent going to come out on their own as they were rather impacted in her jaw. Anyway fortunately everything went well and shes in a good condition though she has removed some of her stitches from one of her back legs, and has now got a hole and Im hoping it will heal of its on accord and wont need stitching up again, we have to go to the local vets on Saturday for a check up so we will be able see what they say then.
Anyway back to the card Ive posted today, as you are probably aware Sugar Nellie also run a Sunday challenge on Facebook, they are mainly colour challenges and are great fun, you really out to have a look for yourself and join in the fun. Ive also found that the sketch Ive used is the one they are using for this weeks Sugar Bowl Challenge and so Im going to enter it in there to.
The image is a real cutie and her name is "Belle" and Ive coloured her with my copic pens and cut it out with a Memory Box dies (which are my favourite tool) and then used another for the mount. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of turquoise card and the papers Ive used are from Kay Millers "Fairy Dust" digi papers. Ive also used some of the papers to create a rolled flower with a Spellbinders flower die, this was stuck to the top on the left on top of some punched out leaves.

Good Morning Everyone, well another week has slipped by and weve now reached our twentyninth Challenge here at Bearlymine Designs and for this one we want to see your patchwork designs on your card, and we are being sponsered this week by "Fred She Said"
They are offering a fabulous prize of $20. to spend on their website.
And we were all lucky enough to be able to choose an image to play with and I chose this one,
This image is called "Emma the Skipper" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then used my copics to colour her and a oval Nestabilitie die to cut her out, afterwards I used a Cheery Lynn Swedish Oval diecut to mount her on.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the backing paper is several pages of the "Spring Blossoms" from Bearlymine Designs and you will find them here, I have cut them all into strips and then woven them into a mat that I then stuck to the blue mount and used my sewing machine with a zigzag stitch to hold it all in place.
The mounted image was then placed to the left of the card and a sentiment has been placed on the right. To finish of I have used two large Daisys and one small in the top left hand corner, these were stuck to the card with three silk leaves underneath them.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pop across to the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of our very talented Design Team have created for you and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this "Patchwork Design" Challenge.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
